I couldn't find a thread like this, so I though that it would be fun to see what people's favorite colors are.

Khaki green would be my favourite, so I put green.

Grey is my favorite color. But its not on there

Blue. Green is my second.

I have a lot of favorite colors and favorite color combos as well. I like a clear blue with chocolate brown, and purple with green.

I love brown, so that's what I voted. My second and third favorite colors are yellow and orange.

Also: I don't see any thread in here about favorite colors, so you should be good, Lady Ness.

How could you forget rainbow????

It would only let there be 10 colors. I would've included rainbow, and gray if I could have...

My second favourite would be black, I love the colour black.

Black & purple here! Purple is my favorite color for a very nerdy reason (violet photons carry more energy than any other visible light), and black because I love the combo with violet.

Pfft, I originally clicked 6 of the color choices and realized I'd picked too many.

I chose red and purple, but if I had my choice it'd be: red, blue, green, black, white, and purple. I can't choose just one favorite color because if I do I get sick of it. (I'm strange that way.) I like the colors I listed because I wear them well with my yellow-ish skin tone and dark hair. Plus, I like neutral colors. : )

I wish I could be as flexible as you with colors.

Red and Green are tied for my favorite colors, but black comes in a close second... err... third.

I feel as if it's the inability to decide and stick with it.

My favorite colors are forest green and dark blue.

Neon green is my favorite so I chose green. But I like almost all neon colors though...

I like blue.
Why?
Because... it's pretty, and... I like it. It's also one of my school colours.

Green and brown! Now, in a joking attempt to prove these are the best colours: what colours do rangers wear? wood elves? you get the point!

I liketh purple. I have some sort of symbolism reason, but I have no research to back me up on that. So for the most part, I just like it because it's a pretty color.

Hooray for guys that like purple!

Heliotrope! Just kidding. I like blues, greens yellows and pinks. I should have voted for yellow and pink though... I'm the first to admit liking them...

I love yellow and blue... yellow because it is so sunny and bright, and blue because it's just pretty. But, honestly, I like almost any color, except black. I'm one of those people who has a new favorite color every month or so.

ORANGE! Defiantly my favorite color. I also like turquoise, lime green, purple, and brown

There was no gray, so I chose green. I like them both equally. I also like purple.

I like the azure of a clear sky and the deep green of a forest.

And if I'm not mistaken, black is not a color. It is a lack of all color.

Except that there is such a thing as 'black' pigment. * scratches head * I suppose it's not true black, but it looks the same.

And anyway, whether it is or not you can still like it best. * grins *

You can look at the same black color as emptiness, shadow, liquid, or solid. Those last two would be pigment black, I suppose. So that would mean your favorite color is conditional on something other than color (you are saying that pigment black is your favorite color in particular?).

Colored things absorb certain colors and give back others. Black absorbs them all, and gives back nothing, that is, black. It is a color practically speaking. Technically speaking anything that does not emit light is not a color but a diminishing of color.

Metaphorically you could say that atheism is a religion in the same way that black is a color. It acts as a religion, but technically is not a religion.

I chose black and brown in the poll. If I could only choose one I would have chosen white (not necessarily because it contains all the colors).

Gray was Tolkien's favorite color apparently.

My favorite colors (that is, those that I find most useful to me at present) are:

All the colors in the gradient of honey,
All the colors in the gradient of slate,
Water gray (this includes water in the form of clouds).

In a more stand alone way, these are also useful at the moment:
Thin, phantom turquoise,
White, the color of snow.

One color combination I find interesting for some reason is:
Blue rope burning with red flame.
