Maengul are my evil creatures. They are pretty much morphs modified (not created) by Evillon. They are abnormally tall human-like creatures with peas for brains. They can look very different, but for the most part they have brown, pasty skin, orange eyes with black slits down the middle, and hairy limbs. They could be considered a "race" but due to their lack of a mind, I titled them as creatures. They can think and talk, but their rationality is limited to how much Evillon allows them to talk. They are basically evil and can not turn good. They are mostly war-like thugs made for killing elves, seers, men, centaurs & dragyns (although they are rarely successful with the last).

What do you think? Should I make them more or less intelligent? They are very new, so what characteristics could I give them to illustrate them a little better?

Are they only capable of doing what Evillon commands, or can they make decisions for themselves?

But they sound very evil!!! :)

They can only make decisions that abide by Evillon's commands. For instance, if he commands them to kill ten elves, they can decide which ones and how to kill them, but they still must kill them.

When you say peas for brains, do you mean literal peas, or are you using it as a figure of speech?

A figure of speech. They're really dense.

I think...and I haven't really developed this...that Eshyklah is going to create them as creatures with the same moral and intellectual capacity as Elves, Men, and Seers. I haven't completely figured this out, but after Evillon kills the boy, the "men" split into Men, Elves and Seers. Then I'll add Dragyns & Centaurs. Does that make sense?

Sounds very interesting... I like the division of the men by the way. You could write a very interesting story based off of the creation of the Dragyns and Centaurs in a particular need. You should probably come up with a reason why they were not created before, and then were introduced afterwards. Perhaps as guardians of certain aspects of the creation, or something? That would lend an air of believable fantasy, with that sacred breath of originality that gets you read and published. :)
