| Post subject: | Welcome to the Seven Worlds |
Before you begin to dive into my world... and before I delve out the space in which you may immerse yourself, I have a few words of advice, and caution. Not being a pessimist, I will give you the advice first. First, the Red World, which is the subject of almost all posts, being at this time yet forthcoming, is only one of a system of worlds all connected. Second, it is not a "world" per se, that is, not in the way that Narnia is its own self contained world. It is one continent, set on one globe, surrounded by other "worlds." Each of these has their own cobha, and perhaps even a different take on metaphysics. All that unites them is a common physics, and a common spiritual hierarchy. Each world has over it a supreme ruler, with immense powers. These spirit-beings, god-like, are immune to the passage of time, and in fact grow stronger every moment that passes, though only to a slight degree. These beings, designated "kings," were the creation of the White Cross. HE (as the locals of the Seven Worlds would call him), the White Cross, is, as far as we are concerned, a very special angel. HE was given the ability to create things, or at least para-create (not sub-create, just so we all know that). HE has a mortal enemy in the arch-demon Narok. Narok is, as far as we are concerned, just what I just said. He is a demon in the top ranks of Satan's forces, and has some sort of personal vendetta with the White Cross. However, being so powerful, Satan needs him for other things as well, so he only comes out to fight the White Cross rarely. As the last word of information, you must know that at one time all the worlds were connected in a pangaea. That ended when each of the kings began working for their own ends, forgetting their Master. Now each of the world/continents are separated by water, and curtains of flame. I did not forget the cautions... Warning: The world you are pondering entering is deceptively unlike our own. You may not realize just how much its people are like you, and how much you are like them. Beware: Not all is as it seems. Not even the kings understand all that is passing as the history of these worlds reveals itself. Caution: Nothing is fated. Nothing is foreknown. Nothing is foretold. The doom of men, and the worlds, hangs in the balance with every second. |
