Oh it would be so thrilling if you finished today! You must be so excited!

Well, I finished the chapter. :D The end is not quite as complete as I want it to be, and it seems just a bit off to me, but I'm hoping to work on fixing it tomorrow at some point, that way I can officially move onto chapter 6!

I feel like I have accomplished a lot, and I am glad that I have finally finished the chapter that has given me such fits!

Totally word count for my book now? 29k. Which means I’m a little over 1/6th of the way to completion. :P

Kaitlyn progress! ^^^^_^^^^ (And Wolfgang progress, but I already commented on that elsewhere. ;) )

Well, December is practically gone. o.O I didn't get two chapters done; I only managed one and a bit. :( Current wordcount is sitting at 24-some-odd thousand, and I'm officially approximately a third through the book. ;)

Goal for January is to finish chapter five and all of six.

Well, I'm not totally happy with the ending of the first scene is chapter 5, but it will do for now. It's only the first draft, after all. So, I am officially moving onto chapter 6. :D Hopefully things go well. T'will probably take me a couple days to write (my chapters are around 6,000 to 8,000 words each).

Well, chapter five is done already, so I think I shall revise my goal to be to write chapter six and part of seven this month.

Kaitlyn: This one was a legit Kaitlyn-length chapter. ^^_^^

I finished my novel The Silencer. My goal was 80,000 words, and it ended at 79,000 words, so that was pretty close. I unfortunately did not meet my time goal, but at least I finished the novel. :D

Hi everyone, this probably isn't the place to put this post, but...

I was planning on launching a "novella series" (5 novellas total) in 2014, but if one of them ends up being novel-length, I was going to split it into 2 parts, but then it wouldn't be considered a 5-novella series, right?

I would think it would be considered a six-book series, in that case. Like the way Twilight is now a five-movie series, since they broke up one of the books. ;) Not to compare your books to Twilight... anyway, I'll shut up now! *grins*

I'd like to finish Firmament: Machiavellian (book three in the Firmament series) this month. It's not looking likely, but I'm going to work hard. :)

I'd like to finish Firmament: Machiavellian (book three in the Firmament series) this month. It's not looking likely, but I'm going to work hard. :)

:dieshappy:

And when are you going to publish Book 2?

Hopefully in May. :) We'll see!

*begins to chant* "Sooner! Sooner!" ;)

Good gracious. Well, if you want to do most of the work for me, I suppose. ;)

It's a bit late, but congratulations on finishing your novel, Jonathan! How exciting that must be! And 79,000 words? Wow! :D

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Works in progress:

The Diegosian Mark, 115,600 words (Preparing for Publication)
The Diegosian Rider, 121,400 words (Finished)
The Diegosian Warrior, 15,000 (In Progress)
