So, this is nothing too serious but I'm sure you guys will understand...
I go to a Christian school and they have a Christian character award given to one (or fewer) senior every year. I really would love to achieve this award by entering my book as a project but here's the problem: the prize is a exact replica of the sword from brave heart. I KNOW RIGHT? As much as I'm freaking out over the prospect of actually owning a sword, it makes it really hard to play for the right reasons because I really want to win for God's glory.
So pray for me please people, this thing is weighing on my mind quite a lot.

I'll pray for you. That sounds like a REALLY, REALLY amazing prize, but you're right. Motives have to be right.

I know precisely what position you're in, and it's a frustrating place to be. Turning your eyes off the physical prize is incredibly hard, but I can speak from personal experience... if you wait on Him, God will give you above your deepest dreams. He will give you what is best - which is infinitely better. Praying for you!
