Yes, I realize that this is a historical fiction character, but I completed this map for Seer's essence map challenge. I figured that a character from any genre of fiction would work. If you would rather me not post a historical fiction character and create another map of a fantasy character, however, I can.

I would also like to say that some of this is my impression of Janet. Some parts of Janet were not described directly, but I am trying to stay accurate to the book in what the author did describe.

Finally, I am still pretty new at essence mapping, so please feel free to rip this map apart and give me suggestions. One thing I noticed myself was I tend to use animals a lot, so could you try to give me some alternatives?

The map format/categories were mostly from Raven of the Wood's essence map.

Do we have a post somewhere that has every category/subcategory posted so we can go there and get them instead of from other peoples posts? I feel like I may be missing some, and perhaps am not even formatting this correctly.

I love love that book, and I love Janet! Good job on the essence map; I especially like the Anger metaphors.

Is Janet some one who is old, but seems very young, younger than twenty years? That is the concrete impression I had from the map.

From my recollection, she's about twelve or so in this story.

And, Cap'n, this is beautiful! I loved the story, and I think you did a great job capturing Janet's essence even from the rather limited description in the book. Your metaphors in particular were extremely striking. Makes me want to try one myself!
