Thanks for the poke... here is the rest (and the first part, for continuity):
Dragons are the eldest of Red World creatures, or at least counted as such. Ancient and wise once, they have degenerated... but that is another story.
Flesh: The flesh of the dragon is the highest of any natural being, or at least was in the beginning. As mentioned, dragons have degenerated substantially. Originally all dragons could speak and work craft, but over time and with the moral corruption of the dragon race, their abilities waned. They still, however, remain the strongest of creatures, formidable opponents for anyone or any thing in combat.
Spirit: Dragons are in very close contact with their spirit, hence their innate ability to wield craft, and their immensely long lifespans. The dragon spirit was initially used as the binding that caused most dragons to fight for the side of the White Cross. Over time, the connection has grown thin, and with it, the moral decline of the dragons, as they have now become only the mightiest of the wild beasts. The ancient ones live on though, and long to reclaim the glory of their race.
Shadow: The most confused part of the dragons nature. Their shadows are so separated from themselves that the shadows has a life of its own, in which form it is known as a wyrm. The wyrms rarely roam the earth; for a reason unknown they have not yet been released. Immensely powerful, dark, and nearly immune to the laws of nature as we know them they most often kill any thing they can. However, some power still holds them back, even those that roam the earth, so that they do not wield their full strength. Instead, the Shadows, the Wyrms, have begun corrupting men and dragons with promises of power. The immense power they wield is easily channeled, but never will they channel it for the good of the world. The magic cults center around their contacting, and their worship. If ever a wyrm were to be slain, the dragon to which it corresponds would be freed of its evil nature, and released. It would then be free, if it so willed, to transport directly to the White World, a place of safety, rest, and light. At the first apocalypse, the dragons will face their wyrms. Some will live, to fight another day, and others will die. It is unknown what shall decide between the two, which shall be the stronger, but it does seem that ancient writings, by some interpretations, say the allegiance of the dragon will make the difference. Those committed to evil or without commitment will be slain, as their evil natures will have been fed with all the bad they have done. But for those aligned aright, their shall be a true battle against the evil nature, to evade its power and destroy it.
