Soooo, we've all heard the buzz about this unified login thing, right? But other than being sort of weird, what's happened?

new forum! Ta-da! It's located at holyworlds.org/citadel
Does it look kind of generic? No panicking. It will change. Eventually. Hopefully. Someday. The important thing is that it's there! And the other important thing is that we start the migrating process. The best way to do this is to go post over there, not here. We need activity to start shifting before we can start closing down. But we will be closing down; so don't drag your feet too long!

Okay, so can you humour the clueless Aussie here - what exactly do we have a fourth forum for? Is it to be the root forum instead of fantasy, and we're moving all the important threads from fantasy to it?

That's exactly it. The fourth forum is for sitewide activity--stuff that encompasses all of Holy Worlds and isn't genre-specific. No longer will all that stuff hide out on Fantasy where only part of our membership can access it. Huzzah!

The genre forums will still have their own genre activities and whatnot, however.

Um...what are ranked members? 'cuz I have access to a forum in the Citadel, and it says only ranked members may see that forum.

Ranked members are anyone who is part of a usergroup, right? Not a writer.

"Lowest" does not imply importance, only elevation.

Buhaha, there's that.

The room permissions on the Citadel forum haven't been customized yet, so you can see some forums not not actually access them. I think. Or something. Anyway we're working on getting the permissions ironed out.
