Is an edit by one of the Marcher Lords etc. "viewable" by all the other members?

Is an edit by one of the Marcher Lords etc. "viewable" by all the other members?

What do you mean by "viewable by other members"? If any editing is done by a moderator, editor, or Marcher Lord, there will be a note at the bottom of the post saying that the post was edited and why. |

And...you feel embarrassed because someone had to edit it? I've edited posts before, and I think it only shows up if you post something at the bottom, right?

There are two kinds of moderator's notes. There is the kind that is below the signature that is entered in the 'reason for editing' field when the editor edits it. Then there is the kind that is entered directly into the post body itself. Both are visible to everyone. Of course a moderator can edit without leaving a note (which is what they are instructed to do if there are only a couple mistakes). The reason for this is to remind everyone to post with quality and forethought. There is no shame in having a moderator's note on your post. |
