Terminus: * looks around room * Hmm...

Emuna: * sits down behind Avneet, where she can see but not be seen *

Avneet: Well, this should be interesting...

Brian: Interesting is the nice way to put it, I suppose...

Me: [Whacks self] Did not see this. My bad!

Chayn: [Lands with a heavy whump] Of course it is. You're lucky you saw it before you made one.

Me: Don't give me sass. Sass the villain, he's the one you're dueling.

Chayn: Fine, I shall 'sass' the villain. [Whips tail through the air and scratches the ground with her claws] Are you ready, wingless one?

Terminus: * smirks * Wingless? I am more than what I appear, weak dragon.

Chayn: [Roars with pleasure] Show me what you can do. [Takes to the air and circles around Terminus]

Terminus: * creates a sword of light * Are you going to be a cowardice dragon that hides in the skies from your enemy?

Chayn: [Swoops down and squirts liquid poison at Terminus, before landing behind him, lashing out her tail] I am no coward, villain. I will stay down here where your wingless self can reach me, if you wish.

Terminus: * dodges poison * Good. * creatures orb of light about his hand and throws it at Chayn *

Chayn: [Rears back, letting it pass under her] Now we're getting someone! Impress me.

Terminus: * creates a bow and arrow * Now why would I care to impress you? * shoots three arrows at Chayn's legs, arms, and head, followed shortly by another glowing orb *

Chayn: [Leaps over arrows, but her hide is hit by the orb] That hurt. [Spews more poison in Terminus's face]

Terminus: * dodges poison * * throws three more orbs at Chayn *

Chayn: [Snarls and forces wind toward Terminus, blowing the balls back his way (if that is acceptable)]

Terminus: * forces orbs upward so that they go above his head * * chuckles * Are you ready to surrender yet? I can do this all day.

Chayn: Ha, I've barely gotten started. You amuse me, little one. [Snaps her jaws forward at Terminus and brings her tail around from behind him]

Me: This is good stuff. I've never had to write out a dragon battling someone.

Terminus: * jumps up and turns in the air, landing behind Chayn's tail * * throws two orbs towards her open mouth * Well, I'm glad that one of us, at least, is amused.

Chayn: [Ducks her head, but her upper jaw is hit] Come now, surely you must derive some fun from hurting me? [Lashes tail back toward Terminus, swatting at him with her wing]

Terminus: * skillfully avoids tail by jumping up, but gets nicked by wing and falls to the ground, landing on his side * Why would I take pleasure in harming you? * throws two orbs, one at each of Chayn's wings *

Chayn: [Blows back orbs and swipes at the ground, digging up dirt and flinging it at Terminus] I don't know. I figured a man of your position in a story would be one to enjoy that kind of thing. But maybe I am stereotyping the poor villains.

Me: You're talking more than you are dueling.

Terminus: * forces orbs to fly above him * We are not all the same. * surrounds self in an orb, causing dirt to bounce off the surface * * creates a bow and arrow of light in his hand * Some villains are more than what they seem and sometimes the dark lord is actually the heroine. * shoots three arrows at Chayn *

Chayn: [Takes to the air and circles around, coming down on Terminus from the side, talons outstretched] A heroine? Are you referring to yourself, or are you accusing me of being a dark lord?

Terminus: I was referring to...no one in particular. * creates an orb around himself to protect from impact *

Chayn: [Spews poison again as she swings her tail around] You hesitate. Is there someone?

Terminus: * dodges poison * * gets hit by tail * * gets thrown a few feet away * No. I told you. I was referring to no one. * throws two orbs at Chayn and hurriedly stands up *

Avneet: * sings * You were referring to someone.

Me: * thwacks dragon * Shh. You're supposed to be watching silently.

Avneet: * chuckles *

Chayn: [Blocks one orb with her hard head, but staggers back and almost loses her footing at the second] I know what you told me. Doesn't mean it's true.

Me: Are you trying to make him angry?

Chayn: Now why would I make him angry?

Me:

Terminus: * glares * No matter who I referred to, it is irrelevant to this conversation. * throws three more orbs *

Me: Are you going to do anything else other than throw orbs???

Terminus: * shrugs * It is working, is it not?

Me:

Chayn: [Whacks one orb away with her tail, the other two hit her leg and her side. She stumbles, but flares her wings to keep her balance] Fine. [Spews more poison, but in short, rapid bursts, making them land all over]

Terminus: * dodges poison and captures a small amount in an orb * * holds orb in his hand calmly * Now...what does this do?

Chayn: It will eat away at your flesh if touched. Or if taken internally, it will eat its ways out. And it won't be quick and painless, either.

Terminus: * studies poison * Wow. That sounds really helpful. You know, we need one of you over in Chevl'Set...

Me: No we don't. We really don't.

Terminus: You're only saying that because you're all for the good guys winning.

Me: For good reason!

Terminus: * throws poison back at Chayn in orb *

Chayn: [Smiles, looking very relaxed] I would love to come visit your world. [Turns head slightly as the orb hits her. She winces on impact, but the poison simply drips down her neck. She slowly turns to face Terminus, her dark blue eyes glittering] I should let you know, General, I'm immune to poison. [Swipes at Terminus with her claws]

Terminus: You could only visit our world if we could find a passing between the four worlds.

Me: Don't remind me...

Terminus: Figures you would be immuned. You are spewing it out of your mouth, after all. * puts up shield of Luze to protect from claws, but gets scratched slightly on the arm * * grimaces * Do you file your claws into swords daily?

Chayn: Depends on how often I use them. Usually prey don't put up this much of a fight, so there's no need for claws. But from time to time I have need of them, then I make sure they are razor-sharp. [Swings tail at him]

Terminus: * narrowly avoids tail * I see... * throws two orbs, aiming for Chayn's head *

Chayn: [Ducks] Where did you learn to throw orbs? [Spraces at the ground again, throwing it towards Terminus]

Terminus: * dodges * Well, it's not entirely something they teach you in... Why can't I remember the name of my hometown?

Me: Because I can't remember it... * digs through documents * ah. Realta.

Terminus: Oh.

Me: Well, go ahead, finish your sentence.

Terminus: Not now. You've ruind the dramatic effect.

Me: Puerile character...

Chayn: I see. So you you acquire the ability nautrally? [Smiles] I fit makes you feel better, I don't remember my home... town?

Me: Maybe because you don't have one?

Chayn: That could be... [Spews poison all over the place]

Me:

Terminus: Yes, but you must also train to hone your skills so you may annihilate your enemies. * throws two more orbs * Of course, if your natural powers are weak originally. You will never become powerful enough. * vanishes * No hometown? I'm intrigued... * reappears again behind Chayn, with a sword of light in his hand. Slashes at her tail *

Chayn: [Blows orbs back] Of course, practice is always a good thing. But surely if your powers are weak to begin with, training them will lead to stronger abilities? [Lashes her tail as the sword comes down.] That hurts. But thankfully scales can take heavy damge. [Turns and snaps at Terminus's legs.] As far as I know, I have no hometown. I guess there may have been some lair at first.

Me: I'm workin' on that.

Terminus: There are weak Lumenians and there are strong Lumenians; no amount of training can change the abilities of their powers, only make them more easy to control. * vanishes again just before you turn * * reappears in front of you * Interesting...

Chayn: [Whips around, swinging her wing outward] So you give no chance of succes of becoming strong to those who are weaker?

Terminus: * crouches down to avoid wing * They are already strong, but it is weak to not know how to use your strength. * throws orb at Chayn and slices at her wing * Therefore, they grow more powerful as they train and learn more about their strength.

Chayn: [Is hit by the orb, making her step back] I see. So no one is truly weak, it all depends on whether or not he can use his powers properly. [Lifts wing out the way. Spews more poison] You are a feisty human.

Terminus: No Lumenian is weak. Though some have power that are stronger than others; they were born that way. * uses shield to stop poison * * runs underneath Chayn, slicing at her underbelly *

Me: * blinks * Somebody did that one time...it was either Gavin...or someone else's character.

Chayn: So there is no chance for Lumenian to become strong? [Roars in pain, rearing up. A long gash in her belly] That's it! [Flies upward, the breathes a poisonous gas, flapping her wings to spread it thickly]

Terminus: All Lumenians are strong. There is merely no chance of them becoming stronger. * surrounds self in an orb before the gas hits the ground, encasing him in fresh air * You think you can defeat me with mere poison?

Chayn: It was worth a shot. [Slams the ground with her tail, flinging up dust and debris, making it hard to see] What keeps them from becoming stronger?

Terminus: * stays in orb * Lumenian power is like your singing voice. It can not be made to sound vastly different, merely adjusted to sound better.

Chayn: I think I understand now. Lumenians are storng, it all depends on how they channel it. [Dust settles, and Chayn's gone]

Terminus: Precisely. * looks up at the sky, in search for Chayn * I wouldn't expect a dragon to be cowardice enough to hide from someone less than half their size.

Avneet: Oh, I've seen some very cowardice dragons in my day, Termy, so I woudln't put it above any large creature to hide from something even as small as a rat, like you.

Terminus: * glares *

Chayn: [Divebombs down on Terminus, snarling] I do not hide!
