Dear HolyWorlders,
"I love my Kindle!" I've had it for two months now, and have read about a dozen books on it already. Some I paid for, such as the Hunger Games trilogy, but there have been a great bunch of freebies too, such as Emperor's Edge, Below Mercury, Replica, and others that were part of 1-day Amazon promotions.
However, I thought I might mention something that not everyone knows -
you do not actually need a Kindle to read Kindle books
If you buy a Kindle book from Amazon, you can read it online through Amazon itself. You log onto Amazon, go to 'Your Account' then 'Manage your Kindle' where you have to sign in a second time. It then lists all your Kindle purchases. You hover your cursor over a novel's 'Actions' button, and click 'Read Now.' That's it!
Also, you can download the Kindle program to any PC or iPad. Just go here
http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000426311 to see the file to download and read on your PC. Quite wonderful. You can have sepia pages, and change the page width, font size, etc.
So! I read Kindle books on my Kindle (best choice) and sometimes online through Amazon, and other times through Kindle on my PC.
