I haven't been able to figure these out since I was a newbie. I understand the coding (I think), but I don't know the font names besides Comic Sans. Any help?

Different fonts are installed on different computers. So if I did Ubuntu Sans in there, it would probably work on mine and Dieki's computers, but no one else's (it would show up as the default sans). There are a few fonts that are generally on everyone's though, such as Arial and such like.

So it depends on what is on your computer, basically?

Right. Well, on the computer of whoever is reading the result of your bbcoding.

Do note that Harrington isn't installed on most people's computers and so won't always work. (Your signature is in a normal font for me, for instance.)

So, I'm taking it that if you don't have that font on your computer you just see it as [font=such and such] as I can just see the Harringtons on Shawn's, so that must mean that font isn't on my computer, right?

I don't think so, Elanor. I might be wrong, but I think it just displays as your computer's default font....I could be wrong, though. Correct me of I'm wrong, Dieki.
