Thanks to Andi, Red Rain now has a review on Squeaky Clean Reviews! If you wanted to read a summary of the book's content (or lack thereof), this'll do ya. :D http://www.squeakycleanreviews.com/revi ... ew_id=2199 Thank you so much, Andi!

And chapter 5 of the audiobook is up! Grace reads with a lot of particularly awesome expression in these next few chapters.

Ooh! Well done, Philli! *Question is* When the time comes, should one purchase the Paperback from Amazon, or the kindle version. Hmmm. There's nothing quite like actually holding the book in your hands. :)

I finally decided to actually click the link in the signature(after ages of going 'as soon as I have time for a new book to read'). Listened to part of the first chapter of the audiobook, and downloaded it on my Kindle. This was last night. I'm done now. It was amazing. I loved it. Congratulations.

Chapter 7 of the audiobook went up yesterday! Chapter 8 will go up tomorrow, though I'm strongly tempted to put it up today. Grace did an absolutely amazing job narrating, and then she tossed in a surprise in the editing... I'm totally geeking out. :dieshappy:

But, in other news, the box of books came today! So many pretty copies... I'm signing and packing preorders right now.

As a heads up... I'm having an interview for the Holy Worlds podcast today, and our primary topic of discussion is Red Rain. Soon you'll be able to listen to me ramble idiotically about my book in my own voice! ;)

But we stayed on topic, so no harm done. :D

That is high praise. Thank you so much. I am very, very glad to hear that you liked it! :D

I am planning a sequel to Red Rain, yes. I can't promise that I will go through with it, but right now it's very likely. I have a good outline that I think I will end up pursuing. If I do write a sequel I'd love to have it out in September, a year after the original... But we'll see where God leads. :D

Thanks so much!

Well, there is that, but I didn't want to be cheeky, since I figured he was talking about a sequel to Red Rain. ;)

Now that "Published Works" has been moved to a more appropriate location under the Watchtower, I'm going to try and keep this thread better updated for y'all with new tidbits. :D A couple of things that might intrigue you...

I let them talk me into a podcast interview! o.O ;) One of the primary subjects was "Red Rain," and I discussed a lot of background information I haven't revealed anywhere else. If you want to know a lot about the development of Red Rain, you'll enjoy this. (Plus I talk about other writing topics and just generally be, you know, me.) http://holyworlds.posterous.com/holy-wo ... rey-hansen

Also, I was nominated for an up-and-coming literary award! If you've read my book and have time to leave a comment and support my nomination, I'd be grateful. http://vervelitawards.wordpress.com/201 ... omination/

Lastly but not leastly, I've decided to leave the entire audiobook up for free indefinitely. If you want to try my writing or share it with your friends - for free - you can find the audiobook here: http://www.aubreyhansen.com/p/audiobooks.html

The Verve Literary Awards has moved to a new (permanent) site, so all previous comments on the nomination were lost. If you're willing to repost your comment on my nomination, I'd be grateful! :D http://www.vervelitawards.com/2012/01/r ... ation.html

(And you might want to check out the site anyway. It looks awesome!)

Very cool. I've never heard of the award before, but it is still very flattering. :D

The Rainbow in the Storm- My Blog

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Works in progress:

The Diegosian Mark, 115,600 words (Preparing for Publication)
The Diegosian Rider, 121,400 words (Finished)
The Diegosian Warrior, 15,000 (In Progress)
