Me: :D :D You finished! Awesomesauce!!! *hyper* :D :D

Kai: Oh boy.

Klasina: *sigh*

Me: *bounces up and down*

Kai: I'm going to ignore her for the moment. *deflects slash and takes a step back* How fast do I need to be, Fairivel? I can be as fast as my author allows.

Klasina: He's not as fast as I am.

Kai: Aye, but you're a wind.

Klasina: Of course.

Roel: *watches fight with eerie fascination*

Elanhil: *leaps back* Yipes! That was a close one. *Looks around for a sword or weapon, and dives down for his sword stuck in the dirt.* Thanks, Chase!

Hadwin: *Jumps in towards Phillip, his hands glowing with energy. Suddenly they burst forward in beams of light burning the vines. After taking a breath and finding no oxygen, Hadwin gags and then quickly recovers. He pulls oxygen in from the surrounding area and takes a deep breath.*

Me: Sorry about the delay everybody. But now I have no idea how people have interacted with my characters since I am lazy and didn't bother to look back at what happened. Sorry.

Thysal - Erm, I was the one who grabbed him by the talons and tossed him. Right, Jay? (glides around in slow circles)

Sabre - (groans and shudders under Vetis's sudden onslaught, but remains standing, whirling to face him)

Zanya - (stumbles to her knees, but manages to turn and throw her knife at the villain) You can't win! (Shifts into feline form and crouches for a spring)

Me - Hey, you guys asked for it.

Akira - Do something!

Me - Characters work out their own duels.

Akira - Hard hearted author.

Me - Aren't we all? ;)

Silver - @Lady E: You finished your story? How cool is that, that is way awesome? (wanders over to Kian) Oh, hi!

Silver - (licks Kian's hand with a long pink tongue) The author says I'm gonna get bigger someday. (wrinkles her nose in disbelief)

Zanya - Aarrgh! No! (forces herself to overcome the pain and springs at the villain)

Sabre - Zanya, don't! (Charges towards Vertis, throwing his spear to distract him from the Felanai)

Ryan - Ouch. That can't feel good.

Niarah - I don't see you running in there to help.

Ryan - Cause I'm not foolish enough to challenge a villain like that to a duel.

Akira - Why are villains so invincible?

Me - Take a random guess.

Ember - (lets his tongue hang out of his mouth as he digs his claws into Chayn's scales for a grip)

Derek: *draws sword* @Vetis: *angrily* Hey you cowardly villain! Direct your attention over here, huh?

Me: Derek. You have no magical powers whatsoever. There is no possible way you can defeat him.

Derek: I know.

Me: So why are you getting involved???

Derek: I'm not going to stand by and watch... that.

Me: *hides* :book:

Klasina: I don't care what universe you're from, that had to hurt!

Me: Stop quoting SW!!

Klasina: Sorry. Not my fault you memorized so much of it.

Me: Uh-huh. * ignores Klasina * I'm getting this feeling that only Kimun and his sentient swords are going to be able to defeat Vetis...

Kai: Probably.

Klasina: I don't know what Elvari are, Elf, but you have to be quite fast to beat a Phantom, whether or not they're a wind. I've seen a Phantom move so fast humans couldn't see him.

Kai: Don't brag.

Klasina: I'm not bragging, just telling it like it is.

Elanhil: I could take him!

Me: Hey! ELANHIL!!

Elanhil: *Whirls around, and acting on instinct he grabs his sword and blocks the blow.* Of course not.

Merashath: Hang on! *Spins upside-down and locks talons with Thysal, and spins around again so she is on the bottom.* Yeah, I could use an ally.

Hadwin: *Holds his hands together out in front of him, and just as the water hits them he moves them apart and the water separates on either side. Hadwin then pulls his hands together again and the water reverses direction and sends it hurtling back towards Phillip.*

Trina: It's snowing! I love snow!

Me: Hey, I can turn the snow off. Watch this! *Hits toggle snow button*

Trina: Aw... I liked it.

Me: *Laughs* Here ya go! *Hits button again.*

Me: Just to clarify, Thysal can dodge or prevent being flipped over, it's just hard to do a duel in a forum. Also, how big is Thysal? 'Cause if she's huge, There's no way Merashath could do that.

Chayn: [Smiles and roars loudly, also letting loose a stream of poison]

Me: [Catches it all in a teardrop shape, letting it rest harmlessly in a pit.]

Cory: Honestly, you could have given that to Zanya and Sabre.

Me: Oh well. Maybe she'll do it again.

Mordir: Gah! I'll have you people know that snow is NOT easy to breathe in, especially when SOMEONE lands on top of you.

Cory: You're good at subtlety.

Cassie: [Wiggles with delight]

Tynx: [Turns sharply to his left and slams into Merashath]

Seymour: Someone's going to get hurt up there.

Me: No, really? A dragon duel, and someone's gonna get hurt? Perish the thought!

Seymour: If you're not careful, you'll be the one who gets hurt.

Me: :x

Cory: Fail.

Chayn: I wonder... Aris, if Shawn's author and Ember's author would allow, could they temporarily become actual Keepers? I mean, Shawn, at least, and Ember could have immunity to my, ah... ability?

Me: If it's alright with them, it's alright with me. Just don't kill anyone.

Chayn: I won't.

Cory: [Sits down against a tree trunk] Man, Tesmir is missing out on a lot.

Me: Oh well. He'd probably cause more trouble than I'd know what to do with.

Silver - @Kian: I never met any big dragons until we came here. Now I know what it's like to be the short one in a crowd.

Me - Thysal is a smallish dragon, but she's still the size of a Shire horse with more lithe muscle. Oh, and Ember can be immune to Chayn's attacks right now. (scribbles a few notes)

Thysal - (uses the momentum from Merashath to gain speed, then whirls around and shoots towards Merashath once more) Hang on, Jay!

Zanya - (gasps as the spear hits her, then pulls it out and flings it at Vetis. Baring her fangs, she springs once more, claws outstretched)

Sabre - (stands up) I feel inadaquitely equipped. (charges towards Vetis)

Akira - Now who can't spell?

Me - Shush.

Ryan - What happened to duelling being impersonal?

Sylvia - I think he scrapped that idea.

Niarah - (climbs off Mordir) Whoops, sorry. (shakes snow out of her fur) Isn't this awesome?

Katherine: Derek!

Me: Don't worry, no one actually dies here.

Katherine: Who are you?

Me: Oh, he's a renegade character from a scifi short story...

Katherine: No, you.

Me: Me? I'm... I'm the author.

Katherine: *icily* Oh.

Derek: *smiles ruefully* You came.

Me: You are... all right, aren't you?

Derek: Of course. You said I was. I just like watching you look worried.

Me:

Shawn: Really? I'd love to!

Me: Sure thing. I'd rather not have you die.

Shawn: Aw, you actually care.

Me: *laughs at Mordir* (to Aris) Cory just rubs it in, doesn't he? :D

Merashath: *Suddenly turns upward, hopefully causing Thysal and Tynx to run into each other. Flipping over in the air, he rushes downward towards Thysal.*

Trina: *looks up at the dragon war.* Wow!!

Thysal - Whoa! Heads up Jay! (dives down and barely misses Tynx. Spinning around, she shoots towards Merashath, and whirls, whacking him with her tail, then drops lower in the air) That was a close one. (manuvers so that she's on a equal level with Merashath) Jay, get Tanner!

Me - What exactly is Merashath anyway? I've been thinking some sort of eagle creature.

Griffin: Okay, you asked for it. (sheaths his sword, grabs his javelin whacks at Elanhils stomach, then, if it lands, aims another at his back, spins around, bringing one tip of the javelin toward Elanhi and into his sidel, if the former blows landed, and at the same time readying himself for an attack from Chase.)

Me: I'll go ahead and give a description of Griffin's javelin for the sake of keeping confusion away. His javelin is made of wood, but double-tipped. The tips are fire hardened and the shaft is covered in a thin sheet of steel so Griffin can use it to block sword blows.

Phillip: Uh-oh. (The water hits Phillip full on, knocking him over) Ow.(He pulls the earth up in a circle around and above Hadwin, enclosing him he saps the heat out of that area, causing the temp. around Hadwin to plunge, storing the heat for later, then taking the water previously used, filling the room Hadwin is in with it and freezing it, locking Hadwin in a cage of earth an ice)

Me: Boy, that took a long time to type.

Mordir: The snow? I guess. I'm not big with cold weather.

Cory: [Smiles] I usually leave that to Mordir, but I couldn't resist.

Me: And I thought I got enough smart-aleck remarks from Mordir. Now Cory's being the evil one.

Tynx: Oh crud. [Manages to flip completely over and fly upside down for just a few seconds] There we - [Flaps frantically back to avoid Tanner] That was close.

Chase: [Steps carefully around the fighters and slashes at Elanhil from behind.]

Mordir: And, your strategy is...?

Chase: Most likely Griffin's gonna be on guard, and so Elanhil's gonna have two people to deal with.

Zanya - (curls up and flies over Sabre's head, landing on her paws facing the darkness) This is starting to feel very one sided.

Sabre - This is one sided.

Me - Wait for it . . .

Niarah - @Mordir: Why not? Snow is wonderful!

Akira - Coming from the snow leopard.

Niarah - Exactly!

Thysal - Jay, don't jump on Merashath if you don't have to. Don't you have a weapon of sorts?

Merashath: *Gets smacked in the face by Thysal's tail. He shakes it off and scratches at Thysal as she flies beside him. He then moves upward a couple of feet and then cuts suddenly over, trying to hit Jay off of Thysal before he can jump. He flies far to the right, out of the battle and turns back, scanning for Tynx.*

Me: Merashath is a ten or so foot tall bat-like human. He is all black, he has Talons, but his head is kinda like a humans. Picture that one creature in The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe at the stone table scene, you know what I mean? He's like that one but bigger, blacker, and eviler. Only pure good can defeat him.

Hadwin: *Strains to keep the heat in the room as he feels it slip away, but as it gets colder he hurriedly makes a small force-field to protect himself. After the room fills up with ice, he slowly expands his force-field, building up the pressure, eventually causing the earth to collapse and the ice to crash into hundreds of pieces. Hadwin sends all of the sharp pieces of ice flying at Philip.* This is fun, good man!

Elanhil: *Slashes his sword downward, blocking the Javelin, and then jumps up to his feet ready for the next blow. He pushes the javelin upwards and out of the way.* (me: I take it since the first two didn't land there is no third blow?) *Elanhil yells and spins around towards Chase, pushing his sword away, and chops downwards, and then moves his sword to the right and slices from right to left, momentarily forgetting about Griffin.*

Trina: Since everybody else in this post has long and drawn out action or speech, I think I am going to join in. *Trina walks over to a small clearing, and, pointing at me, fiddle and flute music begins to play. She twirls and leaps and begins to dance in the Saruish fashion.* Will anybody join me? I love dancing!

Mordir: I don't know. I've had to sleep in it too much, I guess.

Me: Sleep in it? I've never given you a story that has you sleeping in snow, except the one where you left your world.

Mordir: So? That doesn't make sleeping in it any better.

Me:

Chase: [Almost loses his grip, but manages to push away Elanhil's sword as it comes down, but his arms get cut] That's not good. [Slams the flat of his blade at Elanhil's head, then ducks and slices at his ankles.]

Mordir: He's dead.

Cassie: Killjoy.

Mordir: Thank you very much.

Cassie: [Sticks her tongue out at him and hurried off to join Trina, after giving Skooter and Pernoxnix and quick kiss on their heads] Can you show me how to dance like that?

Chayn: [Ears flick about while her eyes scan the skies] Where did Tynx go?

Tynx: [Drops from the sky straight down at Merashath]

Me: Iri, feel free to tell him what to do.

Chayn: [Flies straight upward] Don't let go, now. [Opens her mouth and spews out a huge ball of poison] It won't harm you, and it will come right off in water [Flies straight into the poison ball]

Niarah - Nice move, Chayn.

Zanya - (gasps and stumbles, lying still)

Ryan - Oh my gosh, she's dead!

Me - She's still alive! Don't panic!

Akira - (points at Sabre) Tell that to him.

Sabre - NO! (Suddenly transforms into a powerful golden dragon and launches himself at Vetis once more, sending a spray of light into the shadows)

Sylvia -

Me - Draconai.

Silver - Melodrama. You've really got to knock it off with surprise shapeshifters.

Me - First fantasy is about animals, this one is about shapeshifters. And dragons.

Ryan - How about both in one?

Niarah - This is getting brutal. I can't wait to see how Negraz does. :D

Me: All these dragons... I think it's time I introduce Malcolm and Erronys. Malcolm is a bright red wyvern which are usually very temperamental dragons but he is more reserved than most. the ones usually interested in treasure, they have long necks and tails, bony spikes all around their heads and all down there spines. Unlike the usual dragons, they have reptilian style legs so they cannot gallop but run with a side to side gait common to lizards.

Malcolm: *raises a fore-claw* Greetings.

Erronys is a gray basilisk. Sadly the best way to describe a basilisk is charizard however with longer front legs. Both races are fully and capable of speech. Sadly Erronys has a vocal defect so he is generally mute.

Erronys: *nods in greeting*

Phillip: Quite exhilarating as well! (uses the heat he took out of the earthy room and throws a wave of heat at the ice crystals, melting them, he then uses the remaining heat to throw several small fireballs at Hadwin, starts the long process of forming storm clouds above them by pressing the moisture higher up together)

Negraz: Would you pathetic wimps hurry up and finish your doomed battle with Vetis!

Elanhil: *Raises his sword to block Chase's blow, but then gets knocked off his feet, and the blow doesn't come anywhere near him. Looking up, he sees Griffin and rolls into Chase to avoid getting hit by the Javelin. After his is on his back again he leaps up onto his feet again and jumps forward, thrusting at Griffin.*

Hadwin: *Pulls the moisture downward from above, causing it to form into a wave, consuming the fireballs and then proceeding to fly towards Phillip. As the water approaches, it forms from a wave into more of a ball and smashes into Phillip.*

Merashath: *Screeches, and points his talons towards Tynx, bracing himself for the sudden impact of the flying Dragon.* (Since this is the internet and Merashath can be in two places at once): Vetis, you sound like my kind of guy. How about working with me? All I ask of you is the lives of that young girl *points at Trina* and that young man. *Points at Elanhil.*

Me: Hey!! Stay in your fight, and no. You can't get Vetis. No. I'm not allowing it.

Trina: It's easy! *begins to demonstrate and teach Cassie.*

Griffin: (is holding his javelin in his right hand and his sword in his left, knocks away Elanhil's thrust with the javelin, making a counter-stab at his stomach with his sword)

Phillip: (finishes with other preparations for a storm and redirects the water that hit him up into the sky, rain begins to fall) Aah, I do love starting a storm.(centers lighting around Hadwin and then strikes a tree with it, starting a fire, he then proceeds to throw many fireballs at Hadwin, and also makes the earth rise up in a giant hand and grab Hadwin, locking him in place) Yield! For this is my storm and uncontrollable by others.

Cassie: [Watches Trina in fascination, then imitates her, but gets tangled up in her own feet for a second] My mom's first wedding had dancing. She did something called the waltz.

Chase: [Falls over on top of Elanhil when he (Elanhil) rolls his way. Then gets to his feet, keeping an eye on Griffin and Elanhil.]

Mordir: Argh, I'm itching for a duel.

Me: Then go ask somebody.

Mordir: [Looks at me as if he expects me to say more]

Seymour: What are you waiting for?

Mordir: I didn't expect such a positive answer.

Me: Mordir, even though you drive me up the wall sometimes, I only restrain you from killing people. You have liberty to do as you please otherwise.

Mordir: [Isn't entirely sure what to say to that Uh.... OK...

Seymour: [Smiles] Go on, take this one with you. [Nudges a sleepign Cory]

Cory: What?

Mordir: Do i have to?

Me: Go on, you two go find something to do. But don't interfere with any duels unless specifically asked. Clear?

Tynx: [Slams full force into Merashath. Digs his talons firmly into Merashath's middle.] Ha!

Seymour: You might want to keep in mind, little one, that you deprived your rider of his blade.

Tynx: I did? Oh shoot. Fine. Thysal, catch! [Flings Merashath and Tanner Thysal's way] I'll be right back! [Dives down and picks up Iri's sword with his tail] There you go. Sorry about that. [Flies back up to join the fight]
