I've had similar troubles, but I think it's my Internet service, because the speed of loading seems to change randomly.

It was slow all afternoon/evening for us,
but seems much better now.
Must have been a high traffic day for x10 or something.

Likely. That is the thing with free hosts. :) But x10 is still the best I have found out there. And it is really good.
