This is written by Milly, who asked me to post it for her.

Quote:
Welcome travelers! I hope you have found the journey to Eshteka pleasant so far. As we prepare for landing, there are a few things you should know about Asroko, the continent on which we are about to settle…

Ameantor’s aggression has spread from the borders of Masurtania to the eastern parts of Mainoshet, and Thamaltis is deploying her army to defend her sister country. Meanwhile, behind the Thamaltan’s backs, the Canatians have deployed hoards of spies and soldiers, who are quietly taking over the government in south-east Thamaltis. When will the king wake up to his danger?

Alandith, thankfully, is not inclined to war, at present, and Veldskhon is suffering from a severe drought. If Ameantor should take it into her head to attack the poor Veldskhonians, they will be sure to fall. Where will this war end? Will the squabbling countries realize their danger and work together, or will Ameantor become the master of all Asroko?

Ladies and gentlemen, please fasten your seatbelts, we are beginning our descent.

Whoa! How'd I get on this flight? This sounds fascinating, is it an introduction to a story that I can read somewhere? Maybe I missed something and am asking a stupid question, sorry if that's the case. :/

No typos as I can see. :D

"and Thamaltis is deploying her army to defend her sister country" seems a bit awkward here with the two uses of "her". :? Maybe you could reword that. :)

No, no, Wolf, of course not! :) This is an introduction to Milly's world. It's kind of like a grabber to interest people. :D

Thanks so much for posting it for me, Airi! :) I appreciate it very much. Also, I was thinking, should the 'grabber' have the link to my subforum in it? :)

*Grin* Thanks. Actually, I haven't posted any Eshtekan stories yet because they're undergoing serious reconstruction, and it wouldn't do any good to show it if it's going to be drastically changed again. :) But, someday, I will. :D

I can relate to that, but looking forward to seeing it when it's ready! :D
I actually don't feel like much of my world is 'ripe' enough for any stories to be written about it yet. But, I did go ahead and write a short story that takes place in the southeast corner of it, and some refugees are sailing up towards the main continent...so I'd better hurry and prepare it for them! I wouldn't want to make them stand waiting on a plain beach telling jokes at my expense while I try to figure out what lies in the forest...

Yes, it should, Milly. Obviously it did not transfer over properly. I will make sure it transfers to the blog, though. :D

 Yeah, if that's the case you might want to explore post haste. ;)

Yes yes! I have much to do, fortunately they have a ways to go, but still I'd better get going if everything is going to be just right (well, by earthly standards hopefully to some extent a little bit).
God bless while you rearrange/reconstruct things in your world!

*Editor head pops up from the purpleness* This all looks to fine, good, and typo-less to me, Millzees! And good job with writing it. :D It's fascinating. I look forward to seeing it on the blog!
