Tarzan is one of the most famous literary characters of all time. He was created by Edgar Rice Burroughs in the novel Tarzan of the Apes and its many sequels. Have you read Tarzan of the Apes? How about its sequels? What did you think of it/them?

Read only the unabridged versions. They are in my opinion some of the best written literary works ever. Second only to Louis Lamour which is second only to Robert E Howard.

I've read Tarzan of the Apes and The Return of Tarzan. I think they're really good. I'm going to read the next two soon.

The ending of the first one was sad.

We'll have a decent sized pulp fan community here soon.

I liked the first one and will leave it at that and pretend the sequels don't exist.
I hated how Disney messed the story up so bad with their movie.
