Beduuin turns his elbow and puts it on the ground, negating the twist factor (doing an armbar with one arm is ridiculously hard). He catches Griffin's wrist and shoots his other arm over Griffin's head, locking him down against his neck and securing the arm with both his hands. He begins to slowly slide his arms back, raising Griffin's elbow in the same motion, hyperextending the joints.

Terminus: *grimaces but doesn't let go* How nice. *bends the blade downward*

Zurik: Not Cassie. I'll deal with her later. Kaida and Alexis, and now Niarah, are the ones who need to be dealt with. [Ducks. The ground explodes again under Niarah] I don't like fighting women, but you three could possibly be the exception!

Suragore: [Flares wings slightly, staring straight ahead]

Mordir: [Pulls his leg back, twists over onto his back and slams his free foot into Ashrai] I'll only quit when I stop pulling breath.

Me: And even then, I wouldn't be surprised if he still fought.

Aris: That's gross.

Rune: Wouldn't put it past him.

Tounon: [Shifts, a little nervous]

Tesmir: This, is going to be so cool.

Aelynn: [Smiles] Sure. Where would be a good place?

Seymour: Mordir, why don't you just stop and join the race?

Tynx: Hmm, so... you don't know your own powers, no wonder you quit- oh, I mean indirectly quit.

Zurik: [The ground explodes again in front of Kaida] Nor do I, my dear. Let me tell you, I have trained under many a magic wielder. Many of whom of died in the process. I have achieved greatness you can only dream of. This child you seem so intent on protecting is an annoying fly in my path to power. As is her brother, but as he is not here, she will suffice.

Cassie: [Looks at Hetsila] What other kinds of clinches are there? Maybe I can use one on Zurik. He's soooo annoying. A 'fly in my path'.

Seymour: [Laughs] She certainly has a quick tongue.

Zurik: [Looks at Roadash] How many times must I tell you? Stand down! [Flings a large piece of unearthed rock at him]

Me: Development! Yes! This is great!

Mordir: Ashrai, can we swap authors? Ours is a little weird. [Gets hit by a dictionary]

Me: I heard that.

Ashrai - I'd be delighted to switch authors . . .

Me - . . . Actually, that isn't a bad idea. Character Swap, maybe I'll put him up.

Niarah - Sounds like a sales auction (Flips out of the way, striking at Zurik as she flies by) You have to do better than that. (Stabs with her staff)

Ashrai - (Stumbles, but recovers his balance. Leaps over Mordir, then whirls and stabs downwards with the blade)

Ryan - GO!

Silver - (Surges forward in the water, swiftly gliding like an otter)

Ember - C'mon! (Flaps his wings to pick up speed) Maybe we can skim.

Sylvia - (Clinging to Erronys) Lets show 'em.

Me - I have no idea how this is going to work as far as winners go . . .

Thysal - (Falls asleep)

Fallen: Push me hard enough and you may learn more than you'd like. *sends a wall of light at Tynx and beams of light in every direction he could dodge to*


Alaric: *takes a deep breath, his eyes wide*

Alexis: (@Terminus) Yes, very. It has been in my family for generations. *kicks Terminus's wrist again* *slides her sword farther into Terminus's hand so that he is holding the strong part near the hilt*

Terminus: Does it have any special power that makes it-

Brian: Special?

Terminus: I was going to to use a synonym!

Brian: Glad I annoyed you then.

Terminus:(@Alexis) *grimaces and lets go of sword* You're annoying, you know that? *rubs wrist* *creates an orb in his left hand and throws it at Alexis*

Alexis: Powers? Perhaps. *quickly sidesteps orb, simultaneously thrusting at Terminus*

Terminus: A little bit of a vague answer, don't you think? *dodges thrust and throws two more orbs at Alexis*

Alexis: Perhaps. *ducks, slicing at Terminus's legs*
Me:

Terminus: *jumps up to avoid slice* *creates sword in his right hand* You need to widen your vocabulary... Perhaps isn't a valid answer for every question. *slices at Alexis' neck*

Alexis: Perhaps. *chuckles* I have a wide vocabulary...when I choose to use it. *blocks and pushes Terminus's sword towards the ground with her own*

Me: *thinks it isn't wise to get into a sword fight with one of Zoe's characters*

Terminus: *pauses* Uh....why?

Me: Because I can't sword fight to save your life.

Brian:(@Terminus) Don't pause...it gives her an opening to cut you in two...on second thought...pause.

Terminus:(@Brian) *frowns* Annoying boy. (@Alexis) -Me: *has no idea how to solve that* *sword disappears* You should choose to use it more or someone might mistake you for a dumb child.

Me: (@Rae) You were doing fine!

Alexis: *laughs* But perhaps it gives me an advantage to know more than I show. *eyes twinkle* *circles Terminus*

Me: Haha, thanks, but I did only do two things with the sword.

Terminus: *watches Alexis* Are you...trying to make me dizzy? *sword reappears* *thrusts at Alexis' chest*

Alexis: *laughs* Maybe. *steps backwards and blocks (the tip of the sword is pointed down and she's pushing his sword to the side with the strong part of hers)*

Terminus: *creates sword in his free hand and slices at Alexis' arm*

Me: Two swords!....en dos swordos.

Brian: Swordos?

Me: I don't know how to say sword in Spanish!

Brian:

Alexis: (@Rae) Espada.
Me: Yes, I had to use Google Translate for that, but she technically would have known.

Alexis: (@Terminus) You want to play that way, do you? *unfurls the whip hanging at her waist* *uses it to hit Terminus's wrist* *lunges at Terminus with her sword a split second after*
Me: I'm in totally new territory now...never tried this before.

Me: Espada! Imma use that! *loves that word* *walks around saying "Espada"*

Me: *dies* *revives so I can think of legitimate reaction to that* *dies again*

Terminus: *pulls wrist back and swords disintegrate* What is your cruel obsession with hitting my wrists?! *looks at Bethany* AND WHY DO I HAVE PATHETICALLY WEAK WRISTS?!?!

Me: Hehe...that my be due to my pathetically weak wrists.

Terminus: *narrowly dodges sword* *kicks Alexis' knee, trying to regain some control of his powers*

Me: DEVELOPMENT!

Alexis: *shrugs* It works, doesn't it? And you call me cruel?! *stumbles backwards from the kick* *flicks whip so that it curls tightly around Terminus's leg* *pulls, trying to pull him off balance*

Terminus: *creates sword and cuts whip (which may not be possible with a normal sword...but let's just say it's cobha)* I'm supposed to be cruel, though!

Alexis: And I'm supposed to stay alive. *pulls what remains of the whip (which is most of it) back* *circles Terminus, waiting*

Terminus: AGAIN WITH THE CIRCLING!! Are you half shark?

Me: She isn't Inesdar.

Terminus: I was making no reference to him.

Me: And I was.

Terminus: *lunges at Alexis*

Me: *chuckles*

Alexis: *blocks and steps to the side* *lunges, jumping in*

Terminus: *dodges sword, but arm gets nicked by it* Ow!

Alexis: *resumes circling, waiting*

Devon: *stumbles backwards, releasing Rinifer's wrist*

Levi: *pushes forward but is in no hurry to lead*

Victor: *bursts forth for all he's worth*

Brand: *let's go of the rock and spreads his wings*

Erronys: *slides his head under and shoots forward with powerful wing strokes and movements like a great whale*

Kaida: *gets up on one knee and then the other, swiftly thrusting her blade with great force at Zurik's arm pit/side*

Devon: *tries to block, but misses, falling back more*

Terminus: Thank you, that makes cutting your head off that much easier. *swings sword at Alexis' neck*

Me: Violent...you know...I need a violent character that isn't a bad guy... *develops unnamed character a little more*

Alexis: You're welcome. *blocks, shoving Terminus's sword towards the ground* *quickly brings her sword up to rest the tip at the base of his neck*

*gives up* I might have to just wait until after Monday to get back in this... And I won't forget the story.

Me: *chuckles* Sorry, Shawn.

Terminus: *sighs* So...I can't do anything now, huh?

Me: Nope!

Terminus: Which means I'm good as dead, huh?

Me: Yup!

Terminus: You don't feel like speaking in more one syllable today, do you?

Me: Nope!

Terminus: *disappears*

Me: O....wasn't expecting him to do that one... *ponders*

Rune: If she starts crying, I'm gonna kill him.

Seymour: With any luck, Ashrai'll finish him.

Mordir: [Rolls off the beam, but holds on with one hand and swings himself back up, aiming his feet at Ashrai's head before landing] I really don't care what my author feels at the moment.

Suragore and Rowen: [Leap forward. Rowen struggles to swim, but gradually finds a system that works. Suragore has an easier time, and is keeping up]

Me: Shoulda maybe mentioned Suragore's a good swimmer.

Rowen: I feel a bit out of place in the water.

Tynx: Oh, I hadn't pushed you far enough? [Fires the large ball of light at the light wall, then shifts into an insect and buries himself]

Me: OK, new rule: Tynx, you have a limit of what you can shift into, and how many times you can shift.

Tynx: [Muffled] Why?!

Me: Because you can't keep on constantly dodging her attacks by burying yourself.

Zurik: My patience is worn out! [The ground explodes all around him, and ripples away from] I will show you that my power is not one to be mocked!

Me: Now you're sounding like Mordir. Stop it.

Tesmir: I'm hangin' on! This is awesome!!!

Rune: Well, at least he's not getting into trouble.

Aelynn: [Smiles and follows Amos] OK! [CLimbs carefully onto the rock] Who do you think will win?

Seymour: [Follows the two, but stays at a distance]

Zurik: [Turns to Kaida] Protection? I only need protection when I face someone strong-

Zurik: I choose not to answer that. [Turns and flings a boulder Rodash's way] I told you to stay down!

Cassie: OK. That's pretty cool. [Looks at Zurik] But, he was gonna kill Rodash, then I threw a rock at him, and he was gonna come get me! But the girls stopped him. ^^

Zurik: Don't think I haven't forgotten about you, girl. [Slams his sword into Kaida's] You're that fiery lass who fought Meriak, aren't you?

Me: OK, I am not remembering to find Mark, so he'll leave. Maybe Chase'll come back later.

Alexis: *whirls around, her whip preceding her, so that is wraps itself around Terminus's neck and unwraps again*

Me:

Terminus: *bites his lip and backs away some* Well, somebody gets edgy when startled...

Amos: Probably Erroy, he's got the most mass, that works the best for down stream.

Kaida: Excuse me, was I speaking of protection or protecting? Do try to keep up with me. *parries and whips her leg around and kicks the back of Zurik's knee, going in with another thrust at the same time* The one with the Napoleon complex and fear problems, yeah that was me.

Fallen: Trust me. You don't want to see me when I'm really angry. *waits for Tynx to reappear*

Alexis: I wasn't startled. I just didn't want to turn around to a sword at my neck. *waits*

Terminus: Reasonable, very few people actually like having swords at their necks...

Me: Nobody likes having swords at their necks!

Terminus: *ignores Me* *throws orb at Alexis*

Me: Ignore me he does... *thwacks Terminus with a dictionary*

Terminus: Ow!

Alexis: Quite reasonable. *sidesteps, letting the orb fly past*
