The daughter post of my basic post, Red World Metaphysics: The Three Selves.

Humankind have the most basic and most balanced build-up. In fact, there is very little to remark about.

The Flesh of men is generally considered to be very weak, being compared to dragons and demons. However, their neural will power greatly exceeds that of either. Thus, while very weak, they can exert 110% of their physical strength, making their heroes equal to the challenge of slaying dragons.

The spirit of men has become increasingly distant from men over time, causing their craft strength to wane and their spiritual awareness to diminish.
At the same time men have become increasingly in tune with their shadow sides, darkening the hearts and souls of men as the end approaches.

What exactly is the shadow? How do you define it?

Ah, thanks. :) Still wading through all the threads, and I obviously didn't get them in the right order.
