I downloaded the podcast a couple days ago and finished it yesterday, it was good! Now I'm left wanting to read Bethany's books along with the other 1,0874 on my list... ;)

Just finished it! I really liked it, I have attempted something like that sort of fiction (my efforts were pathetic, but anyway), and am really glad to see someone like Keith doing such a good job of it.
I don't think I agree with everything he said, but I liked how he treated some things sensitive to the fact that there are many opinions, etc...that is to say, he struck me as a humble, intelligent man. :D
I'm actually in his group on Creation Conversations, and didn't realize it was him until I saw the titles of his books. ^_^
So...he's on HW?

@Wolf: Yes, I liked how Keith made sure the audience knew what things were his opinions, and what things he believed to be facts (age of the earth and so forth), and that he encouraged you guys to go do the research yourself.

No, Keith is not on the forum. He and I have been corresponding for a number of months, per Jay's request. I'm actually planning on having Keith join me for another podcast episode, too. Keith is watching the efforts and strides of HW with interest, though. :D

*listened to it last night* I think that turned out really well! Gracie did a great job repairing our bumbles. :D We should definitely do more round-table discussions!

You did, Kaitlyn? I didn't notice. I was just glad it didn't come out sounding like I took the lead on every question. *coughs and fondly remembers some of the, ah, behind the scenes chatter that Gracie cut out* ;)

Great episode! My only problem was I didn't know who any of the voices belonged to until about halfway through the episode. :(
Well done and great thoughts!
I wanted to say one thing, though: H.G. Wells (a classic Sci-Fi writer) said most of his techie stuff he didn't explain at all or even think was remotely possible to be true. He just gave enough information that the reader would think it was plausible, then hoped the actual story kept the reader interested. That's kind of like what Aubrey said.

Just finished it and...I loved it. ^_^ :dieshappy:

I liked the discussion of the difference between fantasy and sci-fi, though I had some very abstract thoughts that I felt were not quite mentioned...but they are so abstract that maybe they were and I didn't notice because I haven't formulated them well enough. :rofl: (Yeah I'm pathetic like that)

Anyway I really liked it, it helped me think about sci-fi and made me glad that I'm attempting to write it. :D

I liked the new topic snippet. It was very similar to the regular podcast, just shorter and focusing on a specific subject--and every bit as fun as the regular podcast. ;)
