So...I'm considering getting a poem published. I'm wondering if any of y'all have any experience publishing poems, or how to go about that? This would be my first publishing, and I'm looking for a Christian (preferably) magazine, either e-zine or print.

I basically just...don't know where to start, and I'm a little overwhelmed, so any help would be appreciated =)

I've had one poem published, and a bunch rejected. Unfortunately the magazine that I was published in has now went out of business, since it would have likely been an option.

Duotrope has a search engine to find magazines that fit what someone writes. Just set it to the poetry option and Theme: Religious/Spiritual, along with any other options you want. Some of the magazines it lists will be for other religions, so you'll have to sort through those, but it's still probably the fastest way to find Christian magazines that publish poetry.

Thank you, Jonathan! Grace pointed me to that website, but I only found the poetry search part right as I was getting off. I will give it a looksee =)
