Shawn: Catch 'em, Ember!

Me: *smiles* How you doing, Jay?

Jay: Uh oh. *scrunches down* Well, at least he missed.

Shawn: Mmm... Can I ride-

Me: Um, no, not unless Chayn invites you. And you'll lose, you know. You're not 100% good.

Shawn: I'm not?

Me: *cocks an eyebrow*

Shawn: It was a joke.

Thysal - (bares her teeth in a grin) Yeeeaaaaaahhhhh! (spins around and meets Merashath claws first, then uses him to launch herself off again. Whirling, she flies close to the ground, then soars back upwards) Now you know how Dragonriders feel. Isn't this great?

Ryan - I hope he holds on really tight.

Ember - (starts squeaking in his sleep)

Akira - I wonder what they're both dreaming now.

Shawn: Aw, me too. *smiles at them and turns her attention to Jay*

Jay: I know now. Actually, it's kind of fun. *gets into dragon riding mode*

Me: Now I get to develop this side of him.

Jay: <excited grin> Let's get him, Thysal.

Shawn Is that a good thing?

Me: Actually, yes. This "adventurous" side of him has been lacking.

Tynx: [Tail twitches, and his lip curls into a half snarl, then relaxes] The monkey fell with my fur.... he will die... and he tickled me...

Cassie: Violent dream. Poor monkey.

Cory: Worth a shot [Cuts at Seymour chest, knocking aside the staff at the same time. Then spins and slices again]

Seymour: [Jumps backward, barely avoiding the second attack]

Me: Wonder how long caffeine takes to wear off for him?

Chayn: I'll be waiting [Glides down and lands by Shawn] Hop up, little one.

Tanner: Hey, the Dew is still around? *pops open a two liter bottle* No worries Jay! It's quick work getting the hang of it.

Pernoxnix: Although I believe it to be quicker if one has a tail.

Shawn and I: *snicker at Cassie's comment and Tynx*

Jay: That is an interesting theory, Pernoxnix. I agree, Tanner.

Shawn: *looks at me*

Me: Go for it. You'll need the practice.

Shawn: *climbs on and sits like Jay is* I'm ready, Thysal.

Tanner: man, that looks fun.

Me: I can't wait to introduce Erronys! Tan will have so much fun!

Chayn: [Unfurls her wings and glances at Tanner] You may have a turn later, if you like [Leaps into the air and circles] Flying is glorious! [Roars with pleasure]

Cassie: I wonder what would happen if you tugged his foot a little?

Tynx: [Opens one eyes sleepily] I wouldn't.

Cassie:

Jay: You agree?

Shawn: Totally.

Me: Hey, guys, don't leave Merashath out of the equation.

Jay: Right... *cough cough*

Shawn: Oh, joy.

Chayn: Be ready, little one. Things might get a bit sharp.

Me: Sharp turns.

Cassie: Oh.

Chayn: [Flies over to Thysal and Merashath]

Shawn: I'm ready. <excited grin>

Jay: *looks at me* Make sure we don't die, please.

Me: Aargh! You're not going to die in here!

Kai: I don't remember. You need to post more.

Me: Yeah, yeah. Now, go duel somebody or something.

Kai: Fine. *looks around* Iriviel Fairviel, I challenge thee to a duel.

Klasina: Don't die again, please?

Kai: That was you that died.

Klasina: But you nearly died.

Kai: But I didn't, so you can't say "again".

Me: Guys, you aren't supposed to argue.

Kai & Klasina:

Me: Maybe I should bring Roel in. He doesn't even have a personality yet...

Thysal - (whistles in greeting as she spots Chayn and Shawn) This is great! (banks to the left to meet them) Hey, I haven't seen Merashath in a while. Jay, do you see him? Think he's given up?

Zanya - Not likely.

Ember - (squeaks and wakes himself up. Lifting his head, he looks around and yawns)

Sylvia - Eat, sleep, and yawn. That's all you ever do, little one. (kisses him on the head)

Me: *coos over Ember* I want a baby dragon!

Shawn: Hello, Jay and Thysal! I don't see him.

Jay: Me neither. Do you think he's planning a surprise attack? *glances at Shawn*

Me: Aw, you actually care!

Jay: Don't rub it in.

Shawn: *pinks*

Merashath: *appears on the ground next to Tanner* Hop on, young one. *Is standing up, so if Tanner embarks he must hold on as if it were a piggy back ride.*

Trina: *laughs* Get the monkey, Tynx! *turns to Ember* Did you catch him?

Shawn Oh dear. Um, Thysal, remember how you told Jay to imagine fighting on a dragon? I don't think imagining is necessary anymore.

Jay: This will be epic. *excited and ready* Hey, at least it isn't Azriel on his back.

Me: *smothers a laugh*

Derek: *laughs easily* That's better, isn't it Cory? *watches dragons* In my world...

Me: Be careful you don't offend anyone, please.

Derek: I know this world is different then mine. I know in some worlds dragons are the sentient equal of humans, and a boon to a civilized society, agents for good.

Me: Wow. How do you know all that?

Derek: Never mind. Now then, in my world, dragons are vicious beasts, and it is somewhat alarming to see innocent people being carried off by them without protest...

Me: Why do you keep hanging around?

Derek: Because you are ignoring me.

Me: That's only because I can't quite figure out Katherine in this new story, she's cold, silent, proud,

Derek: The Ice Princess.

Me: Yeah. How'd that happen?

Derek: I wish I knew.

Me: I bet you do...

Chayn: [Swishes tail] Keep watch. Goodness knows what will happen.

Mordir: Even I can't deny that dragons are fascinating creatures.

Me: I don't think anybody can.

Cory: [Blocks Seymour's staff and jumps back] Lots better. Thank you. [Jumps as Seymour tries to cut at his legs, then thrusts]

Seymour: [Spins and slices, knocking aside the sword. Then counters with a thrust]

Cory: [Backflips, somehow kicking Seymour's staff away and out of Seymour's grip] Where'd that come from?

Me: No idea. [Whistles innocently]

Cory: I win. [Sides heaving]

Seymour: Good, because that liquid wore off a while ago. You fight well.

Cory: I fight better than you only when you're caffeinated. Bt that was satisfying.

Me:

Tynx: Where's the monkey?! I'll rip him to-

Me: Easy, tiger. There's no-

Mordir: No! Don't spoil it!

Me: What's with you?

Tynx: I'll find it! He'll be sorry he antagonized me!

Chase: He takes dreams way too seriously.

Shawn: I will, Chayn. *smiles at Tynx* That naughty monkey! Were there turkeys, too?

Me: You had to bring that up.

Jay: Hey, Thysal, do you think we should practice some sharp turns while we can?

Shawn: That might be wise...

Jay: Especially considering the bike incident.

Shawn: *glare*

Jay: I will

Tanner: *scrambles onto Merashath's back* just don't kill me. Oh man, this is gonna be awesome...

Skooter: *bounds up from a stream* Hello, what is going on?

Me: Skooter is a striped otter (lovingly named for the fact that he looks like a skunk and an otter). Tanner and Pernoxnix won't be able to see him because he's not in the same point of the story as they are currently at.

Derek: @Me: Bring Katherine here, please?

Me: what?

Derek: She's love it here, the children, the dragons, the beauty and fun. There's no wars or responsibility, just pure.. abandonment. It would give me a chance to...

Me: no cheating on your story.

Derek: Please?

Me: she's a princess, for crying out loud, and right now she's acting like one too. What would I do with her here?

Derek: You wouldn't have to do anything. Just...

Chayn: This should be quite the experience.

Tynx: Now that you mention, I think there was! Yeah, a turkey and little babies!

Cory: [Hands the sword back to Derek] Thank you very much for letting me use this.

Phillip: Ready, Hadwin? You'll probably win, because even though I would be considered a great Melcorat in my world, my "magic" is very limited. (focus sunlight to create fire, and hurls a great fireball at Hadwin)

Griffin: (slides his sword down Elanhil's and follows it up with a flurry of slashes at his shoulders, watching Chase cautiously out of the corner of his eye)

Tesra: Does no one here do archery?!?!?!

Matt: hehe! (darts in and out of groups of charries)

Skooter: *thumps foot twice* oh yes, behind the ear... *to Tynx* Hello fox.

Chase: [Attacks from behind]

Cassie: [Pets Skooter behind his ears] Heehee, you are so cute.

Tynx: Hello. I'm Tynx.

Mordir: I have a feeling everyone knows that.

Me: Don't start.

Me: I'm doin' a pretty good job of it in your story.

Cory: And the lady has rendered him speechless.

Kai: To clarify, since my author is lazy, I was challenging Iri.

Shawn: *hides a laugh at elves who finish the others sentences*

Jay: Don't push it. *sees the shadow* Whoa, what was that?

Thysal - (soars over towards the appearing shadow) Hang on, Jay. I'm not sure, but I'm guessing dragon. Blazeheart, would that be you?

Zanya - How'd you know?

Me - Random guess, I suppose.

Zanya - Bet you anything that you're wrong.

Ember - (Spots a falling leaf and starts playing with it, pouncing and snapping at it)

Akira - Aww, hi Scooter, and welcome! I'm a river creature as well, so it's great to see an otter here. (strokes him gently)

Sabre - Good to see someone from the same neck of the stream, eh?

Silver - (goes over to Kian) HI!

Ryan - Will she ever settle down?

Me - Wait until she grows two years and two tons older, alright?

Niarah - She's going to be bigger than Thysal? I'm so glad I'm not in the same story . . .

Chayn: Smells like a dragon. Isn't Aaron a Dragon Rider?

Me: I like Iri's full name.

Mordir: You like any fantasy name.

Me: No one asked you.

Mordir: I know.

Tynx: [Feels his fur ripple as the shadows soars overhead] That was cool. Can I ride- Oh wait, I don't need to ride! [Shifts into a big black dragon] Shapeshifting rocks.

Me: Rocks? My character are using words that normally wouldn't come from them.

Cory: Because they're coming from you.

Mordir: He's-

Me: Don't start.

Shawn: Cool, Tynx!

Me: Don't you start going completely off vocabulary!

Jay: Actually, I agree with Mordir.

Me: *glare*

Matt: I have new words too!!!!! (continues jumping around) Yo! Hey! What up, man?! Sweet!!!!!!

Skooter: *arches back and growls at Tynx*

Me: Sorry, let him know you're still you, his kind have a history with dragons, and his bite is toxic...

Jay: Welcome, Aaron and Blaze! You are both welcome.

Shawn: *gravely* You protest your father, Iri? *wrinkles brow somberly*

Me: *dies*

Me: Are you trying to pick a fight?

Shawn: *gravely* That is a serious charge. What is the nature of your inquiry, if I may request an answer.

Jay: *shakes his head* Uh, can you guys cut it out?

Tynx: Thank you. Lets out a roar and leaps into the air a little awkwardly]

Cory: I'm with Shawn. Don't pick fights with your parents. It doesn't go well.

Tynx: [Lands gently] Sorry if I scared you, Skooter. I'm not really a dragon.

Mordir: He's completely ignoring both of you.

Me: I get that a lot from you guys.

Kai: Although it would be an honor to duel you, Fairviel, I do believe I challenged your son, Iriviel. Unless, of course, our authors have any objections?

Klasina: *laughes at Kai trying to sound proper*

Me: *joins Klasina's laughing*

Kai: I feel totally unrespected.

Me: It's called revenge.

Kai: *seething*

Me: Revenge on characters can be soooo fun sometimes.

Klasina: *laughter*

Matt: Yes! Someone else with lots of energy!!!!!! (jumps over to Kian) Hi! I just had some dew of mountain, it is very good, here, try some!

Me: Matt! Why were you here by yourself up there?

Matt: uh-oh, time to hide.

Jay: *joins Amanda and Klasina*

Elanhil: *Tries to block Griffins quick movements, but can't so he ducks and steps aside.* AAH! Help!

Hadwin: Where did Philip go?

Trina: Whoah, Tynx! What happened?

Me: You'd better hang on, guys.

Shawn: Trust me, I am.

Jay: This. is. epic.

Me: Here's what Phillip did. It was in the same post as Griffin's last move.

Griffin: (flips backward over Chase, so Chase is directly in front of him and Elanhil behind Chase, directs a slash at the back of Chase's knees and then a stab at his chest.)

Chase: [Rolls to the right, avoiding the slice to his knees, but his chest gets cut] Ow.

Cassie: Oh, Chase!

Chase: I'm fine. It's not too bad... no blood yet.

Me: Key word: yet.

Chase: You need to do better.

Me: Don't blame me.

Seymour: He has every reason to blame you.

Me: Who's side are you on?

Chayn: [Roars in excited anticipation] Come and catch us, if you dare!

Cory: Don't antagonize him. You three have people to take care of, too.

Chayn: [Snorts and circles slowly, watching the ground.]

Tynx: I shifted into a dragon. [Takes off into the sky again] I'll try it.

Me: Oh dear...

Seymour: I won't feel sorry for you if you get hurt.

Tynx: Aw, relax, I'm not going to hurt him.

Me, Seymour, and Cory: Him?!

Tynx: [Swoops down and takes Iri with him into the skies]

Me: Tell me I have the right to disown him.

Cory: You shouldn't. But I do suggest to place restriction on what he can do.

Me: I should've done that a whole ago... Tynx, put the poor Elf down! You're going to get yourself killed!

Tynx: No I won't.

Seymour: Rebellious and reckless. Nice combination.

Mordir: And you thought I was a trouble-maker.

Shawn: *laughs at Tynx and Iri* Way to find out, Tynx. Yeah, try and get us, Merry!

Jay: You think Tynx is a trouble maker? *shakes his head* Come and get us, Merashath!

Me: *has despaired for her characters sanity*

Jay and Shawn: You should talk.

Derek: *watches Tynx* Are you sure that's safe?

Me: I'm quite sure it's not.

Derek: I want to try it.

Me: No way.

Derek: *ignores me* Raedon!

Me: What on earth? You're not supposed to know each other! You're from separate stories! You're in separate genre! You're on separate forums!!!

*Raedon swoops in, changes shape a couple of times, and finally settles on a green, serpentine dragon*

Derek: This is gonna be fun...

Griffin: (presses his advantage, speeding up his motions in a flurry of slices, left arm, right arm, left leg, right leg, trying to stay wary of Elanhil at the same time)
