Julian: I am. *sad look* I'm scared of everything. *hangs head, making the dagger bite into his neck* Ouch!

Skylar: *jumps away quickly* *massages his arm* *leaves without a backward glance*

Skylar: *walks over to Devon* *expertly re-locates his shoulder and wrist*
Devon: You forgot about my ribs.
Skylar: *chuckles dryly* I can't unbreak ribs. You'll just have to wait for those to heal themselves.

Me: *chuckles* He's definitely not a good guy. He's my main villain.

Me: Brian dislocated his wrist and shoulder? Wow...

Gavin: Uhh...you wrote it! You should know these things!

Me: I know, I just forgot already. I need to work on that.

Gavin: Seriously...I wouldn't be surprised if you forgot the whole storyline of your book.

Me: I am not that forgetful!

Gavin: Sure...

Emuna: You are pretty forgetful.

Brian: *nods, grimaces, and stops nodding*

Me: All three of you think I'm forgetful?...seriously?

Gavin, Brian, and Emuna: Yup!

Me: I am not forgetfu-....umm...what was I going to say?

Tounon: [Follows, bringing his sword down vertically, and purposely misses, then drives his sword up and under Elanhil's]

Me: I will figure this out...

Meriak: [Springs forward, snarling, arms outstretched]

Me: I don't really know how to describe her ability. Meriak just naturally... uh, emit a fearful atmosphere, in a way?

Cassie: [Stops bouncing and thinks] Um... at a higher elevation than your opponent, and with your sword in front of you, or maybe a shield.

Chayn: [Smiles sleepily]

Tynx: [Sniffs Shawn's hand] Feeling better?

Me: I'll repost Rune's actions.

Rune: [Starts forward at Tesmir, slicing diagonally downward, but misses, and uses his speed and brings his sword up at Tanner in an upward diagonal slash]

Tesmir: [Jumps back in alarm] Fair warning would be nice.

Rune: You weren't paying attention. Your enemy won't give 'fair warning'. When you're dueling someone who wants to kill you, they won't play fair.

Tesmir: But you're not trying to kill us.

Me: So... who are the heroes out of your characters, Raven? I skimmed through the duels between them and Bethany's, so I didn't pick that part up. Except that Devon's a bad guy.

Mordir: Lazy author.

Me: I didn't ask you for your opinion.

Mordir: I know, but it's so much fun to hand it out anyway.

Seymour: You're going to get yourself into a heap of trouble, boy.

Mordir: You're not my mother.

Aris: I should hope not! Although it wouldn't do you much harm.

Mordir: [Jumps at Aris angrily]

Aris: [Steps sideways and kicks him in the side as he passes, knocking him down] Careful, you might bring someone's wrath upon your head. [Motions to Zurik] And then end up like him.

Me: [Pulls Zurik to the villain HQ] There, you stay put until Beduuin's... binding thing wears off.

Aris: I almost feel sorry for him. That must've been humiliating. [Uses the butt of her sword to hit Mordir's shoulder] Back off, assassin. Just because I don't kill you in the story doesn't mean I won't kill you here.

Me: Don't make me come over there.

Aris: He started it!

Me: I don't care who started it, I'll finish it. Honestly, it's like I've created children. I wonder what would happen if you two were married.

Aris: Eww!!!

Mordir: Over my dead body.

Me: Can't you two take a joke?

Seymour: At least they agree, that's got to count for something.

Me: Okay, after this duel between is over, I am officially retiring from Character Introductions. More people keep coming (which is great!) but I no longer have time to keep up with it all. So for right now I'll read Sir Emeth's posts.

Griffin: Form? Uh, I just kinda chop and slice and whatnot. Oh, but no magic. I'd rather not have the wrist snapping thing going on, my race's cobha is limited to being really strong and fast. I'm Kundinoua. My sword is called Reandil and is made out of a metal that cannot be broken and appears golden. It is a little over 3 1/2 feet long.

Me: (@Beth) Yup! And he broke a couple of Devon's ribs. (@Aris) Alexis is my MC/heroine. Julian is also a MC, but he ends up helping the villains (Devon and Skylar).

Me: *whispers* I wanted him to say thank you, but he wouldn't
Skylar: *overhears* Of course not! Say thank you for stopping hurting me? Bah!

Me: *chuckles* I love how your characters say "Bah!" My Charries can't since they be *whispers* set a little bit farther back in history.

Gavin: What was that?!

Me: Nothing.

Gavin: *raises eyebrow*

Kaida: *drops to her knees and thrusts her blade toward Meriak's stomach*

Tanner: *leans back to avoid the slash and lunges in with his own blade*

Traxus - (Breathes in relief) So, no more vendettas, then?

Ashrai - Afraid you couldn't handle them?

Traxus - No, more afraid I might hurt someone who isn't my enemy.

Niarah - (Slowly wakes up) W-wh-what happened?

(Traxus and Ashrai look at each other)

Ashrai - See yah. (walks over to observe Kaida and Meriak)

Thysal - (Whistles in amusement at Mordir and Aris) Villains and heros are the best comedians.

Sylvia - Aww. I'm glad Kai is ok. And Klasina is happy now, and everything is good.

Sylvia - What's your problem?

Ember - (yawns)

Zanya - He's not into emotional stuff, is he?

Tynx: [Wiggles his tail more] I'm glad you're getting better. You and Chayn need to get better fast, so you two can get up in the air and be really cool flying around and stuff.

Chayn: [Rumbles with laughter softly]

Rune: [Steps backward quickly, having to block both Tanner and Tesmir. Jumps forward again, slashing at both of them.]

Me: [To Raven] Gotcha.

Mordir: I am NOT a comedian.

Me: Apparently you are. That's not a bad thing.

Aris: Lighten up.

Mordir: I have been insulted by our own author.

Aris: Whiner.

Chayn: Authors tend to say things their characters don't understand, so it's best to ignore them.

Me: Keep in mind whatever you say about her learning techniques, you're indirectly saying it about me.

Trina: *lowers her dagger from Julian's neck* Go. And get some courage if you'll ever amount to anything.

Me: HEY! Don't be so rude.

Trina: Humph. *mumbles and walks away*

Merashath: *looks intently at Skylar and co. considering them as recruits*

Me: Are all the villains in here forming an army?

Gavin: Uhh...that's bad. Correct?

Emuna: Unless all the good guys counteract it with an army of their own.

Me: Nuh-Uh! No way you guys are getting into that. *moves MCs into dark corner* You are staying.there.

Emuna: Bu-

Brian: Perhaps it's for the best.

Me: See? Mr.Wise guy thinks it's for the best. So, ha!

Brian: *whispers to Emuna* We can always form a revolt behind her back.

Me: BRIAN!

Skylar: *walks over to Pirzak and Raczr*

Julian: (@Trina) *whispers* Thank you.

Devon: Julian! What are you, useless?!?! You couldn't help Skylar or me!

Devon: Don't you have a brain in your head? *raises hand* *sees Brian watching* *drags Julian out by the collar* *comes back alone*
Julian: *sneaks back in* *a black eye is rapidly forming.

Trina: *shakes head* I call him a coward and he thanks me. Some people...

Me: What? Were you trying to pick a fight.

Trina: Pssh. No. He'd be way to easy. And I only fight if the fight comes to me or if I feel I must. I don't start them.

Me: Anyways, introducing Hadwin, Rinifer, and Cuoash.

Hadwin: I'm back again...

Me: I'm not sure if you ever left...

Rinifer: I'm like the most elite spy in all of the Liberation force. I have seen countless perils and your worst nightmare is my sweetest dream.

Me: Whoah, ok... pretty rough... He's pretty quiet and tends to be secretive. It's hard to get him to say anything.

Cuoash: Hi! My name is Cuoash, I used to live on a farm, but then I ran away to join the liberation force. Trina and I are working together to get the Mer-people to join our cause.

Me: That's not what they're called...

Trina: Then what are they called?

Me: I don't know yet...

Brian: *clenches fist, but otherwise remains still. Glares at Devon*

Emuna: Brian, if you help everyone that is getting hurt you'll be quite busy...perhaps you should just let it be for now...

Brian: *sigh* I know...

Julian: (@Trina) I was thanking you for letting me go.

Devon: (@Brian) *glares back defiantly*

Me: Oops, sorry. Tounon's downward cut was to make Elanhil lift his sword, Tou purposely kept his sword from colliding with Elanhil's (if ELanhil tried to block) so Tounon's sword would be free to thrust upward, under ELanhil's raised sword.

Mordir: [Walks back to the villain HQ] Devon, Skylar, Julian! Over this way!

Suragore: [Flies in low circles above the HQ, eyeing Zanya, but he doesn't approach]

Me: I can't tell if the rebellion's collapsing on itself or getting better.

Mordir: It seems to have its moments in both. Meriak!

Meriak: Busy! [Flaps upward and somersaults over, spinning around as he lands. Her stomach bleeding a little. Hisses and approaches slowly, staring into Kaida's eyes, unblinking]

Mordir: You tryin' to hypnotize her?

Tesmir: She's trying to 'instill' fear. Usually just seeing a Meriak is enough to do that. At least in Allare.

Seymour: They are a fascinating race. But Verians are more likeable.

Tesmir: Duh. They don't scare people to death. And they don't live in dark, dangerous places.

Seymour: Everywhere has potential to be a dark dangerous place.

Tesmir: You know what I mean.

Seymour: Do I?

Orrun: [Laughing]

Me: Forgot about him...

Me: YAY! *hugs my MCs*

Emuna: Get.off.me.

Gavin: Breaking...my...ribs...

Me: *stops hugging* I finished y'all's first book!

Gavin: SO YOU BROKE OUR RIBS?!

Me: Yup! Pretty much.

Brian: *rubs neck* That's great, Beth, but never do that again.

Me: *pouts* Fine. But you know what this means right?

Emuna: What?

Me: No more untimely character developments.

Me - So happy for you, Bethany!

Sylvia - Well, I'm jealous.

Niarah - Same here, I guess.

Traxus - Yes, definitely.

Niarah - (confused) Where'd you come from? You weren't here earlier . . .

Ashrai - (Muffles an uncharacteristic chuckle)

Thysal - (stands up, walkes over to Jay, then lays down again) If those villains want to start another fight, I'd sure welcome it.

Me - You came out on the short end last time.

Thysal - And? It was a lovely battle.

Zanya - (Eyes the Meriak, but does nothing)

Me - I'm trying to gather the courage to bring in Ember as an adult, but I'm not sure . . .

Devon and Skylar: *head for the villains' headquarters*
Devon: *notices Julian's not following* *drags him along after him*

Alexis: Authoress Bethany! Be careful of Brian's neck! *hands on hips*

Me: Yay, Beth!

Me: (@Alexis) Right...I totally forgot about the neck thing... My bad.

Brian: *still rubbing neck* Somehow I doubt you forgot.

Me: *feigning shock face* Why would I try to hurt you?

Brian: *glares, drops hand* I don't know!

Emuna: *watches villains* Should we be concerned?

Gavin: Define...concerned.

Me: Hey! Remember what I said? Nobody.gets.involved. End of. Story.

Me: Yay, Bethany!

Seymour: That quite a feat. [Lowers voice so only Bethany can hear] Especially with those three.

Chayn: I'm with you, Thysal. I'm itching to get back into the sky.

Aris: You're not going anywhere until your side heals and Shawn's burns and cuts heal.

Aris: But I'm the one who patched you up. It's not easy trying to bandage a fully grown dragon.

Chayn: [Lifts head, but not wing] I'm not quite fully grown, I have about a month left before that.

Aris: I don't see much difference.

Chayn: You're not a dragon.

Me: [To Ciela] You should! That would be cool!

Mordir: No, that would not be cool!

Me: Killjoy.

Mordir: I know. Horribly cruel of me.

Aris: [Sits Brian down in a chair] Let's get your cut taken care of.

Mordir: [Nudges Zurik with his boot] Uh, Aris... he's looking really mad... Is he loose now, or would that be dangerous?

Me: I'm sure he'll be fine. I'll keep him in under control. But being loose is up to Beduuin, it's his spell.

Mordir: [Looks at Devon, Skylar, and Julian] Glad to have you all join. The more villains we can find, the better.

Brian: *sighs and sits still in chair* Did everybody decide to make sure I stay put today?

Emuna: Yes,

Me: *whispers to Seymour* It's more fun when the characters are uncooperative,

Emuna: Hey! I was very cooperative!

Me: How did yo-oh whatever...no you weren't! You refused to beat up Gavin!

Emuna: Not MY fault you were picturing that scene wrong.

Me: I'm sure...

Chayn: [Smiles and lifts wing]

Tynx: Gaow. [Buries head under paws to hide from the bright light]

Chayn: What kind of word is that, little one?

Tynx: A word that expresses both annoyance and pain when exposed to light after sleeping for a while in the dark.

Chayn: I don't believe I've heard that one before.

Tynx: [Sits up] 'Course not, I made it up!

Me: You sound terribly proud of yourself.

Tynx: I am, thank you.

Aris: [Smiles and gently washes Brian's wound] You're a busy man. You keep yourself occupied so long people start to worry that you might collapse.

Seymour: [Laughs] I can imagine the adventure that would be. How old are those three?

Brian: I wouldn't collapse...

Emuna: *crosses arms* I'm sure you wouldn't.

Me: Okay...let's see here. Emuna is,

Emuna: Sixteen, Master Seymour. I'm sixteen.

Me: *nods* Yup so that makes Brian sixteen, but older than her by a few months and Gav-

Gavin: I can answer for myself! I am seventeen!

Me: Yah...seventeen...*whispers to Seymour* Though, sometimes I wonder if he is really only eight.

Gavin: Hey! I got an attitude adjustment.

Me: But you're still outrageously annoying.

Brian: If you don't mind me asking, how old are you, Sir Seymour and Aris?

Me: What? Aris doesn't get a fancy title like 'sir'.

Brian: Your reputation precedes you...so I'd probably mess it up.

Me: Hey!

Skylar: (@Raczr): *winces a little*

Alexis: (@Aris) *whispers* I believe Jay needs some help. He won't admit it...but he does.

Emuna: *glances over at Jay* I could help him, that way Aris isn't so terribly busy...

Emuna: *rolls eyes* Aris still has to finish with you. *smiles defiantly and prances away towards Jay*

Brian: Yes...I suppose so...

Emuna: *looks at Jay* May I?...I'm certain it's not best to leave that unattended to...

Me: Just to be sure...I'm assuming he has a cut on his shoulder...

Gavin: I'm bored.

Me: *whacks the back of Gavin's head*

Gavin: *rubs head* Ow!

Me: Less bored?

Gavin: No! And now I'm in pain!

Elanhil: *ignores the downward stroke...it is too far to do any damage. He easily blocks the upward stroke...*

Trina: Whatever...just don't sink in any deeper. Like, by JOINING THE REBELLION!

Me: When the duel with Tounon is over Elanhil has to leave. And Hadwin is going. They are developed enough. So I got Trina, Rinifer, and Cuoash...once Elanhil is done.

Cuoash: *smiles, and looks shyly around.*

Me: I'll bring in Hérion as well...

Hérion: It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance...

Me: He tends to speak in bigger words, but he is awesome at fighting...

Hérion: Indeed...

Trina: Ok, what's with all the '...'ing?

Me: (Oh, by the way he is a good guy...)

Alexis: *chuckles at Brian and Emuna*

Julian: (@Trina) I have no choice.

Gavin: I feel like I'm not doing much...hey! Can I join the villain gang?!

Me: No! And you don't feel like you're doing anything because your development is done for now.

Gavin: So what does that me-

Me: *makes Gavin disappear* Means once I'm done with Brian and Emuna I'm going to bring more MCs in here...but I'm keeping Brian and Emuna, it's just too fun to play with them.

Alexis: *looks worried when Beth mentions characters leaving* *breaks into a smile when she says Brian and Emuna are staying* *hugs Emuna and smiles brightly at Brian* I'm glad you're staying!

Emuna: *chuckles* Of course I'm staying, Alexis. I'm her favorite, she could never stop developing me.

Me: Don't brag, Emuna....being the author, I'm supposed to do that!

Brian: *smiles back* I can't say I'm her favorite, but I am certainly happy to be staying...seems quite interesting things happen here. I wouldn't want to miss them.

Me: *nods* Interesting things indeed. *sprinkles glittery substance in the air and watches as two new MCs appear*

*A young woman wearing a green dress and with waist long black curly hair appears*

Emuna: *scowls* HEY! I'm the girl in this company! I don't want another!

Me: It's a different book Emuna! And play nice! Or I'll duct tape your mouth.

*Other MC appears. A man about as old as the girl with short brown hair and grayish blue eyes.*

Mikhail: Greetings fellow characters. *dips head slightly*

Vanessa: *stays close to Mikhail* Hi...everyone.

Me: Do note...this is pretty much how I'm going to be developing these characters before I start writing the book so feel free to do anything you want to them, y'all! (and they are both good guys...)

Alexis: *waves* Hello, Vanessa and Mikhail!

Merashath: *breathes smoke down Mikhail's neck.* [creepy voice] come to the dark side, young one...[/creepy voice]

Me:

Mikhail: Hello, Miss Alexis. Pleasure to meet you.

Vanessa: *waves slightly at Alexis* Hi...Umm...Alexis.

Mikhail: *turns to Merashath* *scowls* I think I'll stay here for now.

Me: That was funny, Elanhil.

Merashath: As you wish...

Me: Thanks...

Me: Oh, I never mentioned Merashath in that list of charies that he should have been in...I think I'll let him go...once the rebellion thing is done...he's not the same as he is in the book. It is him at an earlier date...I'm not developing him well in here...

Me: *takes a deep breath* Okay, trying this again...

*waves hand and two characters appear*

Me: This is Ark. Technically it's the Ark, but I'm not entirely sure why he's called that yet and it's simpler to just go with Ark. He's a Light Fae. The specific cobha of his race hasn't been all worked out yet, but I do know that it's what allows him to see even when he's wearing that blindfold of his.

Ark: *gives a tiny bow of greeting*

Me: And this is Dai. He's supposed to be the protagonist of the story which is why I want to develop him more and why he's here.

Dai: *looks around at everyone* Uh...hi.

Steve: HI!

Me: *blinks* Was Steve here before? I don't remember him...

Dai: Hello, Steve. *glances back at me* So, what do we do here?

Me: Steve is a blue footed Boobie bird. He's just here to welcome new characters. He hasn't shown up in a while...
