Basic Formatting:

Holy Worlds Forums use BBCoding. This coding is used as a simple method to enhance the presentation of your post. Here is a very basic list of codings for your reference:

Bolding is coded like this:
Code:
[b]Bold[/b]

Italicizing is coded like this:
Code:
[i]Italicize[/i]

Underlining is coded like this:
Code:
[u]Underlining[/u]

    Listing

is coded like this:
Code:
 [list]Listing[/list]

  • Bulleting
  • Bulleting
  • Bulleting
is coded like this:
Code:
[list][*]Number one.[*]Number Two.[/list]

Embedded URL is coded like this:
Code:
[url=http://www.therebelution.com]Here.[/url]

Font size can also be altered by coding it like this:
Code:
[size=200]Huge[/size], [size=150]Large[/size], [size=85]Small [/size], or [size=50]Tiny[/size]

You can make your writing colored by highlighting the part you want colored and clicking on any color square found on the right side of your screen. You may also insert a smiley ( :) ) by clicking on the available smilies found on the left side of your screen.

Advanced Formatting:

Fonts are coded like this:
Code:
[font=Harrington]Fonts[/font]

Notes (looky here!) are coded like this:
Code:
[note](looky here!)[/note]

 Entities
  are coded like this (they can be symbols, indents (which is what the example is), etc. - basically, if you want to use an HTML code/entity, you have to wrap it in [e]:
Code:
[e]emsp[/e]

Image An image is coded like this:
Code:
[img]http://imgur.com/t81Sr.png[/img]

Highlighting is coded like this (you are going to need to know one of the numbers for the colors on the right hand side of your post):
Code:
[hlight=#004040]Highlighting[/hlight]

A spoiler (see...it's hidden) is coded like this:
Code:
[spoiler](see...it's hidden)[/spoiler]

A youtube video is coded like this:
Code:
 [youtube]ykvBESMCPH4[/youtube]

And that, folks, is the basic guide to the coding found here on Holy Worlds. If you have any questions about formatting, please feel free to ask them in reply to this thread.

HTML Coding:

HTML coding is not generally available for use on the Holy Worlds forums. The one allowance and coding we allow are HTML coded entities, for which the formatting has already been shown above as the third item in the Advanced Coding section. Please do not attempt to use HTML coding, other than entity codes (if you are familiar with them), on these forums, as they will not create the desired effect.
