Chayn: [Circling above the rescue posse] Do I still need to leave, or do we have healers here?

Seymour: Just a moment.

Aelynn: The sooner we find them the better.

Me: You're just bubbling with enthusiasm, aren't you?

Aelynn: The dragon's fault.

Chayn: I beg your pardon?

Aelynn: The other dragon. Not you.

Tynx: [Stares at Fallen, saying nothing. Then suddenly yips loudly and runs around Fallen and small circles, talking rapid fast and nothing he says is understandable]

Zurik: You would think he's gone insane.

Me: Takes one to know one.

Zurik: Why you little-!

Me: Where'd Mordir go?

Tesmir: Who knows. If we're lucky he fell off a cliff.

Tounon: Tesmir!

Fallen: *twitches* *brings a wall of light up all around her*

Dri: I have an idea. I'll just cast a spell that can heal anyone here if they need it. *chants ancient elvish words and heals the wounded people*

Chayn: [Carefully lands near Dri, lowering herself so he can reach Michael.]

Tynx: [Stops, staring] Oooh.... How do you do that? What's it made of?

Me: I can't seem to make him hyper enough.

Tounon: That's a bad thing?!

Me: [Goes hunting for her misplaced villain]

Tesmir: That's sad, author.

Me: You try keeping an eye on him, then.

Fallen: *grimaces* Magic.

Dri: You're welcome.

Aelynn: [Smiles with relief] I'm glad you're healed. Thank you for saving me.

Chayn: [Watches, tail swishing]

Tynx: [Gets closer to it] It's so pretty... Like you! [Tail wags furiously]

Fallen: *facepalm* I'm not pretty.

Michael: Only pretty faces can save pretty faces, there was no one else to save you; someone had to do it!

Svensteel: Now come Michael! We must hurry; get on your steed. We are nearing... the shnitzil.

Me: Shnitzil?

Svensteel: You came up with the name! Really? A german fried pork? For a bad guy name?

Me: Sorry! Hmm... the;

Svensteel: The mist?

Me: Hey! That's a rather boring, normal, cliche, on-the-nose name!

Svensteel: hey! You named it shnitzal... I have the right to name it whatever I want!

A proud looking man in a WW2 era American uniform enters, with a large pack, an M1 carbine, M1911, and something that resembles a carbine, but isn't. He had a proud and noble face, high cheek-bones, brown eyes, dark skin, and a strong jaw. This is Sergent Arthur Wohali.

Arthur: *stands at attention and salutes* Sergent Arthur Wohali, 1st Squadron, Omega Platoon, Phoenix Company, Project: Caliburn, reporting for duty! If you wish, you may call me Sarge.

Raven: Welcome, Sargent Arthur.
Carter: *nods at Sargent Arthur*
Raven: *looks around at the chaos, goes back a couple pages * Oh! And welcome *big breath* Jaidon, Celeste, Rolf, Mya, Alvera, Vorga, and Darva.

Arthur: *drops salute and stands at parade rest* Thank you for the welcome.

Me: Possibly a catch-up, from about page 125.

Seymour: Which way now, Sven?

Aelynn: [Tugs out the dagger and backs away near Seymour, shivering]

Me: Relationship development! I like it!

Tynx: [Looks up at Fallen, beginning to lose energetic Mountain Dew-ness] Aw, c'mon now. No need to insult yourself.

Me: What does Fallen look like, anyway?

Chayn: [Sniffs Arthur's guns] These are the strangest swords I have ever seen.

Seymour: A pleasure to meet you, Arthur.

Aelyn: Hello. [Smiles shyly]

Me: Uhh... well, there was a villain rebellion, a dodgeball game, duels between various characters, development for characters, and now some of the characters are off to rescue a young girl and a young man, Zaely (Bethy's character) and Ark (Leandra's character). If I'm missing something, ya'll can fill it in.

Tesmir: She's absentminded. Her villain's gone missing.

Me: I know! I can't find the rascal anywhere!!!

Carter: (@Arthur) No need to be so formal. We're all friends here. Relax.

Me: Um, they don't actually use Omega in the military phonetic alphabet... It's Oscar. The only Greek letters they use are Alpha and Delta...Anyways, my characters will be back in a bit. I'm still deciding who to let in.

Me: They use Omega in Caliburn. It's different from normal military, it uses energy harnessed from ley lines, barrows, and the Otherworld.

Arthur: *stands at ease* That information is classified. But for now, I won't tell if you don't. Nor are they swords, they fire projectiles and harness M.A.N.A. to accomplish things.

Fallen: I'm not pretty. *gestures to her eyes* These kind of ruin any beauty I might have had in the past.

Me: Fallen has shoulder-length (I think...it might have changed ) white hair with touches of gold. She also has very pale skin. Her eyes...can't be seen. They basically "glow" black, meaning that where her eyes are, all you see is a large round patch of blackness.

Me again: Also, going to say really quick that Ark's not young. He looks fairly young, but that's because he's immortal and doesn't age like a human.

Svensteel: We should be entering "the mist" soon!

Me: I still don't like that name... it's so on the nose!

Michael: 'Tisn't important! Let's go get that pretty little girl!

Me:



Michael: *Examines guns* No Chayn... these are quite obviously some sort of crossbow or bow...

Svensteel: And what on earth are you wearing?

Me: I'm sorry guys! He is in a different era. Sir Arthur? Are you fantasy in aways?

Arthur: I'm just a Sergent, not an officer. This is my uniform. Don't your soldiers wear one?

Me: He's from sort of a revisionist historical fiction; WW2 Sgt.Fury meets Harry Potter and Van Helsing.

Me: Operation: Caliburn is a fantasy story, just in a different era than the average story.

Sgt. Arthur Wohali: Sounds like the assault course at boot camp we had to run.

Chayn: [Tilts head] They do seem to be like a crossbow, but they shot fire. Are they modeled after dragons?

Me: Ever heard of curiosity killed the cat?

Chayn: No. Why?

Tynx: Curiosity's a murderer!

Chayn: I'm not a cat. But I'll be careful.

Tynx: It can probably kill dragons, too...

Me: Ignore him. He's still loopy.

Seymour: I'll be no help to anyone unarmed. Aris?

Me: [Drops his bladed staff by him] This time be more careful.

Seymour: [Picks up the Imari] Careful? I was doing what everyone else was doing, or would have done.

Chayn: You all are crazy. I don't think I'll ever understand humans. But come, the more we talk,m the further left behind we'll be.

Seymour and Aelynn: [Follow Sven and Michael]

Chayn: [Lifts into the air and follows from there]

Tynx: [Gently nudges Fallen's leg] Oh, pooh. They could be like sunglasses! You're eyes are just so dazzingly beautiful you have wear sunglasses to keep from blinding people.

Me: If she throttles you, I won't blame her.

Tynx: [Ignores] And besides, your hair is really pretty.

Cassie: I'm bored. Can I go do something dangerous?

Me: Do you want your brother to hunt me down?

Cassie: Umm.... y-

Me: Don't answer that.

*Michael peers at the horizan from the top of the small rise in the land*
*He comes down*
Michael: Looks like at least two miles 'till that clearing where the cave is. About a mile of quicksand and pits, another of this real weird shadowy stuff...

Svensteel: Well let's all get started.

*The company walk for a few minutes, then the ground starts to become wet and soggy*

Michael: *looks down in pack* Did anyone bring food?

Svensteel: I didn't... And it is getting quite late, we might want to stop and camp down here? Or we could go through the night... I don't know if trooping through here in the night would be a good idea; all the pits and quicksand, not to mention dangerous animals and such. What do all of you think about setting up camp and waiting for the sun to rise to keep going. If they meant to kill Zaely and Ark; they'd already be dead.

Fallen: *facepalm* What's wrong with you, anyway? Why are you even trying to compliment me?

Arthur: *reaches the rest* I have K-rations, but we'll have to eat sparsely, but I might be able to rustle up up swamp roots. Or I could just the W.A.N.D. and make a meal. Nor do I think they are based on dragons, but they were invented in China, so who knows?

Michael: What is... China?

Me: Ahh, it's a country.

Michael: Aha! *grabs the K-food* *munches* What is this stuff?

Arthur: Highly processed, calorie rich, junk. It isn't healthy, but it will keep you alive. At least, I think it will.

*eye twitches*

*melts away into a puddle of black acid*

[disembodied voice] I may just wait a bit and come back later [/disembodied voice]

Michael: *munches happily* I have no clue what this stuff is... It tastes weird. Like someone put in a bunch of dirt... But it's food! So... *takes another bite*

Svensteel: *equely passes around rations of food*
Ok men... and women: We are need to get some things done. Me and Arthur will go get us water from the river, Chayn and Seymour get some firewood, Fallen... Fallen are you with us? If you are; go down to the river and see if you can do some fishing before nightfall *hands fishing rods.*
And Aelynn and Michael go set up the tents!



Me: It moves pretty fast, doesn't it? Sorry Caleb!

Arthur: That taste is dirt. It needs it to be chewed. Or it comes in through the tin. *heads toward river, W.A.N.D. held ready*

Me: Nope, Fallen didn't go along on the rescue. She has no opinion of Zaely and her opinion of Ark is...complicated. So she stayed behind.

Arthur: *looks at bucket* My helmet works better.

Tynx: Why not? You're fun, despite being a villain.

Me:

Chayn: [Flies in circles] I don't feel comfortable about waiting, but then again, I don't know what it's like walking everywhere.

Me: You can stop that now. Just go find the firewood with Seymour.

Chayn: [Flies off]

Seymour: [Looks at Michael seriously] Take care of her.

Aelynn: I'll be fine, Prince. I'll be able to learn how to set up a tent. [Looks uneasily at the food]

Seymour and Chayn: [Come back with firewood and drop it near camp]

Chayn: [Settles down, something large and limp hanging from her mouth]

Seymour: She went hunting.

Chayn: As appealing as the food Sarge Arthur brought looks, I'll let you all eat it. I'd need more than a small ration.

Aelynn: [Watches Seymour light a fire] So we still have to go through the quicksand and such?

Arthur: *peers at K-rations* It looks appetizing?

Fallen: *massages her forehead* I do not understand you.

Alianna: * hugs Fallen *

Me: What-how?... WHEN DID YOU GET HERE?? * tears Ally off Fallen *

Alianna: She looked like she needed a hug...

Me: Leave! Now!

Alianna: * begins to cry and runs to Fallen * My author hurt my feelings!! * clings to Fallen *

Me: * palmface *

Fallen: *jaw drops* Wh-wha...what are you doing?

Alianna: * sniffles and hugs Fallen tighter * I'm crying because my author hurt my feelings, Miss Fallen!

Me: Oh for the love of Ela-

Miri: Shh! I'm enjoying this.

Me:

Fallen: *starts to pry Alianna off of her* So? Hurt her feelings back!

Alianna: * clings tighter to Fallen * Hurt her...back?

Me: Dimitri isn't going to like this...

Miri: Shush!

Fallen: *grimaces and tries to shove Alianna away* Yes! Fight back! Don't just go running off and crying!

Raven: Alli....you don't hug villains. They could hurt you!

Alianna: * is shoved away * * lip quivers * B-b-but... I don't know how to fight back...

Me: Dimitri is going to shoot me...

Miri: Haha, call me for that, k?

Me: You don't even know what a phone is!

Alianna: (@Raven) But what if she needs a hug and then she won't be a villain anymore?
