Seymour: [To Niarah] Then the chat room it shall be. [Turns to Kimun and pulls out his bladed staff, the blade is more like a thick scythe (think more like the swords in Aladdin that the men in the city used, but wider)] My only weapon. As to cobha, There are no major rules. I do not have very much skill in magic like Cory and Lorielle and Jek, but I know some.

Cory: Dude, you do?

Seymour: I'm half Elf, sir.

Cory: Oh yeah...

Seymour: But aside from that, there is no other special requirement.

Tesmir: This... will be an awesome duel. And then he's got one with Niarah. This is the most he's done anything here.

Me: But you will only see this one.

Tesmir: What? Why?

Me: Because he'll in the chat room next. And all of you are staying here again. I'm putting Cory and Rowen in charge.

Carter: (@Alanhil) If you wish to duel, I will be happy to oblige. What weapon do you use?
Me: If it's fine with everyone, I'd like to do Raven's duel first, since if I did Carter's first, and he did really badly, then Raven's duel would have to be really, really bad. :P (@Lady Terra) No, that's fine, thanks. Two against one isn't fair, anyway.

Raven: (@Tesmir) Perhaps. But you would have thought Robin's actions would have made them take notice by now.

Interesting, the problem for me with that site, there's too many women. I need men for my characters, like Harrison Ford or Kevin Costner.

Wow...nice picture. It's actually really different from how I pictured Arionwyn, but, you're the author. I tried morphing two pictures of the same person...it sounds really lame but actually if you take two very different pictures of the same person you can come up with a very different result.

::Felicia dodges Taiven's strikes, and brings her own sword down in a quick slice which grazes Taiven's right shoulder. Felicia brings her sword up quickly into a protective position.::

Alanhil: My author hasn't decided yet, Carter. I think she wants to wait till the end of Felicia's duel to start mine, and so is waiting on giving me a weapon till then.

Me: Not exactly....

Alanhil: See? Doesn't admit it. Sure sign of guilt... if she was the villian. If she was the goodguy, then it'd be a sure sign of--

Saiph: Are you done yet?

Tynx: [Laughing hysterically as the traps set off behind him] Can't catch me with those! [Doesn't even see the giant chasm and rolls straight into it] Who put this here? [Starts following the rut] I love your courses, Aaron!

Seymour: [Slices the air with his bladed staff, getting a good grip] You're move, sir.

Tesmir: And that's when your grateful people don't look beyond their own doorsteps. But perhaps Robin has a way of keeping his actions low key?

Rowen: Welcome to the chaotic activity, Hunter.

Me: Hmm.... I've ben debating where or not to change my username. I have a name I like, but I'm not entirely sure. What d'you guys think?

Seymour: Very well. [Springs forward with startling speed and cuts diagonally across Kimun's chest]

Me: He's so cool. Hmm, what d'you think of changing my username, Emeth? I need opinions!

Kimun redirects the blow over his shoulder and repositions behind Seymour, cutting powerfully at his back.

Hunter Romero: Thank you all for the welcome, it looks rather interesting in here.

Me: No kidding.

Hunter: Anyone familiar with the fencing? Or are you all trained in authentic Medevial combat? If so, I would like to interview you.

Me: I forgot to mention, he's a professor of medevial history and literature, as well as a degree in medevial warfare.

Seymour: [Makes his original move into a slice as he turns in one fluid movement, but the power makes him take a step backward] You are swift and powerful. Who was your mentor?

Me: The name Lady Aris Lillylight was what I had in mind. Lillylight could be subject to change, though. Aris is/will be a character that's more like me. I'm fractalling her.

Mordir: Do a villain, for goodness sake! You've got plenty! Make up a completely new one if it so pleases you.

Me: Maybe. Or I might give you a completely new makeover.

Hunter Romero: They're all too busy at the moment. Oh well. I wonder if they know where Atlantis is?

Me: Don't rub it in, please.

Seymour: [Struggles to deflect blows, then springs forward to counter. Steps to the side and gets behind Kimun and attacks there. They must be very skilled swordsmen.

Cory: He's certainly got his work cut out for him.

Tesmir: Grown men who're experienced with swords is definitely something to see.

Jek: [To Hunter] I think we're all trained with... whatever it is you called it. Fencing, I'm not familiar with.

Hakor: It must have something to do with fences.

Tynx: [Wheezing as he finally climbs out of the rut] Holy... cow... that was.... so exhausting! [Collapses against the desk, panting. Then reached behind with his paw and smacks the desk befor dropping his paw back down. Made it....

Saiph: Maybe he'll be less energetic now?

Me: Doubt it.

Seymour: Oh? [Brings staff over his head to block the blow a little, winces as the tip pierces him] You are very skilled. Tesmir could learn from you.

Hakor: How is he able to hold a very calm and polite conversation with a man he's fighting?

Tesmir: I don't know, but I am really not appreciating all the teasing I am receiving from you people!

Seymour: [Turns and swings staff watching Kimun closely] Does your world allow magic, Kimun?

Mordir: I'm getting bored.

Me: Go knock yourself out in a duel if you want.

Jesse: Let Werynn duel you.

Mordir: Ha, not a chance. I may be a villain, but I am no fool. I know my limits, and my limits end before Elves.

Weryn: You are very wise, Mordir, to realize that us Elves have more strength than you.

Mordir: Maybe, but you don't need to get so high and mighty about it.

Me Hmm... I think I will change it.

Mordir: Change what?

Me: My username. So, I will leave you all here, while I go run my errand.

Mordir: She does that a lot, doesn't she?

Cory: She does. But she comes back.

Niarah - (watches Kimun and Seymour) Wow, they're both good. I'm not sure I'll be able to win against Seymour.

Rahor - You have to give they guy a break after this duel. He's taking some heavy blows.

Sumira - (her gaze frosty) All of this fighting is foolish.

Niarah - No one asked you to duel.

Rahor - Peace, girls.

(Both snow leopards shrug and back off)

Niarah - Has anyone seen Traxus lately?

Rahor - He vanished a while ago. He could probably duel Mordir.

Niarah - @Mordir: Hey, feel like tackling a tiger?

Thysal - That might not be wise, given that Mordir is a villain, and that Traxus is a grandson of Marlas.

Me - What does that have to do with anything?

Rahor - Where'd you come from?

Thysal - Well, since Mordir is a villain, he might cheat. On the other claw, Marlas was the greatest warrior in the north when he was alive. And Traxus is almost exactly like him.

Niarah - So?

Me - Relax guys. Let Zoey finish what she's doing, she probably doesn't want to handle two duels at once. For now, if you guys want to spar someone, pick someone else.

Thysal - Any dragons? Thuron? A dragon battle would be fun.

Rahor - Hunter, what do you mean by "Atlantis"? I'm curious. It sounds interesting.

Terra: Tynx! You are like the energizer bunny, what happened?!

Eli: Did he run out of batteries?

Me: Eli! *laughs* Do you even know what a battery is?

Eli: Um...

Me: Thought so.

Terra: Hunter, you are into studying history? do you hunt at all?

Me: Terra, you too!

Terra: *looks unguilty* What did I do?

Me: Agh! let's go eat something, you two can stop your little jokes!

*Terra and Eli high-five*

Tynx: [Glances at Terra] Despite the fact that I may seem related to this battery creature, my energy has its limits... Gah, I'm exhausted. Anyone have some water?

Mordir: I beg your pardon? I do not cheat. Except maybe one or two times, but I didn't start it.

Cory: Why do I get the feeling that that isn't true?

Mordir: I don't know, maybe because you are a hero, and I'm a villain? We're supposed to disagree?

Me: He's got the hero/villain relationship down pretty well.

Mordir: I am perfectly able to fight without cheating. I will duel!

Me: Oh sure, no regard for what I'm able to handle. I'm kidding, he can duel.

Saiph: There are a lot of duels around here. I feel out of place.

Spica: Maybe it's because you are?

Saiph: What put you in such a sour mood?

Shadow: Enough, both of you. You're acting like children.

Mordir: [Doesn't quite know how to respond]

Cory: That... was brilliant. Can we do that to him?

Me: No. The assassin stays.

Cory: Darn.

Mordir: Ha ha.

Lorielle: I'm ready to duel whenever you are, Arionwyn.

Tynx: [Gets to his feet] Alright, I'm good. What's next?!

Me: You never cease to amaze.

Tynx: I try.

Me: And succeed.

Rowen: You wingless ones are so odd. You fight with removable claws and are as slow as snails.

Cry: And you're big and you smell.

Rowen: I do not smell! I have respect for personal hygiene, thank you very much.

Cory: Hey, you insult us, we insult you.

Rowen: I'm not the only dragon here, little one.

Cory: Aye, but the comment was directed to you.

Tesmir: Chill. Someone's gonna get hurt.

Seymour: Both of you need to learn to respect each other.

Me: Dude, you're in the middle of a battle. Don't talk to us.

Me: HOORAY FOR TYNX!!!

Aaron: [sits back in his chair] Hurmph. I could have stopped him if you were here.

Me: Exactly. I was cheering for tynx.

Aaron:

Tom: By the way, where have you been?

Dan: Why were you gone?

Me: guys, I'm tired. go to sleep.

Jacob: It's only 3 o'clock.

Tynx: OK, technically, it wasn't dying. I gave up the core, and my body faded away in a bunch of bright sparkles. It's a different kind of death.

Me: Of course.

Tynx: Wish I could've stayed longer, though. I never got to meet Aaron's mother. His brother was OK, a little weird. But they all were at one point.

Me: Only you would think so. OK, random question. Anybody know if the name Esmerelda has any nicknames? I've got Essie, but that's it.

Um... Zelda? Emerald?

Me: I've heard Esmerelda be nicknamed 'Mary' or 'Merry'...

Terra: Oh, that is such a pretty name.

Me: Is she one of your characters?

::Felicia leans forward, one knee on the ground, the other foot far back, and moves her sword quickly in an upwards cut at Taiven's arm::

Felicia: From my experience, Taiven, you should be flat on your back after a move like that. But evidently in your world gravity and balance follow different rules, so I will not debate it... this time.

Me: Taiven Knight, how will we determine when the duel is done?

I have hunted high and low for a place to comment on your new avatar and have settled on this one for no other reason then because it seems to be the most popular, and will probably grow all the fast for deviating a tiny bit.

It is awesome!! You did an incredible job! And it's got your name on it, in two languages and everything! (And yes, I can read the greek one.) Coolness!!! (I said it's my favorite smiley, now I have to use it.)

Me: Ok, I'm officially changing my username, I just made merashath a TON more evil, and it feels kind of weird having it as my username. I'm thinking of changing it to Elanhil, another character of mine, or Voronwe, my elvish name. What do ya'll think?

Elanhil: I like the idea of Elanhil.

Me: Oh, I'm also only allowing Elanhil and merashath in. I've changed merashath quite a bit, like I said, so he can talk.

Merashath: Thank-you.

Me: Let me introduce them. Elanhil is a brave young man who lives in an eastern city. He is about 18 years old, and has an interesting longing for adventure. He's short, has brown hair, but blue eyes. He is handsome, but weak minded.

Elanhil: yup, that's me, weak minded handsome man.

Me: as for merashath, I've changed him quite a bit. He's still the bat-like creature, without hands and clumsy talons. In my world, elves were unfallen humans. As a result of the fall, all the elves became sinful, and are now called humans. Merashath was an elf, and he was the cause of the fall. Now he is cursed to live until the end of time as a large bat-like creature.

Merashath: Whoah to those who cross me.

Me: A very new one. I started a story for her and her older brother. I've hardly gotten three paragraphs. SHe and her bro were created on white boards, just faces. And then I got an idea for a story, and so now they have two paragraphs.

Tesmir: You should really start finishing some of the ones you have.

Me: I know, I should. I like you username, Elanhil. It sounds very heroic.

Rowen: A re-welcome to you both, Elanhil and Merashath. Change seems to be everywhere.[Glances at me]

Me: Hmm? You say something?

Mordir: He did. You missed it.

Me: I did not. I WROTE it. So there.

Sir Emeth, I have to say I like your avatar very much. I go on a hiking trip for two days, and everything's different. This is the first time this has ever happened! We need a plaque commemorating the event!

Me: What about Alanhil? I liked him but everyone seems to have jointly forgotten him.

Zaciré: Poor guy.

Forsvar: You young rippers just wait until my author gets to the part of the book where another old man is telling these three youngsters (after my death) about the time when I was young and fought for Vèhonas' independence. Then I'll duel someone.

Samsvar: Methinks I would like to duel someone, but I am too large and lumbering for someone such as Seymour and that guy that always types in red and has a ton of swords. I don't even think I would be able to fight either Taiven of the Flaming Hair or Felicia of the Absent Groom. I will just watch for now.

Numaryá: Oh be quiet! eruheran has left us at the same point in the book for two weeks. Where we're in an argument. Which is awkward considering we go on the rest of the quest together, after Samsvar's dead and all, so I'm not talking to you until Mr. Author gets us out of the argument!

Me: Whatever. Let's go.

Merashath: [glares around at several of the characters and stops his gaze at kimun] Screech!! Who is this one? I think he posses a deep knowledge of magic. Light magic. [shivers]

Me: Yes he does. But don't get too angry at him.

Merashath: I'm not mad. Just suspicious. I don't like light magic.

Elanhil: I need something to do.

Me: Get to know people. There's plenty of people here. Go talk to Felicia, your sister in law.

Elanhil: It looks like she's busy.

Me: Ok. I also have a picture of you. I made it on morph thing but edited it. I gave him brown hair, blue eyes and tilted his eyebrows a bit.

::Felicia locks here sword with Taiven's and uses it to spin around and get behind her. She lays her sword lightly on Taiven's neck.::

Felicia: Alright, let's be done. I think my "absent groom" wants to fight someone.

Alanhil: I am not absent! Hey, Elanhil, welcome back, brother! Can I kill Merashath? Please?? He needs killed. Desperately.

Me: I don't think you should actually kill someone else's characters.... and I thought you were going to fight Carter or somebody anyway.

Alanhil: Once you give me a weapon.

Me: Oh, yeah. I guess I'll have to work on that today...

Camden: And write more on your second draft!

Malchus: And finish developing our world.

Tesmir: Man, if we thought he was dangerous enough, his hair aflame would make him nigh unstoppable.

Saiph: I'll duel someone!

Spica: Saiph, you moron, you're gonna get yourself killed. You're so hasty!

Saiph: Tch, I'll be fine. You worry too much.

Shadow: She is female, she has the right to worry too much.

Spica: I can't tell if that was an insult or a compliment.

Saiph: Either way, he's teaming against me.

Tesmir: I know how you feel.

Saiph: I'm just glad My brother's not here. I think he'd die of fright. Only because he's hardly ever set foot out of the cave.

Spica: Unlike us reckless youths who risked our necks to become friends with humans.

Saiph: Excuse me? I was the one who almost died. You were only forbidden to ever go outside.

Me: I'm sure they could go on for a long time.

Shadow: No doubt.

[Sounds of Saiph and Spica arguing in the background.]

Me: Lady Aris, I think I've seen your avy someplace before... hmmmm.

Saiph: Yes, of a star. Same as mine and Spica's. Don't ask how that got started.

Me: My family and I went to the Creation Museum and saw the galaxy show thing they had, and I saw a star with the name of Saiph. So in the dark I wrote it down (in the back of the notebook, with the notebook upside down). Spica and Anteres were found in an almanac.

Saiph: And that's the reason I told you not to ask. Because I knew she would explain.

Me: What? They're cool names!

Shadow: And then there's my name.

Me: Yeah, you can tell my creativity died with you.

Cory: Died? It was shot mercilessly in the back and buried with no honor or ceremony.

Me: LOL, Cory! But I actually liked the name. A lot of fantasy characters get odd ones that you can't pronounce. Ah, Aris, I knew I'd seen it before! I own all 6 books, though I don't really read them. Writing style annoys me to death.

Malchus: You going to let us into this post?

Me: Nope! I have to go pick beans & tomatoes.

Malchus: [to self] I wonder when she'll realise that I just got into the post...

Me: I heard that!

Malchus: Authors are so annoying.
