I tried to change my email on the sci-fi site. I confirmed the new email and entered my current password, as directed, and then it informed me that my account had been deactivated. It's been reactivated, but I was wondering - is that standard procedure for changing emails, or did something go wrong? I wanted to check before I attempted to change the email on this account. Thanks!

It's just standard procedure for all email changes on any accounts. If you wanted to change your email on here, go ahead and I'll reactivate you right after you do. :) You still retain your status and everything. . . it's basically a way of notify us Administrators that we have a new email address attached to an account. :)

All right, I appreciate that. I'll change it when I'm done here tonight. :) Thanks!

Well that's nice to know. I was wondering why I got an activation e-mail for Phili saying she had been deactivated. That makes sense, and now I'll know for the future.

I just figured she was a bad girl ;)

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

But Air-iii-anna! :'( I'm good, really, I am! Actually, I was worried that I'd toggled something - made too many profile changes in a day - so that's why I asked here. Thanks for reactivating me, whoever it was. :D
