Since the Heart world still has plant life, it will be interesting to integrate emotions into the greenery.

Bees... Bees would make a really interesting World Build...

"Do you hear that? That is the sound of ultimate suffering. Seer's heart made that sound when Inesdar resurrected Triterrus. Neil makes it now."

All humor aside, it mostly  pleases me to see this.

Ah, is that the HWCS I hear, rolling in its grave? Alas, yes, the vile serpent stirs in its fall crypt, thirsting for more souls consume. But have heart! For we shall raise up the fell spear of Triterrus and drive it through the beast's wicked heart! Then my soul shall be free indeed! Muhahahaha!

Seriously, I'm done with the humor this time.

Anyway, you've set my brain a turning. I humbly offer up my linguistic and worldbuilding services.

If I may? I think that rather than having one single story, perhaps we ought to create a cosmos rich with drama, history, and complexity, and let the noble and brace participants in this drama take up novels, short stories, and serial fictions of their own!

Aside from that (and my desire to correct your association of the left brain with logic) all I can point out is that, this time around, I would like to avoid the mistake of giving each race a single, consistent culture. There are many ways that, say, the body world could manifest its cobha in a culture. Likewise, many different philosophies and perspectives may have developed amongst the elves. And the sprites seem likely to be free spirited, difficult to restrain, so I doubt they can all be lumped together.

Some questions remain. Have we gone for millenia without contact with these worlds? Or have the touched ours in a manner more like a faerie realm from a fae story?

And, as semi-official-linguist-extraordinaire-time-permitting, may I please call them something other than Elves, Dwarves, Sprites, and Giants? These names are killing the staunchly independent worldbuilder within me.

Redemption is to be purchased, to have a price paid. So I was redeemed from my master sin, and from justice, which demanded my death. For He paid the price of sin by becoming sin, and met the demands of justice by dying for us.

For all men have a master. But a man cannot have two masters. For he will love one and hate the other. You cannot serve God and sin. So I die to the old, as He died, and I am resurrected to the new, as He was resurrected.

Note: Ebed is Hebrew for bondsman, Eleutheros is Greek for unrestrained (not a slave).

Golthem already knows about this: I won't be able to write so I will lend my services of World Building, drawing for inspiration of the writers, or anything that is needed. :D

Actually, I screamed, I didn't groan. Roager and Jessie were skyping with me at the time and they can attest.

I'd just like to say...

THIS IS NOT MY FAULT.

When I was in chat with Brendan and he was yammering about this, and I nonchalantly said "Sure, go ahead!", I did not realize it would cause such angst and pain with certain of us. Therefore I am free from all guilt in this matter.

 Have fun, y'all!

I can very much attest to the fact that I thought Jordan died. ;)

So is the objective here to write a community story, or just to have a community world in which we may write our own stories?
(Open-ended question invites widely open-ended answer from Inesdar) ;)

As a side note, I was in charge of the dwarf world and other miscellaneous info (Jay and I spent several hours talking through things so I had a grasp of the situation when I came on board), so if anyone has questions or wants to know stuff on either, I'm around. Ish.... ;)

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

This looks fascinating... I love the idea of a community created world. I am new, so I am dying to know... is this still a work-in-progress? Has it been forgotten completely or is it completed and forgotten? Is there room for a newcomer to slither his head and his pen into the circle?

This project has and always is quietly alive. Just look down towards the bottom of The Village. There is a whole room dedicated to it, and we would always be glad to see people put some new energy in there. Go for it, TheWeaver!
