Would you like to be published in the newsletter? That's right, we want to feature you! On December 25, we will be sending out a special Christmas issue of the newsletter, but we need your help! We would like to publish your Christmas short stories, excerpts, poetry, and even art! Just PM your submission to Zoe M. Scrivener by December 22, and we will publish it. Even better? I have a short story planned out; here's hoping I can get it done before the deadline. |

I never can remember, what are the HW rules/rights with publication? (Like, if something is published in the newsletter, do the rights still belong to the author, or revert back to them, or what?) I have a couple things I might submit. |

Good question. *looks to knowledgeable people* Do we have that information in an easy to find place?

I have four poems (so far---I haven't written my Christmastide poem for this year yet, and probably won't get to it until Christmas Day or later) that are at least somewhat Christmas-related, and you're welcome to use them: On Time (which I now wince at, but mention for completeness), Incarnation, Advent, and Christmas Dream. |

Here's a link to the HW blog's rights guidelines, which go into a bit more detail. Just ignore the parts about the blog. |

Thanks for the info, Jonathan! One other thing...does the work have to be Speculative? 'Cause I know that's what HW is all about, although not adverse to other genres, so are other genres welcome? Like, for a hypothetical example |

If anyone is running late with their submissions, submissions up until Tuesday night will still be in time to be included in the newsletter. If you are sending something long (I'd say over 250 words), please also send a summary. The summary will be put in the newsletter with a link to the full piece. |
