Hi Watchtower folks,

In my monthly newsletter from splashdown books, there is a link to a free download of this anthology. If you haven't heard of Splashdown Books, they publish Christian Fantasy, Science Fiction, and now their Darkwater imprint has some Supernatural Thrillers.

The print version is like $5 on Amazon, so even if you don't have an ereader or want to read this on the computer, this is one of those good fits to fill up your free shipping requirement.

The reason this is free is because the narrator, Walt Staples, died recently.

Grace, leader of Splashdown Books, has a freebie short story as well:

Right now you can get "A Stretch of Time" by Grace Bridges for FREE on Smashwords - in PDF, Kindle and Nook format, among others. In this Kiwi-flavoured short story, a Maori grandmother passes a mystical gift to her grandchild. I hope you enjoy it! Click here for your free copy.

Thanks for posting these, Tim. Now that I have an e-reader I find myself taking advantage of these sorts of things more often.

Yeah for more HW people getting ereaders. That will help us moving forward to take advantage of free reads. Which one did you get?

Thank you, Abigail.

I'd like to say, Grace is doing a great service for Christian Fantasy and SF. If we could go tell our friends about Splashdown Books and this free offer, it would help her and her authors. I got a distrought email from her about some tough life issues, and on top of that no body downloaded the free anthology. I think the Smashword stats are wrong, but still, you could help lift her spirits by spreading the word.

Another Splashdown author, Diane Graham, just released I Am Ocilla, and her sales are not going very well. It's YA Fantasy with a Christian allegory that is beautifully woven into her world and language.
