Hey everyone,

I haven't been around much lately as it is, but I am very officially going to be gone in the coming months. I am enlisted in the U.S. Navy as Special Forces, specifically EOD (if you all are curious as to what it entails, just look it up on the Navy website). I am home stationed for four months to do physical and psychological prep work before being shipped off to boot camp and 54 weeks of hell (pardon my language). I will not have access to personal computers or personal items at all during any of that training phase and afterwards, will have limited access as I will begin a sea tour assigned with any Special Forces unit across all branches of the military. I can be contacted via email until March 5th as of now, though that date may change as I don't have a whole lot of say when they feel I am ready to go. I will be able to access email on a very limited basis (every other week) during training. So, I'm resigning my commission on here to go prevent things from exploding. . . and blowing them up myself later for security reasons.

We are going to be sad to lose you, Hannah, I still enjoy our chats, even if they are few and far between. I am very excited for you, though! I hope God blesses you greatly as you journey on this new adventure in life.

Yes, I most definitely will be facing deadly confrontation. I am in a field the puts me in the front lines protecting my country from her enemies.
