Is an edit by one of the Marcher Lords etc. "viewable" by all the other members? :?

What do you mean by "viewable by other members"?
If any editing is done by a moderator, editor, or Marcher Lord, there will be a note at the bottom of the post saying that the post was edited and why.

Drath wanted to know if everyone can see the moderator's note.

Yes, they can.

Redemption is to be purchased, to have a price paid. So I was redeemed from my master sin, and from justice, which demanded my death. For He paid the price of sin by becoming sin, and met the demands of justice by dying for us.

For all men have a master. But a man cannot have two masters. For he will love one and hate the other. You cannot serve God and sin. So I die to the old, as He died, and I am resurrected to the new, as He was resurrected.

Note: Ebed is Hebrew for bondsman, Eleutheros is Greek for unrestrained (not a slave).

And...you feel embarrassed because someone had to edit it?
I've edited posts before, and I think it only shows up if you post something at the bottom, right? :?

There are two kinds of moderator's notes. There is the kind that is below the signature that is entered in the 'reason for editing' field when the editor edits it. Then there is the kind that is entered directly into the post body itself. Both are visible to everyone.

Of course a moderator can edit without leaving a note (which is what they are instructed to do if there are only a couple mistakes).

The reason for this is to remind everyone to post with quality and forethought. There is no shame in having a moderator's note on your post.

No silly...
We only kick you off if you do terrible stuff
like misspell three or more words on one post,
misuse words like to/two/too or their/there,
or forget to capitalize the first word of each and EVERY SENTENCE!

Just kidding of course. :D

For they are not the thing itself; they are only the scent of a flower we have not found, the echo of a tune we have not heard, news from a country we have never yet visited.

All the things that have deeply possessed your soul have been but hints of it—tantalising glimpses, promises never quite fulfilled, echoes that died away just as they caught your ear... Yes, because a lot of dirty socks might stink and annoy our characters and they'll kill us in our sleep or mess our stories up when we try to write. :P

We might kick you off if you don't have a sense of humour, though. JUST KIDDING!!!

Ha ha! Very good. :D I guess we can't kick you off for lack of humor...

Is it just me, or has the conversation around here gotten more humorous?

Good. If y'all didn't start laughing soon, I might have had to start joking around. I try to stay very serious whenever possible.
