I enjoy ice skating, down hill skiing, watching snow fall, golf, playing music, imagining things, and occasionally playing video games with friends. Almost anything with friends.

Random Fact #124: I need a haircut.

I clicked on this thread thinking I'd have the perfect random fact for a random facts thread, only to be stumped by learning it has to be a fact about me. Haha. Well then, I'll give a couple of those and then post the fact I wanted to post, and then I'll go back to contracts homework.

I'm the eldest of eight siblings.

I'm married and have a child on the way.

I'm a law student.

My face is sorta crooked. Noticed this in the mirror one day.

One time I broke into a megachurch's baptistry via the ceiling and nearly got caught by their security.

Now the other fact: Maine is the closest state to Africa! So weird!

Random fact: My 4 year old brother said awhile ago, "Grace (a friend of ours) should name her firstborn rabbit James." He must live in a house with three significantly older sisters to be using a word like firstborn already.

I found a book printed in 1904 in the closet yesterday.

It had an inscription in the front with the pristine handwriting common one hundred and eleven years ago.

I am now thinking about how much technology could have been developed during the lifetime of Bilbo Baggins.

Random Fact #125: Finally realized why my work on a story idea I've been tossing around for the last couple years has been so hard lately - I have no plot or conflict (in the narrative sense) whatsoever. *wonders why I didn't notice this before*

I had the same problem. Time for a major overhaul. Build some antagonist characters who want the same thing as your hero.

Fact: I got my first rejection letter!

Fact: I'm going to be the Phantom of the Opera for Halloween, complete with decorating the trunk (pass out candy from trunk at church) as the Opera Populaire.

Random Fact #126: My current goal is to complete my current WIP by the end of 2015. I am currently about a third of the way done. By "complete" I actually mean just finish initial writing/first draft. Then I'll edit everything

I have a terrible sweet tooth. If you and I are hanging out, and you tell me that you've got some chocolate in your kitchen, I will eat it (but try to be chill about it so as not to give away the fact that I LOVE chocolate).

Random Fact #127: I had a haircut the other day and it took my brother over 24 hours to realize it.

Fact: My hair is about the longest it has ever been.

Fact: My hair is so long that I am able to use it as a whip, to whap unsuspecting brothers.

Sweet. That's one step closer to using it as a prehensile limb and to tie up guys who break into your tower.

Fact: Discovering your favorite artist will be doing the cover art of your novel is freaking amazing and scary.

Why scary?

I watched all three original Star Wars movies yesterday. It was fun to watch them back to back.

Random Fact #129: I just came up with a cool name for a weapon. As I always do when I 'invent' names for people, places, weapons, or other items, I googled it. Apparently, "Thundershock" is an Electric-type Pokemon move. I am crushed because I was patting myself on the back for such innovative genius.

Ach, they do that occasionally. I can't think of any recent ones, but I do that sort of thing too. XD
