No! It hasn't been a flop! It's done very well, but Disney wrote it off and did no marketing for it, and did almost nothing to make it look like a good movie. It was the #1 movie in Russia for two weekends, and is well on its way to making back the $250 million production cost.

It's suspected that there was some corporate warfare going on with the production because Stanton is from Pixar.

The critics say it's bad, but everyone I've talked to who have seen it (Which is quite a few, because I'm in a group on Facebook petitioning for a sequel) say it's really good.

Critiques, honestly, can rarely be trusted. ;)

Thanks for that info, Varon. :)

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Works in progress:

The Diegosian Rider, 121,400 words (Finished)
The Diegosian Warrior, 15,000 (In Progress)

You're welcome.

Last time I checked, the movie had earned $180 million or so, and was the most popular movie in Russia as well as China, I think.

Aah thanks for that information, Varon. I just looked, and it said it did better overseas. :)

You're welcome.

On the weekend of March 16, it was number 3 at the box office.

The people who actually watched this movie seemed to like it. :)

Yes, I noticed that, too.
