I stumbled across a book called Cloud Dragon a couple days ago, by Denice Hughes Lewis. I have no idea who the author is, nor have I heard of the book. But it was free, so I started to have a read. I came across a foul word, and the kids were being nasty to each other. So now I'm being very careful in reading.

But, my question is: Has any of you read/ heard of it? If so, can you tell me if it's a good read? Is there anything to watch out for?

Cloud Dragon... Interesting name and concept....

I'm not help, though. I haven't read it. What age range of a read is it?

Whoops, it's actually Dragon Cloud. My bad.

I think it's children's fiction. Or that's what it says.

OK! I have finished reading it. Besides the foul word at the beginning, and the crummy behavior the two kids display (that's really the only part that's unimpressive), the book was very good, and exciting. :)

It starts out with a young dragon named Tazure, who is off an a mission to retrieve a special pearl that will help defend his homeland from a villain dragon. But the pearl is on Earth.

Tazure meets Jase (Jason or Jayson, I don't rmember which) and Megan, two siblings who seem to not get along. But over time, they're relationships strengthens. The siblings help Tazure retrieve the pearl.

The shaky start aside, the rest of the book is clean. The ending was exciting, but I won't ruin it. Jase and Megan both apologize for their snippy attitudes earlier in the book, and Jase becomes very protective of his sister, even though he's just as scared as she is. The ending is a little violent, and some of the other battle scenes, and Tazure seems to get hurt often, but I don't think it's anything too gory.

This is the first time I've written a review. Hopefully, it's an accurate one. :) If I've under- or overstated something, let me know. ;)
