Screams drifted into the child's room.

The eight rolled into the pocket.

Eight in the pocket. Bet lost.

This one is interesting since the screams didn't come from the bedroom. Intriguing...

It soared into flight without wings.

The sword fell to the ground.

The mirror world engulfed the girl.

Cold and lost, the ninja wept.

This is sort of a scene from a story I'm working on.

No oxygen. He smiled, breathing anyway.

"No," she whispered, "You're too late."

Screaming souls denied the peaceful atmosphere.

"You're the enemy!"
He smiled.
Bang!

Her eyes narrowed, knowing the answer.

Ooh, yeah. Never thought of sci-fi. :D

The world dwarfed compared to him.

Centuries old, he was still young.

The rock moved, revealing hidden gold.

His fingers grew claws: the curse.

A tale told for every night.

I haven't read the book actually; read the comic and the movie, but not the book.

I wasn't sure what I meant writing that one. :) Maybe he was a giant...

I haven't read the book or seen the movie, but I'm figuring the movie must have been a lot different from the book. The review I read of the movie made it sound like a more accurate title for the movie would have been The Multitudinous Fornication of Benjamin Button.
