"One does not have to drink poison to know of its harm."

If you want any input, BushMaid, I'd be happy to read your article. I've read the Harry Potter series (please don't throw anything at me), and I have a pretty neutral position on the books; neutral as in I don't get riled up when it is discussed. I know that everyone is opinionated in some way, but I think that I'm pretty capable at giving a nearly-unbiased opinion on the series. I realize that "to read or not to read" is a very controversial subject and sometimes related to personal conviction. I'm not sure if you would need any reader input because of the angle you are taking with your article, but if you have need of me, I am at your disposal. :D

I would like to clarify something though. I agree with Philli in that Aussie will be unable to refute line by line instances because she has not read the books. However, a person does not have to read a book in order to formulate thoughts on it.

You and Philly are both right. I wasn't planning on nit-picking technicalities and specific points in the series. I would only be acting on here-say and one sided reviews. I plan on directing the article at the entire picture of the series. The main storyline is the fact that it's about a young wizard who practises sorcery and is the good guy.

Evening, thankyou very much for your offer. I'd be honoured if you read over it for me. As someone who has read the series, you will know where I'm off, or if I get something wrong. :)

You're safe Wren ;) I've read some too, so I'll take the first blow, if it comes to that.

I knew that would be the angle you took, Aussie, which is why I wasn't really concerned about you writing the article.
