Merashath: *Is renewed by the fire and heat from the explosion. After hurtling off in the direction of Tynx, he corrects his course to attack him.*

Trina: *blinks and shields her eyes*

Me: I need more than four characters.

*A tall-ish young man walks in.*

Trina: Rinifer! *Runs over and puts her arms around his neck.*

Rinifer: Trina! *hugs her close* 'tis good to see you.

Trina: *Returns to the fire, leading Rinifer. She sits on the ground*

Rinifer: *sits next to Trina*

Me: Wait...who's dead?

Cassie: So, concealin my true intentions won't affect my normal personality, right?

Me: Hope not.... does it?

Chase: Would it matter? She doesn't get a sword in the series.

Me: True.... OK, I'm good! Carry on! If you want to take a break, Kimun, feel free. I don't want to monopolize your time, when others want a turn.

Cory: It does feel much better. Thank you.

Tynx: I'm fine, I think.

Chayn: [Blasts a fireball at Iri's magic.] Ah, I forgot You elves had magic.

Tynx: Haha. [Turns to face Merashath.] Hmm, didn't think about that...

Me: What?

Tynx: Fire doesn't seem to do much to Merashath.

Me: I'm thinking about bringing in other characters, and taking a few out.

Seymour: You did the math, you'll be bring more in than removing.

Me: Yeah, I know. But they're really cool characters who need developing!

Cory: But one of 'em has your name, so it'd be confusing.

Me: Elanhil and Shawn have characters with their names. I dunno. I don't even know if or when I'd be able to write their story.

Chase: Because you still have ours.

Me: You won't let that go, will you?

Chase: Nope. You should ask the others. Maybe you just need to stick with characters and not change them so much.

Me: Maybe..... what do you all (the authors/ other authors characters) think?

Werynn: Is Rinifer your brother, Trina?

Trina@Werynn: No, just a friend.

Merashath: *flies towards Tynx, and screeches* It's not working!

Me: I've decided you can't use magic. It doesn't make sense.

Merashath: *Places his talons on Tynx's back.*

Elanhil: *Turns to Chase.* I'm sorry, but while Griffin isn't here, I have no-one to fight, except you. *thrusts*

Thysal - (Hovers in the air, steadying herself after the explosion) That was impressive. Lets get Merashath! (Dives down towards the Merashath, then flips so that she strikes him with all four clawed feet, trying to knock him off Tynx. Whirling, she darts away then turns to face him) That should do it.

Niarah - Correct me if I'm wrong, because I know you will, but several characters of yours are suffering from the same complexes.

Me - Like what?

Niarah - Pride. Stubborness. Unwilling to back out of a fight turned against them.

Zanya - That was pointed.

Me - I'm still grateful to bookwormnick for helping me make Zanya--my problem character--more flawed than she was. She's tenacious, prideful, and now she sort of grudging. This is great.

Zanya - *growls*

Sabre - Ha!

Tynx: Wah! [Whips his tail out at Merashath from behind.] Take that! And that!

Chayn: Shapeshifters are so odd. [Chases after Thysal.]

Chase: Oh. [Jumps backward, then leaps forward, cuting at Elanhil's torso.]

Werynn: I see. You two seem very close.

Cory: [Looks at me.] Can we please stay? You could bring in one of them Tesmir's already been here anyway, and the other two-

Me: Shush. Fine, you're all staying, more or less. There are some who may leave when they can, but I won't say who until I've decided. And someone else is coming in.

Mordir: No! She can't come!

Me: Oh relax, will you? She won't bite. Promise.

Mordir How do you know?!

Seymour: You really have him freaking out.

Me: I know....

Cory: No, keep going!

Fulgar: Collect more clouds from the south! Ume isn't with us on this one.

Stellwento: *increases the wind*

Melany: Greetings Rinifer. What brings you to these parts?

Rinifer: *shrugs* I have no idea. Ask him. *points at me.*

Me: Uh, I just needed to develop him. Right now he's flat. I'm considering making him an angel, which would be awesome, but I'm worried that will seem too much like 'Deus ex machina' or whatever.

Trina: Hey, if you were an angel you'd be able to defeat Merashath.

Me: I...don't know about that one.

Merashath: *Immediately let's go of Tynx and rushes after Thysal* Why you...

Elanhil: *Curves his body in a '(' shape so the sword cuts his belly, but it's a surface wound. While he is being sliced at, he slices at Chase's neck.*

Cassie: So... so long as I don't get stone-hearted, my normal personality will still be there. Cool! [Smiles up at Kimun.] Thank you for teaching me so much. It was really fun! [Runs over and hugs Kimun tight.] I've only done well because you taught me well. You were a fun teacher.

Me: I second her thank you. I learned a lot too.

Tynx: Thanks, Thysal!

Chayn: [Follows right behind Merashath in pursuit of Thysal.]

Tynx: [Barrels into Chayn.] Back off!

Chayn: You back off!

Tynx: I hit you first!

Me: Does it matter who hit who?

Cory: Obviously it does.

Chase: [Rams his sword upward and shoves Elanhil's blade to the side.]

Mordir: You're going to totally fail.

Me: Hush up.

Mordir: And then I will laugh.

Me:

Seymour: Easy, easy.

Me: Mordir, for that. I'm bringing in Aris.

Mordir: No! I take it back! Please!

Me: Nope.

Mordir: Oh c'mon, please?

Aris: Where, where am I?

Mordir: ARIS!!!!

Aris: What're you shoutin' at me for?!

Mordir: Not you, the author!

Me: ANd this is where it might get confusing.... so she might not stay. Depends on how well this goes.

Mordir: You are horrible.

Me: This is called revenge.

Kimun looks surprised, but his face softens after a bit. He takes Cassie by the shoulders and looks into her eyes, "Cassie, it has been an honor. But do not think, because of these lessons, that you are able to choose danger over safety. Do not go into risky situations, and always avoid conflict if at all possible. That is the way to win. Thank you for listening. It has been a pleasure." He gives a playful tug to her hair and stands up before bowing to her respectfully.

It was fun. Most of that is completely legit, too. The stuff that I wasn't sure about I abstracted (such as her blade posture).

Me: *sigh* I need to be keeping up with this!

Kai: Kimun! Now can I fight you?

Me: That's not a good idea....

Kai: *ignores sense*

Roel: Can I fight somebody?

Me: Didn't you ask that last time I posted on here?

Roel: Yeah. But now you know for sure what weapon I use.

Me: Erm. I don't know.

Roel: Please?

Me: Saying 'please' is not in character for you.

Klasi: That's a no, I think.

Elanhil: *Grasps his belly and takes a couple of steps backwards. He lowers the tip of his sword and tilts his head downward, but keeps on eye on Chase and Griffin.*

Merashath: *screech! - Continues to chase after Thysal.*

Me: I actually learned a lot from Kimun. Elanhil's in line to fight Kimun, but his duel may go on for awhile because he has to get Chase AND Griffin, and he's not on much.

Thysal - Whoa, they're both after us! (Spins around and slams headfirst into Merashath, her hard skull striking him in the chest. Dives down beneath Chayn and Merashath, and flies to the other side of the room)

Me - That can't have felt good.

Thysal - It didn't. Ouch.

Niarah - I think we're all learning a lot from Kimun's teachings. I know Ciela has been taking notes.

Me - And I plan on using them in the future.

Rahor - That doesn't bode well.

Me - Hey, where'd you come from? I thought you left a long time ago.

Rahor - Well, I came back. I'm open for duels, anyone interested?

Merashath: *as soon as Thysal hits him, he curves his body and inserts his talons into her underside* You can't get away that easy.*

Roel: I'll fight you, Rahor. But first I must know - are you human?

Klasina: Jaynin has a character name Skylar?!?

Skylar: Evidently so. This will be confusing.

Yes, the natural laws of Ithelak allow for kinetic manipulation in the form of Aurein or Torein control. It isn't magic, more like telekinesis.

Me: Alright, then I wouldn't mind cobha. Kai can -

Kai: I can make fog, see through fog almost as if it wasn't there, and turn invisible. I would never give those up for a fight, so I shall say yes, I don't mind cobha. Rather, I like it...

Me: If you feel the invisibility isn't fair, Emeth, I can remove it for this fight.

Kai: Evil dictator...

*pile of dictionaries land on Kai*

Dictionaries are great things.

"Invisibility is acceptable, as I can see invisible things. I am glad to use cobha. Are living blades allowed?"

Kai: But I'm from a different world, so I would still be invisible to you, right?

Me: You're too hopeful. He can see you. I decree it.

Kai: I'd prefer we only fight with non-living blades. Somehow.. it seems safer. Blades with a will of their own could kill either one or both of us, you know.

Me: We can start anytime, I don't want Kai to make you as powerful or less powerful than he is for this fight. (which is what he's trying to do.)

Niarah - I think I can guess who's going to win that duel.

Me - No one asked for your input.

Niarah - That's why I gave it.

Thysal - *gasp* (locks her claws on Merashath and folds her wings in, sending them both plummeting downwards)

Me - Thysal, what are you doing?

Thysal - Hang on, Jay! (Suddenly spreads her wings, abruptly halting her descent as she pushes Merashath away. She swiftly flies back upwards)

Rahor - @Roel; I'm not human. I'm an anthromorphic snow leopard, according to my author. So, I walk on two legs and swordfight like a human, but I have high flexibility and agility.

Niarah - Listen to you.

Rahor - He asked.

Me - I have too many characters. Sabre, you're gone. And you, Ryan. If I need to get rid of anyone else, then Zanya's going.

Ryan - But what about Silver?

Me - Hmmm. Akira can watch her.

Akira - Wait, what?

*Ryan and Sabre vanish*

Kai. I'm having second thoughts about this fight.

I don't know what it does, so I don't think I'll be telling him...

Chayn: [Flies after Thysal, claws outstretched. As Thysal comes back up (from throwing Merashath down) Chayn whistles down to meet her.]

Tynx: [Circles above.]

Cassie: Yes, sir. [Runs over to the fire.] Oh, may I keep the wooden sword?

Cory: [In a teasing tone] Is there anything you can't do, Kimun?

Seymour: Don't be rude.

Cory: I'm not.

Seymour: Aris, you really should separate your assassin and ambassador. They'll kill each other. [Nods to the said two, who are yelling angrily at each other.]

Me: Nah, she's staying. For now. He deserves it, the little stinker.

Mordir: I heard that!

Aris: She's right, though. I would call you other names, but there are little children present.

Mordir: You don't scare me.

Aris: Really? I seem to recall you begging our author to keep me away. I was almost expecting you to get down on your knees and start begging.

Mordir: I was not.

Seymour: [Looks at me questioningly.]

Me: They don't have their swords at other's necks yet. So don't worry.

Cory: Kai, I think all authors are evil dictators.

Me: False.

Cory: You're completely cutting me out of Piensor. You don't think that's evil?

Me: I'm not cutting you out. You have your own story. Sure the timelines a bit screwed, but you're still there.

Cory: Lie.

Me: Fine, be pessimistic. See if I care.

Seymour: Don't make her slit your throat, Cory.

Stellwento: Technically it's Arcane but we accept it either way. *increases his tornado*

Fulgar: it's just the amazing combination of chaos and coordination. *causes the clouds to release electricity back and forth to each other and himself*

Me: AMANDA! No, don't let him use it. I know what it does. Armor and blades are useless against it. It passes straight through. One stroke and he's dead. (don't read that if you want to remain ignorant.)

Elanhil: *stands up tall*

Kimun wears Elvish armor. It is woven into the fabric of his under tunic, and can turn your average grazing blows or light arrows.

Kimun raises his hand and the gray blade flies to his palm. He raises it before his face and bows gravely. A slight motion in the grass at his feet belies a strange current of air moving about him. "Your move."

Kai: Arrows, huh? What about shuriken? *draws katana and a shuriken, and throws the shuriken at Kimun's neck*

Me: Don't permanently injure him, Kai.

Kai: He's too good to get hit by that one, don't worry. *backs away and looks around for something*

Me: No. Not Derek. We've been over this. In Buzz.

Derek: But, but...

Me: Look, you want to write it?

Derek: ...

Me: exactly.
