Do you have any pets? My family has two Parakeets and one cat.


If you have a pet that I didn't mention just post it below.

We have three dogs; Heidi, Bonnie and Pippin.

I have three dogs; two Chihuahuas and one Maltese. There is a dog for every girl in my house...and I never wanted a dog.

I have a fish. Only pet I've ever had.

Oo! Fishes! I used to own a fish! He was an awesome pet...really quiet, listened to me ramble about my books for hours. Best. Fish. Ever.

I have a parakeet named Vanhelsing.

A dog.

Oh, and two cats.

Nine chickens.

And a fish.

Wow. Elly! My family is moving and we are going to get chickens and goats. My dad said that we can get a Border Collie in this house though. I LOVE LOVE LOVE dogs. I want to train it awesome tricks.

No, I love dogs! I just don't like owning them, per say...too much work for me.

I have in my household a slew of dogs, cats with kittens, a flock of parakeets, fishes of unusual size, and about ten siblings.

Let me see. Currently I own no pets. Previously, I (or my family as a whole) owned a fish and a cat at one house, a fish at another, and a dog, eleven cats, three fish, and a hamster at another. But only the first two fish and the dog have ever been 'mine,' per say. I liked my dog...she was a mutt and annoyed everyone, including me, but I liked her. (Rarely use that smiley)

Currently what pets do I have? Three cats, a dog, and seven puppies.

I have a male cat named Sammy. He is a mixed breed, but is mostly a Maine Coon. Sammy is black, brown, and tan with green eyes. He is twelve years old but still plays like a kitten. Sammy can even do tricks like a dog! To me, he will always be the best cat ever.

I have eight cats:

Midnight (indoor male)
Shurbert (outdoor male)
Caddie (female)
Jezabelle (female)
Annabelle/Grandma (female, mother of following 3 cats)
Elsie (female)
Angel Bear (female)
Belle (female)

-Midnight is the only cat who is unrelated to the others. I could go into the cat family tree, but I'll spare you.

Nine chickens:

Titus (our super tall rooster)
Little Miss Sunshine/Sunny (hen)
Ruthie (hen)
Smidge (hen)
Crier (hen)
Goldie (hen)
Rumpy (hen) Pardon the name, we got her when she was molting and had no tail feathers.
Homely (hen)
No Name #1 (we have four gold comet hens and these two were the ones we could never tell apart. Sunny and Ruthie were the lucky ones.)
No Name #2 (refer to above)

-I love out chickens! Titus, Sunny, Ruthie, No Name #1, and No Name #2 are our original chickens before we bought the other ones a couple months ago. We hand raised the first batch and they follow us around the yard! It's so cute! I should stop gushing about them now...I know some people don'e quite share my enthusiasm about cats and chickens...except maybe Elly.

I have three rabbits (sometimes more since we raise rabbits to eat ) and a dog, although the dog belongs to the whole family, not me specifically.

I have a cat called Sir Tristan (he just pitched up at our place as a kitten and couldn't find his owners), a bird called Pippin (also an orphan we rescued) and a gold fish called Gnome Chomsky - he's this tiny thing, but I wanted to give him some kind of name to do with linguistics.

Wish I could get another cat - but not enough space really

@Marshwriter: I think Sir Tristan is a cute name for a cat.

@Elanor: Yeah, most of them are outdoors to keep the gopher population down. Thanks for the compliment on the names! It was a group effort on our part. (Mom, Caldera, and myself anyways. Dad isn't a cat person. He's very tolerant of our cat love.) ^^

@Eruheran: We named him Shurbert because he's orange like the ice cream.

-1 Dog (Buddy- he's a beagle mix, I suspect also pit bull.. )
I used to have a rabbit (Kitty) a chinchilla (Cici) and two mice (Cornflower and Mariel) as well as a gerbil (Pogo).
We also used to own fish a lot but I only remember my last one's name. (Phantom- he was a pretty black beta with red and white fins.)

Indeed, when I first got him I debated between Dibl and the name of Kale's first dragon (it slipped my mind...) And he has actually lived up to his name as a humor dragon.

We currently have:
1 Cat (Miss Kitty [I know, not very original ])
1 Dog (Hansel)
3 Goats (Cookie, Coco, and Bella)
Unknown number of chickens (we used to have 5, but acquired more recently)
5 Rabbits (Oreo, Jasmine, and new arrivals )

That's about it. Though, at one time, we had about 60 dogs. My dad was running a kennel. They were all ours and they were so loud... That didn't last for long. Ahh, memories...

60 dogs tops me.

Poor thing! Although it also makes me wonder... Am I the only one that buries my fish when they die? I can't bear the thought of flushing them!

About ten years ago I had a whole tank with the fish named after about seven characters from Romeo and Juliet, including a slug named Mercutio, so "pen" and "ink" is not strange to me at all.
What was really freaky, was that the poor fish (and slug) actually died in the same order as in the play... (Though none committed suicide or stabbed each other as far as I could tell. It was natural causes.)

Ps. Yes, I do love Shakespeare My second grade teacher was freaked out when she asked us which movie we want to watch in class and I said Zeffirelli's "Romeo and Juliet" while the rest of the class chose "Tom and Jerry". I think my weirdness was sealed on that day...

I has a cat. I also has a Holland Lop.

I used to have rabbits, two horses, a hundred--it seemed--cats and a dog.

Now I have one dog and one cat. It's kind of lonely around my house at times. XD The dog's name is O'Reilly and the cat's name is Sugar. (both girls)

Since the first time I posted on this thread, I don't have rabbits anymore, but I have another dog, and have since last July. Working on convincing my parents to let me have a third dog, but it isn't going so well. XD Every time I bring up yet another type of dog I want to own, they make comments like "We'll come visit you and your dog pack sometimes."

Haha! We have three dogs, and were recently contemplating getting a fourth. But my older sister absolutely dug her heels in, and she insisted she would move out the moment we got another dog.

*wishes for more cats* At least one more, I'm not terribly fond of when half a dozen show up on our doorstep.

Since we moved, we now have two horses, two dogs, four cats and two goats.

And me! I love our eight chickens and cat. Our cat is Autumn, an orange tabby.

I have a dog, called "Buddy". He's black and white, and really small. I honestly have no idea what breed he is. I also share two dairy goats with my sister.
