Me: (to Amanda) Warheads are EXTREMELY sour hard candies. My mouth is twitching thinking about them, hence the "mischievous" comment. And yes, they are sweet in the middle.

Kai: *glances at Jay* What's it?

Klasina: Okay. *takes one* OOOOOOOOO!

Me: Oh, okay. Sour, Klasi?

Klasina: YUMMY!

Me: *raises eyebrows* Evidently Wind Phantoms don't mind sourness.

Klasina: Ooooohhhhhh thiiiisss iissss sooooooooo gooooodddd.

Kai:

Me: I agree. I don't like sour.

Klasina: Oh, it is sweeter in the middle. Yuuummmmyyy...

Kai:

Me: I wonder what would happen if I gave her Mountain Dew...

Kai: Ahem.

Me: Oh, somebody asked about Phantoms. They are like elves, if you want something to compare them to. Most have at least partial control over one or another element. All can blend into things.

Kai: I am a Mist. I can throw up a wall of fog around me, and hide myself in any type of fog or precipitation. I don't know what else I can do...

Me: There are many different types, I haven't worked them all out yet. Shadow, Mist, Fire, Water/Ice, and Earth.

Kai: Mist is most powerful!

Me: I'll let him think that until he meets up with a Shadow...

Jay: You like my- I mean, Shawn.

Shawn: *coughs* I'm glad you like it, Klasi. *is prepared for a thwack*

Me: Intriguing... They like sour and sweet things.

Shawn: Ooh, try some chocolate.

Jay: Please don't give her Mountain Dew. Seriously, please don't.

Me:

Zanya - Go Seymour! I have never seen a caffinated elf before.

Thysal - Candy? Did I miss something? (stands up)

Sabre - Don't hype the dragon on sugar! Speaking of which . . .

Silver - (pokes her head out of the Mountain Dew, then ducks when she spots Ryan charging towards her)

Ryan - (dives into the MD after her and grabs her tail)

Silver - (wiggles loose and rockets out of the liquid, charging across the room) Yaaaahhhh!

Ryan - (stands up, drenched) Silver! Get back here! (takes off after her again)

Zanya - You looked like a drowned water rat, Ryan. And do I need to mention how immature you sound?

Akira - Ohh, welcome Kai and Klasina! Phantoms, really? Awesome. So what else can you do?

Ember - (opens one eye and watches Shawn and Tynx. Squeaking, he jumps down from Sylvia's arms and runs over, excited)

Sylvia - Careful, boy.

Niarah - (appears seemingly out of nowhere) You know, author, you really need to tone down your dragons. You have what . . . three of them? And they're all hyperactive. And probably annoying everyone.

Me - And?

Jay: *fails to hide his laughter at the sight of Ryan chasing Silver*

Shawn: Aw, he's so cute! *bends down and looks at Ember* Do you want to play, Ember? *unwraps a piece of chocolate and tosses it to him gently* I'll be gentle, Sylvia.

Me: *smiles at all the cute/funny things going on*

Derek: I'd like to see any of them against Janin.

Me: you enjoyed that last scene too much... hey! What are you doing in here anywhere?

Derek: *shrugs* don't look at me, you're in charge.

Me: You can keep thinking that. *looks around* Is anyone else here?

Derek: Nope, just me. *watches Seymour and Cory closely* Are they just fighting with staves then?

Me: I have no idea, I lost track of who's fighting whom.

Derek: I know that, or I wouldn't have to ask.

Me: you got smart somewhere...

Derek: Thank you. I have to be, remember?

Me: yes, yes, I know...

Note to others: Derek is the MC of the first part of my WIP, the Prince of Yen. Apparently he... decided to explore my computer.

Cory: Seymour has the bladed staff, I have a knife.

Seymour: A poor choice, in my opinion.

Cory: I know. [Cuts upward]

Seymour: [Deflects the attack and almost knocks Cory's knife out of his hand]

Chayn: [Watches Ember and Silver with interest]

Me: I've never seen a caffeinated Elf either. It's interesting to make him appear somewhat 'hyper' while not making him look really young.

Tynx: Why can't I try some?

Me: Did you not see what we went through with Ponkin, Chayn, and Thysal? And now there's Silver, too. Besides, you get the candy.

Tynx: [Reaches up and catches the candy]

Sheyna: [Kneels down] Over here, Silver!

Brandon: Phantoms sound really cool.

Me: Ok, but I'm sorry. Did NOT read all of that. Re-post any actions directed to me, please.

Ember - (leaps and catches the candy that Shawn throws, then goes and sits next to Tynx and watches the duellers)

Thysal - Aww. What a little mooch. Cuteness. @Elanhil: If you want me to repeat my action of attacking Merashath, I will gladly get caffinated again and show you.

Sabre - No you don't!

Ryan - (stops running and glares at Jay) Instead of laughing, would it be too much to ask you to help?

Silver - (Gallops over to Derek) HI!

Zanya - Careful, Silver!

Silver - (whirls and goes to Sheyna) You called?

Jay: Um, I'd rather-

Me: Sure he will.

Jay: I will?

Me: Yes.

Jay: *helps Ryan* I'm being forced against my will! Help!

Shawn: Aw... *smiles*

Jay: Thysal, don't. Show him without caffeine or quote your action, please.

Me:

Tynx: [Looks at Ember] Hello. Who do you think will win?

Cory: [Gets cut on the shoulder] Hey!

Seymour: Focus, Cory!

Cory: I can't focus when I'm trying to keep from getting killed by a half-elf who has no regard for his own defense whatsoever.

Sheyna: [Pets Silver] Yeah. You are so cute! [Cuddles him]

Brandon: Is she able to befriedn everyone she sees?

Gabriel: Probably. If she can calm an outraged pirate, she can befriend a dragon.

Chayn: [Sniffs Ryan's hair] Does Silver always cause this much trouble?

Brandon: Depends on if he's ever been introduced to caffeine.

Me: Oooh, Caffeinated Thysal... dangerous.

Elanhil: Where does my duel stand?

Chase: Um, it stands dormant. We're still waiting for Griffin.

Derek: @silver: Hello. @Me: I like this place.

Me: I hope so. You came here of your own volition...

Derek: @Cory, that was a poor choice of weapon, I'm afraid, to choose against a bladed staff, which sounds quite formidable. If the rules do not forbid it, I would gladly lend you my own blade-

Me: Stay out of this, Derek.

Is it just me, or does HW seem slow this time of year?

Elanhil: Aw, man! Come on, Griffin!

Cory: I know. It's all I've ever used. I am more or less being taught how to use a sword, but it's so large!

Seymour: But it would work for situations like these. [Almost disarms Cory again]

Cory: Excuse me? If you hadn't let yourself get pressured into drinking that stuff, we wouldn't have this problem! [Half angrily swipes at Seymour] But on that subject, if you have a sword you can spare, I'd love one. I doubt Seymour would notice too much, the way he's going.

Gabriel: And I thought Brandon and I were competitive.

Brandon: Seymour's caffeinated. This doesn't count. Ours is pure rivalry.

Jay: (to Fairivel) You might enjoy some people ignoring you, sir.

Shawn: *plays innocent* That is one interesting duel. *sits by Tynx and Ember*

Me: Lady E, if you get some tips, please let me know. My only suggestion is that you could analyze what made the coronation good in LotR...

Me: @Lady E.: Coronation? Sounds like the end of the book. Parties? Sounds like endings. Endings sound good. Endings make me happy. Endings make me excited that you're almost done...

Derek: I wish you liked my story that much...

Me: Oh, hush up. Go look at the shiny new notebooks I got to write your story in and stop complaining. @Lady E: Ceremony. Long boring speeches. Depends on where you're at and who's in charge, but usually processions. And food. Lots of food. And fancy clothes that somebody is bound to be uncomfortable in. One of the best descriptions that I remember of a coronation is, (of all places) The Prince and the Pauper. Parties I'm not so sure on, besides food and fancy clothes. And maybe dancing.

Derek: Done yet?

Me: Fine. Go talk to Cory.

Derek: *hands Cory his sword* My author is uncertain about what this looks like, so use your imagination. It's not much more complicated than fighting with a knife, just longer. And heavier. but the principal is the same. The thing you've got to watch out for is getting carried away with swinging it too vigorously and overbalancing yourself. Otherwise, you should be fine.
*@Me: anxiously* this isn't going to dull the blade, is it?

Me: It was your idea, Derek. But no, it'll be fine. Nothing is permanently damaged in this world.

Derek: All right then. Have fun.

Elanhil: *reading* OOH! You just posted the chapter where we get attacked by Merashath! Cool!

Me: Yup!

Hadwin: You were weak back then.

Elanhil: *Shrugs* I was only a wizling. I could do much better now.

Merashath: Where is that Thysal?

Shawn: Now this is a really interesting duel.

Jay: I wonder what would happen if it was 3 way...

Me: No, you are not. Forget it.

Jay: Why not?

Me: 1, I can't commit to it with finals coming up, and 2, do I need to redirect you to pages 75-76?

Jay: Yeah, I shouldn't.

Shawn: *reads* Oh...

Jay: Don't start.

Me: *sighs* I'm in suspense until January about Advocate Voice.

Dani: Well, you can write more of my story.

Me: Where did you come from?

Shawn: No, our story.

Dani: Uh uh. My story.

Shawn: Oh yeah?

Dani: Yeah!

Me: Hey! Why don't I decide?!

*all characters turn and give me a blank look*

Me: What? I'm the author?

Dani: Well I think-

Jay:

Shawn: *glares* Thaph nogh fairff.

Me: I'm the author.

Cory: Thank you, good sir. [Ducks as Seymour swipes at his head] Here goes. [Attacks full force, sending Seymour into a retreat]

Me: He's not so much hyper as he is extremely reckless.

Ponkin: I want a sword! Gimme one and I'll hack off the whiskers of every cat-

Tynx: [Pounces on Ponkin] Hush up, moron, there are cats present!

Ponkin: Faht?!

Tynx: They've been in here for a while. So you'd better keep your mouth shut.

Cassie: [To Fairivel] How old do Elves usually get in your world?

Chase: Cassie!

Cassie: What?

Mordir: Let her be. There's no harm in asking.

Sheyna: Oh, wow. Gabe, Brandon, more Elves! This place is so cool!

Gabriel: Yeah.

Brandon: You're just spilling over with enthusiasm, aren't you?

Gabriel: I am, can't you tell?

Tynx: They're weird.

Me: They have an odd story/short story life.

Tynx: ???

Cassie: I like parties! Especially when there's dancing! And of course there has to be food! And... and... what else?

Ponkin: Nuts!

Tynx: Froofy and formal stuff.

Me: Froofy? What kind of a word is that?

Tynx: One you made up.

Mordir: Fail.

Tynx: Naw, she just tried to throw me under the bus.

Seymour: They would be if you didn't make them. [Attacks Cory viciously]

Cory: [Ducks and thrusts]

Niarah - (shoots Ponkin a frigid glance) Watch your chattering tongue, bushtail, or you might find it missing.

Sabre - (Tugs her tail) Relax, the fox took care of it.

Ember - (watching the duellers, his golden eyes huge with interest. He indicates Cory as the one whom he wants to win)

Sylvia - (sits next to Shawn, Tynx, and Ember) Since when did my dragon learn how to bet on duellers?

Zanya - Lets face it; we're all bad influences.

Thysal - (leans in close to Merashath so her nose is almost touching his. She waves her tail restlessly) Hello. You wanted to see me?

Zanya - (bounds over to Eruwaedhiel's charries) Hi! We missed you here! I was wondering when you'd show up again! Oh Kian, I love your theme song.

Ryan - Thanks, Sheyna for helping catch Silver. She's a handful.

Silver - Aren't I, though?

Me - I love Mordir's smart-alecky attitude. He's hilarious.

Me: Okay, wow, sorry. I had a swim meet, a really busy Thanksgiving week, and then no internet last week, but I'm finally getting back on, so we can start the duel, finally!

Griffin: Okay, I'm ready to continue.

Phillip: And we can start now, Hadwin.

Tesra: Why were you gone so long?

Timuth: He just said why up there. (points up)

Matt: Oooh... I want some dew of mountains, it looks like fun!!!!!

All charries: no.

Me: Okay, next post you can have some.

Charries: What!!!!!!!!!!

Matt: Yay!

A swim meet? Wow, it must be warm where you're at...

Me@Riniel: Or indoors.

Hadwin: *smiling* Good. Your turn can be first.

Elanhil: Aha! There you are! *Doesn't wait for Griffin to get ready but thrusts directly at Griffin, but at the last moment cuts upward.*

Merashath: Whoah, *stares downward, and throws Thysal downward with his left wing.* Bug off, knave.

Me: Pardon, he's a bit touchy.

Thysal - (laughs, then clamps her jaws around Merashath's leg, flipping him over her shoulder as she stands up) Sorry, friend, but you asked for it.

Niarah - Thysal! Leave the poor villain alone!

Thysal - (lays down with a snort, ignoring the snow leopard) If anyone wants me, I'll be over here.

Me - Elanhil(author), you're on a swim team? That's really cool.

Ponkin: Sorry, I forgot. I meant normal cats. Ones that don't have weapons or can talk. Those kind are sooo annoying!

Tynx: Next time, clarify. You just about got your whiskers trimmed.

Sheyna; Not a problem. She's a cutie. We don't have dragons in my world, so seeing one here is awesome.

Cory: Your welcome to hunt them out in Piensor any time. [Winces as Seymour cuts his leg, but retaliates forcefully]

Chase: Sweet! Welcome back!

Me: Those two are excited.

Tynx: Who d'you think will win, Sylvia?

Mordir: I think I'm better this way than a heartless assassin.

Me: I agree. Although you're really annoying.

Mordir: In a funny way?

Me: Most of the time.

Shawn: I have no idea who will win.

Jay: *grins secretly, watching Merashath and Thysal* This is rather entertaining.

Me: Wow... I ran out of things to say. Can someone do something to Jay, please?

Jay:

Kai: Do something to him? Why?

Klasina: How about you talk to your girlfriend Sh-- OW!

Kai: *glares* Don't even suggest such a thing.

Shawn: *wants to sink through the floor*

Jay: Oh-kaay... *glares at me* Nice going.

Me: What? Kai didn't say anything.

Shawn: No, Klas did. *ready to avoid thwacks*

Me: See?

Jay: You're blaming a figment of someone else's imagination.

Me: No comment.

Jay: *eyes Kai and Klas*

Me: I don't know how he would react yet... Fractalling is in order.

Jay: No! Not the system of death!

Me:

Me - The System of Death, I like that.

Sylvia - Actually, I think Seymour's going to win.

Ember - (Growls)

Sylvia - He wants Cory to win, for some obscure reason.

Ember - (curls up against Tynx and yawns contentedly)

Niarah - (Ruffles Ponkin's ears) That's alright. I'm not a fan of housecats either.

Zanya - So, what do you want us to do to Jay? I'm open to all sorts of options.

Akira - Ahh, poor Shawn. Don't worry, you'll get over the embarrassment. In the meantime, you can make your author suffer for putting you in such a position.

Me - Don't be giving them any ideas . . .

Me: Give the credit to Eruheran. And seriously, I love that thing (CFS). It's amazing.

Shawn: Oh, yes, I can... but it wasn't really her *gestures to me* fault.

Jay: Yes, it was. *glares at me*

Me: *holds up a thesaurus* You want to try that, buddy?

Jay: *"ignores" me and studies Kai* Well, Azzy isn't here.

Shawn: *dies of embarrassment* Sigh. *smiles at Ember*

Tynx: [Smiles and cuddles up beside Ember]

Me: I don't really know who'll win, either. I guess we'll just see who drops first.

Cory: [Trips Seymour just before the half-Elf swings at his chest. Then he jumps back] This is getting dangerous.

Mordir: You're dueling, it's bound to be dangerous.

Chayn: [Circles above Jay] Fly with me, little one. [Mischievious tone]

Mordir: oh-

Me: Shushy!

Mordir: Shushy?

Me: I tried spelling shush, I've no idea where the "y" came from.

Mordir: [Lifts an eyebrow]

Me: Watch it, you have your story at stake here.

Mordir: True. But I don't think my situation could get any worse. I'm already stuck in your world, and you've got me in your barn. In the middle of winter, might I add.

Me: I can always kick you out or call the police. Remember, you tried to break into the house.

Tynx: You two fight like brother and sister.

Me: *laughs* Not me. Griffin.

Merashath: *stands up and kicks Thysal* good riddance. And good-bye. *takes off and flies upward towards Chayn* You're in my airspace.

Trina: *Stretches.* Have you forgotten about me?

Me: Oh, sorry. yes I did.

Trina: Humph. Don't do it again.

Me: *gestures towards all the characters* Interact then.

Trina: *kneels down and pets Tynx and Ember.*

Tynx: [Smiles contentedly]

Chayn: [Looks at Merashath] How do you know you're not in my airspace?

Mordir: Don't go there, dragon.

Chayn: [Snorts]

Jay: Uh, fly with you? How would I do that? I don't have wings. Plus, Merashath is up there...

Me: *facepalm* You asked for it.

Shawn: *plays with Tynx's ears gently and cocks her head, smiling sweetly at them both* Aren't they sweet, Trina?

Me: Aw... :3

Thysal - (growls, her eyes glinting like silver flames) I can't believe you just did that, Merashath. (launches herself into the air and begins circling him)

Niarah - Thysal, no!

Thysal - Forget it. On guard, villain!

Niarah - There's going to be a battle royal up there.

Akira - Which means I'm taking cover.

Ember - (Falls asleep, completely oblivious and relishing the attention)

Sylvia - Yes, they're both adorable, right Tynx? (strokes Tynx's ears)

Thysal - Oh, and speaking of flying . . . (spins around, dives down and scoops up Jay, tossing him onto her back) How's that for flying?! If it gets too intense, I can toss you to Chayn.

Ryan - Yes, I'm sure he'll appreciate that . . .

Me - Just perfect, my dragon has gone nuts.

Shawn: *plays with the end of Ember's tail*

Jay: Oh cool, an air- Hey! Put me down!

Me: Don't really, this is great!

Jay: *looks down* Okay, I'll forget about jumping. *holds on as best he can* Riding a dragon is harder that I imagined it to be.

Me: *secretly dies laughing*

Shawn: *watches Jay with a mixture of amusement and slight anxiety* I hope things don't get too crazy up there.

Me: Don't worry, he can't really die in here.

Shawn: Oh, really? I suppose you've tried it yourself.

Me: Uh, no.

Shawn: *I-told-you-so look*

Me:

Merashath: *Screeches and braces himself for the incoming Thysal.*

Trina: *Smiling* I think they're adorable. *pets Tynx, loosing interest in sleeping Ember*

Elanhil: Huh. Girls. Give me a good duel any day.

Shawn: Agreed. *smiles at both of them*

Jay: Uh oh. *grips hard and ducks his head* At least they aren't playing catch with me.

Shawn: (to me) If he dies... *shakes her fist at me*

Me: I didn't realize you would be so concerned.

Shawn: *glares and mutters something*

Me: Uh, it was indoors and I guess you could say its warm here, compared to some places anyway.

Griffin: (blocks, bringing his blade down, and then spinning around in a strike geared toward Elanhil, but directed so that if he ducks, it will come at Chase).

Phillip: Did Hadwin decide he'd rather not duel?

Tesra: I'm still game for an archery tournament, if we can get a few more people.

Matt: (standing off to the side, sips some mountain dew) Wow. (drains the can) Wheeeeeeeeh!!!!!!!!!!! (bounces all over the place)

Griffin:

Chayn: [Roars] Don't mess with dragons, Merashath.

Me: I don't think he cares.

Mordir: When a villain's been insulted or challenged, he usually doesn't care about a lot of things.

Tynx: [Is absolutely loving all the petting]

Me:

Cory: [Ducks as Seymour swings at him]

Mordir: How's that sword workin' out for you?

Cory: Pretty well, actually. The grip is a bit odd, but it's more or less easy to get used to.

Chayn: [Glides up and over Thysal and gently brushes the top of Jay's head with a curved claw (not sharp edges)] Just relax your muscles, but keep your grip firm. Let Thysal do the rest.

Chase: [Tenses and waits]

Tynx: [Has fallen asleep]

Ponkin: [Somewhere stuffing his cheeks with nuts]

Jay: *does so* *is actually excited about this* This wasn't Azriel's idea, was it?

Me:

Shawn: *smiles at Tynx and Ember* *lies back and watches Chayn, Merashath, and Jay* I'm actually looking forward to it, in a nervous sort of way, myself!

Me: Told ya'.

Shawn: Told me what?

Me: Forget it.

Hadwin: I will still duel. You can move first.

Elanhil: *Ducks, but places his sword directly above him in the path of Griffin's sword.*

Merashath: You don't know me well enough. Are you perfect? Devoid of evil?

Trina: *Sits back and sighs* How cute. *smiles hugely.*

Chayn: I could be.

Me: Chayn!

Chayn: I'm kidding.

Chase: [Instictively brings his sword up to block]

Tynx: ...Mmm... the monkey's got my sock... and my... my hammer.

Shawn: *giggles at Tynx* I wonder what Ember is dreaming.

Jay: Oh dear. This should be interesting... (to me) Why did you do this to me?!

Me: *headdesk*

Ember - (rolls on his back, tongue hanging out, with his paws twitching as if he was running)

Sylvia - Sometimes I think he's a dog instead of a dragon. (strokes Tynx) What a cutie you are.

Thysal - Hold on, Jay! (spins in midair, then swoops down and strikes Merashath with all four paws, and slaps him with her tail as she zooms back upwards. Then she tilts to the left and circles the room) Fun, huh? Imagine fighting from dragonback!

Silver - I wanna fly!

Ryan - Hey girl, you're a water dragon. You have other talents.

Silver - Yes, but not flying!

Zanya - (watching Matt) Oh no . . . (shifts into a feline and mingles with the snow leopards) I'll be over here, thank you very much.

Niarah - C'mon, Cory! Offense is the best defense! Seymour, don't forget to keep your guard up!

Ryan - I don't think he needs to hear that.

Niarah - I'm just reminding and encouraging.

Shawn: Aw...

Jay: Whoa! *holds on* Uh, I'd rather not imagine that at the moment. *is not looking forward to Merashath's move*

Shawn: Hold on!

Me: This is fun to watch!

Jay: Maybe to watch, not so much to do.

Trina: *laughs* Oh, Tynx. *Tickles his belly* Let's see what that does to your dream. --Run, Ember, run! You can catch him!

Merashath: *shrieks, then spins around trying to claw Thysal. He misses and flies after her. As he soars away, he looks back at Chayn* I'll deal with you later.

Hadwin: *braces himself, and faces Phillip. He holds up both hands. He has no staff, or any prop.*
