The race that I created for my book is called the Starcrafters. They are an ancient race that originates from the planet of Paragon.
Each Starcrafter comes with his/her own God-given special ability. Such as: fire; water; vision; etc...
The meaning of the name Starcrafter, you ask? God created the race to bring people into His Kingdom and He provided them with special abilities to help them fulfill their mission. As the name says, a Starcrafter crafts stars, because each star in the sky represents souls, past, present, and future, that will be brought into the kingdom. But each time a soul is lured out of the kingdom the star dies, exploding into a marvelous supernova. And as long as that supernova still burns (it takes hundreds of years for a supernova to die out) there is hope for the soul.

Did you intentionally name the planet Paragon in an effort to give a mental image to your readers, Starcrafter? :D

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

These sound really cool. I especially like how they craft stars and how they're symbols of souls in the past, the present, and the future. That gives me an amazing image.

Wow, I love this idea, Starcrafter! Especially the part Varon mentioned, that stars are souls past, present and future. The supernova idea is very unique and awesome.
