Griffin: (as Beduun grabs his arm, Griffin kicks the back of his head as he flies over, rolling as he hits the ground, picking up his sword and leaping up, spinning with the blade outstretched)

He can't kick Bëduuin at any point in the move, fyi, because he is never in range.

As Griffin attempts to roll away, Bëduuin swings a leg over his body, sliding into a mount, hooking his legs into Griffin's, preventing him from bucking him off. His weight drives into Griffin's chest, his arms maintain his position.

Wow, I am 12+ pages behind. I need a recap...

Me: I think the gist of those 12+ pages would be me, Aemi, and Raven of the Wood having our characters battle. You didn't miss much.

Brian: Hey! Cut neck and stabbed leg here!

Me: What happened to 'I'm fine.'?

Brian: I got bored of being quiet...

Me: My characters have no attention spans.

Gavin: We would be very unproductive.

Me: *scowls at Gavin* Okay, one more sass from you and I'm making you leave.

Emuna: You have to teach me how to do that.

Alexis: (@Emuna) Just as long as the wrong character doesn't figure out how to do it. Authoress accidentally showed Devon where it was.

Devon: *malevolent grin*

Emuna: The only wrong character in here is Terminus and he is too dumb to figure things like that out.

Terminus: No longer cowering in the corner I see, Emuna.

Emuna: *glares at Terminus*

Me: Haha...playing with character's boldness is a bad habit of mine...

Devon: (@Emuna) I...don't think he's dumb.

Emuna: Well...he...he is dumb and cruel!

Me: That does sound a little bit more like her as opposed to frightened child I've had for the past three plus pages...

Devon: *shrugs*

Terminus: *scoffs* He just shrugs...I say kill her.

Emuna: You can't kill me!

Emuna: Two reasons; Beth said you couldn't touch me Brian or Gavin-

Emuna: And I'm her favorite.

Devon: *glumly* My author says I can't kill other people's girl characters.

Terminus: Villain like?

Terminus: Why not?!

Fallen: (@Devon and Terminus) I could kill her for you. I'm bored.

Ark: ELIORA!

Ark: Control? It's never had anything to do with...*whirls around to look at me* Are you going to let her do this?!

Me: I don't know...I want to see how the other characters react first. Besides, it'd give me something to do with all of you.

Devon: *disappointed that Terminus left* *eyes light up at Fallen's words* You could kill her for me! *points to Alexis*
Alexis: Of course, kill me. I've stopped fighting, I have no way to defend myself. It's not fair, but kill me. But when are villains ever fair?

Me: I'm working on it....it might take a while.

Brian: *draws sword and glares at Fallen* Don't you dare touch her.

Me: Why are my characters getting into fights these days?

Me: I wonder that I about Devon, too. *still working on PM*

Fallen: (@Brian) Do you really think you can kill me with that, boy? (@Devon) Perhaps...although if she truly has no way to defend herself, no. I want entertainment, not slaughter.

Ark: If you so much as try to hurt either of them, I'll fight you myself.

Fallen:

Devon: She can defend herself well, she's just hung up her sword. *glares at Alexis* Coward.

Me: (@Leandra) I'm using her now as she would be at the end of her book. If you would like Fallen to duel her, I can put her near the beginning, where she does fight.

Brian: *looks at sword* What? With this thing? No, you're right I would probably lose...

Me: I'm fairly certain Ark won't let her duel anyone at this point, and particularly not a girl. So no worries.

Fallen: (@Devon) *shrugs* The inability or the unwillingness to fight are the same thing. It isn't worth my time. (@Brian) I'm pleased you recognize your inadequacy.

Devon: *disappointed in Fallen*

Fallen: *couldn't care less what Devon thinks of her*

Devon: *starts to be sad, but remembers what Terminus said* *doesn't care about Fallen, either*

Brian: Certainly... *mumbles under his breath* Not that I would need a sword to kill you...

*Winifrede jumps in and waves* - Hello!

Athindel - Winnie, I told you, no CI for you yet! *Grabs her wrist and pulls her away*

Malladryl - Let her go Atti! She can come if she wants!

Cirindiel - Alright, thats enough!

*Atti looks at him threateningly* - You have no right to boss me around!

Cirindiel - I have as much right as you do, now lets go.

*Winnie shrugs and follows behind Malladryl, Atti looks around* "Later" *He says giving a small wave*

Alexis: *waves* Hello, new people!

Devon: Are any of them villains? *hopeful look*

Me: Fallen can't be killed...part of why Ark is determined to keep her from fighting anyone but him.

Dai: Welcome to the craziness.

Fallen: *leans against a tree and ignores everyone*

Ark: *sighs and sits down*

Me: (@Leandra) That's ok. She can still fight if she wants.

Me: (@Raven) I expect she will at some point. It should be interesting.

Me: Wait, does that mean all of Blackwolf's people left?

There's so much happening here so fast... I don't even know whose court the ball is in for my duels.

Melany: And we all have nothing to say because we don't know what's going on. Hi Blackwolf's people, if you're still here...

Me: Oh, I thought Griffin flew over Beduun's head, but you meant Beduun flipped Griffin over. Okay, sorry 'bout that.

Griffin: (flips both of them over landing so that Griffin is on top, but he leaps away and grabs his sword, quickly turning before Beduun can attack him and slashing at Beduun's right side, then bringing his sword up towards Beduun's chest, but also sticking his leg under Beduun's and pulling it back under, causing him to fall. Griffin comes down on top of Beduun, pinning down Beduun chest with one leg and balancing with the other. One arm holds down Beduun's sword arm and the other holds his sword inches from Beduun's neck)

Me: Wheww! That took a long time to type!

No problem. Wrestling is a bit harder to narrate.

Bëduuín hooks Griffin's leg and swims inside his arms, catching himself so that he does not flip over. His other arm snags the pommel of Griffin's sword and flings it well out of reach.

Sorry, flipping Bëduuín over like that is practically the whole duel in itself.

Me: If anyone said anything to me I didn't see while skimming through pages please repeat.

Seymour: Breathe.

Mordir: [Rolls eyes] Lazy. [To Pirzak] Alright. We'll hang out here until you're ready. [Doesn't know quite why]

Me: Hey, I didn't read the spoiler for Ciela. Only the one that concerned you.

Mordir: Would it kill you to click, so I'm not left in the dark?

Me: Grr... fine. Be right back. [Marches off]

Orrun: You really shouldn't bug her, at least not today.

Mordir: Why not? I do it everyday.

Orrun: You know why you shouldn't. Her day didn't exactly start out all sunshine and roses.

Mordir: [Frowns] Oh yeah...

Rune: [To Riniel] Both balls are in your court, I believe.

Me: I'm back.

Rowen: [Unfurls his goldenrod wings, flaming the Suragore to keep him distracted] Hop on.

Chayn: [Roars with pleasure and leaps into the sky. Tilts to the right and starts spiraling lower, then shoots back up]

Aris: [Looks at Bethany's, Raven's, and Aemi's characters] Alright, who's gotten themselves slashed, broken, bruised, cut, mutilated, or killed?

Aris: Wanna make sure I don't leave any injury out.

Seymour: Talk was dominated by the younger quarrelers.

Aris: [Looks at Brian] Sit. Where does it hurt?

Mordir: Well, she had a bad day this morning-

Me: Still am. Kind of. Just as much as this morning.

Seymour: Ignore him. He doesn't know what he's talking about.

Mordir: I do too! Losing a pet is rough! Six to seven years of having it-

Gavin: *glares at Seymour* Don't touch my hair.

Me: Oh...well ten seconds ago you wanted him to talk and now you're trying to kill him with your mind...really, Gavin....

Gavin: He touched my hair! I mean come on!

Me: Whatever.

Gavin: What? Do you like it when people mess with your hair.

Me: Aww....loosing pets isn't fun... *makes another MC appear, he has blond hair and really blue eyes...* Yo, David! Cheer Lady Aris Lillylight up!

David: Pardon, ma'am?

Me: CHEER HER UP OR I'LL WHACK YOU WITH LOTR!

David: Alright, alright. Uhh....what?

Me: *head/desk*

Devon: (@Aris) My forearm is broken. *glares at Brian*

Alexis: Hello, David! *waves happily*

Devon: *huffs and stalks off*

Me - I got the PM from Pirzak, so everything should be taken care of.

Thysal - Wait, what?

Me - You'll be dealt with. Ashrai! (whispers something to him)

Ashrai - You're kidding.

Me - Nope.

Niarah - What's going on?

Ashrai - But . . . Fine. (Vanishes into the shadows)

Thysal - What was that about?

Me - (Innocent look) Nothing. Sylvia! Ember!

Ember - (Squirms out of Klasina's arms and runs over)

Sylvia - Yes?

Me - I'm developing you two years into the future. (Waves a pencil, and both of them vanish)

Ashrai - (Suddenly pounces on Thysal's back, flicking a tiny metal dart so that it strikes the tender skin beneath her chin)

Thysal - Whaaa . . . (Sways, then falls to the ground, asleep)

Ashrai - (Leaps clear, then strides off into the shadows again)

Me - Voila.

(Sylvia and Ember reenter, accompanied by Silver and Ryan. Ember is now a magnificent full grown dragon, all black with gold tracings along his scales more vibrant than before. His eyes are still huge and golden, and he looks very protective. Silver is tall, with shimmering pale scales, and a fin-like crest along the back of her neck. Sylvia is eighteen, and Ryan is one year older)

Sylvia - That was weird.

Ember - (Snorts, glancing around at the other dragons) Very.

Zanya - He can speak!

Silver - Well, yeah. He's very vocal some days.

Ember - (says nothing)

Me: I'm backing up with Julian and Alexis to match where I am in the book. So Alexis now fights, and Julian's less scared and unattached to Devon.

Devon: *eagerly* Is the rebellion starting? *grumbles* Wonderful time for Terminus to be gone.
