I was going to do a proper introduction, but I suddenly felt shy and didn't know what to say. but hi anyway. I'm a writer though, as you must have already assumed. I've finished the first draft of one novel so far and I'm working on another that's going to take place a fairly complex world that I'm in the middle of making. And I know Miss Elizabeth. There I ended up saying plenty anyway. |

Hello Anna! *fistbump* Welcome to Holy Worlds! It's awesome how far you have progressed with your story. What is it about? [Obligatory Holy Worlds question: What are your favorite authors/stories?] |

Welcome to Holy Worlds! What genre is the novel that you've finished a first draft of? |

It's fantasy. About a girl who might be the long lost daughter of a lord and might be able to help people if nobody kills or captures or tricks her. She ran away from home and doesn't know who she can trust anymore. I've written a first draft of that. The next on is just in the planning stage and it's set in an world that feels rather like the Italian maritime republics, but with a bit of the technology Da Vinci came up with. Almost steampunk. The main character is a young woman who just inherited the leadership of a country with few good men. She must choose a co-ruler and likely husband, in six months. I'm not quite sure of all the details of how that works yet, but I have some kind of an idea. Favourite authors: I'm very fond of Jaye L. Knight's work, Narnia was the extent of my fantasy when I was young, I like some books by Susan Warner(19th C Christian author), also Eyes of E'veria by Serena Chase. My biggest favourite right now though is the Rizkaland Legends by Kendra E. Ardnek. Probably because she's a super friendly person. I'm beta reading the second book at the moment and loving it. I live in Australia by the way. |

SHE SAID STEAMPUNK. I'M IN. No, really, your second book sounds fascinating! Definitely post more about it once you get to that stage. Welcome! Also here's a cupcake. |

Thanks. It's not exactly steampunk. I'm not exactly fond of most of their fashion. It's going to for of an Italian renaissance feel, unless I come up with something else that seems cooler. I'm just borrowing what ever bits I like. And I finally choose a name for the MC. Natalia Rizzetti. |
