How do I look?

I have puny hands... maybe 5 inches.

@Shawn: Sorry it took me so long! I picture you with shaggy brown hair, green eyes and simple features. I also think you are fairly tall... What did I get right?

See, my mother has long thin fingers but small hands, and my father has big hands but short(er) fat fingers. I got the big hands and long thin fingers. My middle finger, from knuckle to the tip, is I think 4.75 inches long.

When my littlest sister was born, I could hold the back of her head with my ring, middle, and index fingers, under her arms with my thumb and little finger, and her bottom sat a few inches below my wrist. Yes, I can cradle an 8.5 pound newborn in one hand.

That's interesting. I have big hands, but shortish, thicker fingers.

Surprisingly, my middle finger is around the same size as yours (I think slightly shorter) - so your hands must be bigger than mine.

My father has big hands, and short, beefy fingers, while my mother has a smallish hand, with long, thin fingers. I got big hands, and reasonably long, but thick, fingers.

That's amazing that you were able to do that with your sister. Then again, I probably could do that, too.

Having big hands is quite nice.

.. Although older brother has really big hands, maybe around the eight inch mark, but we are also about 1 ft and 1/2 diffrent in height so it is reasonable that his hands should be bigger than mine!

All ya'll are lucky, be glad you don't have teenie hands, they're a pain!

I have fairly small hands. I can barely reach an octave on piano. But I have teeny tiny fingernails.... if I hold my hands up to someone else's, you can really tell.

I don't have bangs and my hair is thin. It's not THAT dark, but not that light either... and my skin is tannish.

You got the rest correct. And also, I am not short! I am fun-size!

I have small wrists and smallish hands. I have slight long fingers that I think are large (but my friend says they're small) with short fingernails.

The grip strength of both my hands together is greater than my weight (and I weigh 250).

Yeah, the chiropractor measured it, back before I started working out, and it was 150 in my right hand and 130 in my left. I'll bet it's quite a bit more by now.

*inspects fingers* They've never been very strong, so they just break off when I play the guitar. Makes my hands look even smaller.

I used to bite mine. It runs in my family, actually - both my mom and my grandmother did it, I heard.

Various is tall and has shaggy black hair with blue eyes, he looks quite lank... Am I right?
