Here's my basic idea: we'll write a story, line by line. I'll post the first line, you post the second, and so on and so forth. It can only be one sentence and should keep the story moving. Let's see where it goes! Anyone want to try?
I'll start:

Jessie never expected to see a leprechaun whizzing down the street on a unicycle, but that is exactly what she saw as she walked to school.

Take it away, guys!

This sounds like fun!


She kept walking, only to see a unicorn with a dwarf riding on it's back gallop after the leprechaun a few moments later.

The unicorn suddenly stopped, turned to her, and said, "Where to, milady?"

She frowned and looked at the unicorn, "Hm, I don't suppose you'd know of any good donut shops, would you?"

"No, but there's a good ba-a-a-gel shop just up the hill."

"How bout a telephone?"

In her mind she mused 'and to think that I saw it on Mulberry Street!'


That's what I thought of when I saw Airi's line...

"Nope, haven't got one of those," the unicorn replied, and continued galloping across the field.

Well, at least I'll be able to enjoy yummy bagels she thought while envisioning the cream cheese goodness.

This is fun!!

Unfortunately, though the unicorn tried desperately to get Jessie to the bagel shop, a storm arose and knocked the unicorn off course.

This caused the unicorn and Jessie to end up at the edge of a cliff.

"Now what do we do??" asked Jesse worriedly.

"Not a clue," said the unicorn.

A blue elevator-looking box landed in front of them with a thud.

A man stepped out wearing a bow-tie and suspenders. "Is this where the daleks are?"

"What are 'daleks'?" asked Jessie. "Are they like bagels?"

"Absolutely not!" the man exclaimed. "They are cyborgs of the greatest danger! Have you seen any of them around here?"

"Oh. Well, I don't think so," said Jesse, "though I don't know what they look like. Still, I hope you find them. Could you by any chance point us towards the bagel shop before you continue your search? We seem to have lost our way...."

"Better than just tell you," the man exclaimed, "I can take you there in my... 'box.'"

"It's just a police call box. How are you going to take me anywhere in there?" asked Jesse. She seemed to be asking a lot of questions today.

Naturally enough.

Jesse looked at the man in bewilderment. "I don't believe you," she exclaimed. "Be on your way!"

Very well." With that the man stepped into his police box and, with a whooshing noise, it vanished.

"Well that was stupid." said the unicorn. "Why did you have to go sending him away before we got directions?"

Suddenly, a bagel fell from the sky and landed in Jessie's lap.

Without batting an eyelash, she looked up at the sky and said piteously. "Cream cheese?"

A blob of sour cream landed right on the bagel.

"Ew." said Jesse. "That's not cream cheese."
