Changing User Names

A little birdie told me that some of you
are interested in changing your usernames.

If you would like to change your username
please post your old and new name in this thread
to help us keep track of who you are!

I would also recommend that you change it twice
to help us with the transition.
For instance for the first week or two
you could change your name to" ____ formerly ____".
Like this "Mrs. Splendiferous formerly White Raven"

After a couple of weeks you would then drop the "formerly" part
and just use the new name.

I was thinking about changing my username but wasn't sure how to it without confusing everyone.

It kept telling me the username was too long when I typed "formerly Sapphira" or anything like that after my new username. Hopefully I won't confuse anyone too bad by just changing the name?

OK. I've been wanting to change mine. I changed from Princess Iylde to Raven of the Wood. It will probably stay that way for a VERY long time.

Janin of Yen has become Vanya Katerina Jaynin. For those of you in the future who wish to know why my signature is copied below.

This is a very useful thread started by Mama Raven some time ago for a very useful purposes. Sadly it's been neglected, resulting in confusion and chaos.

If you wish to permanently change your username, do us all a favor and let us know. Post in this thread using the following format (or another one that accomplishes the same thing)

I, [old username], hereby change my username to [new username].

Thus we can keep track of who you are, helping us keep track of... other things that involve your name. Thanks!

I have changed my username to Lady Alina Goat it used to be Lady Alina Cabrera but since Seer told me to cabrera means goat in Spanish I have been wanting to change it, but haven't gotten around to it. So having my username as Lady Alina Goat really helps me to remember to look for a new last name for my MC.

I've changed my username to my penname, J. Grace Pennington, at least temporarily. But I'd absolutely love for my little sisters and anyone else who wants to to call me Ani.

I love that nickname. I might change back, I haven't decided yet.

After an agonizing half-hour on Google Translate, I am now Shinja Mimetes. Shinja means "believer" in Japanese.
(By the way, I recommend placing the definition of your new name in your signature so others aren't left wondering what it means.)
