I noticed that certain topics have a little glint at the top of them ... this might be a silly question, but what is it for? Does it have a purpose, or is it just ... something shiny? :S It always occurs on seemingly random topics, with or without new posts on them. Here is a screenshot. The glint is on the icon to the left of the title: "Redwall Anyone?"

I'm pretty sure that shows up on posts you've posted on, but I could be wrong.

I noticed it randomly a few days ago, and it always shows up on the ones that I have posted in, so I think the suspicions of eruheran and others are correct. |

Pretty sure it's to show what you've posted in. I haven't made a full scientific study of it or anything, but I started paying attention to it when I first noticed it, and that's what seems to fit. |

I think so too. From what I can tell, all of the ones in "View my posts" have that. I wonder if it's new... |

I wondered if it was threads that you hadn't posted in! The thread named 'Character Introductions' is shiny for me, and I have never posted in it. 'Angels in Fantasy' is also shiny for me. Hmmm this is confusing. Haha! |

So far I've only noticed the shiny spot on topics I've posted on. I'll try and remember to watch for it. |

It wasn't shiny on this thread for me, and then when I posted on it, it became shiny. |

It's not necessarily 'shiny.' It's more of a whitish-gray dot that appears on any topic you have posted on.

I think I noticed that these dots started appearing the day I joined...or soon after. Maybe we're observant in different ways. I'm holding to the theory that they are for topics you've posted in.
