Hey everyone.

As most of us know, our brother in Christ and the founder of Holy Worlds has been going through a very trying, yet blessed time. I'm not going to go through the details here. You can read about them in the global announcement.

It's so exciting and encouraging to see how many of us are rallying behind Jay, are praying for him, and are going to work to encourage him as well.

All of this reminded me of Matthew 18:20: "For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

We are indeed gathered in God's name throughout the forum, and have been brought together even closer by this situation, and I've felt God's presence on here. But a lot of us being gathered and praying like this is not live time. It's all happening spread out. I've noticed that God's presence becomes much more powerful when people gather together in real time. So I'm here to let you know that, although we generally encourage praying through PMs, we're making an exception. We are going to be scheduling a time and day where we all can meet in chat to pray for Jay and anything else that you feel led to pray for in this situation. We can probably do an entire day/afternoon thing where you can enter into chat and leave chat whenever you want so that no one misses out on this opportunity.

So I'm here to ask, what days and times would work for you guys? Just to standardize the times, please put them in EST timezone.

I'm okay with most days:
Wednesday the seventh
Thursday the eighth
Friday the ninth
Monday the twelfth
Tuesday the thirteenth
Wednesday the fourteenth

And most times:
8 AM EST
10 AM EST
11:30 AM EST
Noon EST
most of the afternoon

I'm good with almost any day, except this Saturday. And any time before 5:00 pm or after 9:00 pm would work.

That's a really neat idea! I know my schedule's flexible, so I'll probably just keep an eye on this thread for when you plan to do it.

Just as something to add on here; me and my family, instead of eating lunch together and socialising, we have been having simple lunch food like bread and cheese and apple, taking our food aside and praying for Jay separately. If you guys want to join us in doing this that would be awesome. The more praying that goes on the better.

Dear God, we come to you with an important request. Please be with Jay right now, and his friends as well. Thank you for reminding us of Your Love, and Your greatness in all of Your ways.

Thanks! I didn't really know where to put it. It really was incredible and it touched my heart to know that people care so much and if something drastic was happening to me or any other HWer we would be in their prayers also.

I read this thread, then I went and sang "A Mighty Fortress is Our God" at the top of my lungs while cleaning the bathroom. For maybe the first time, I meant every word in my heart.

*smiles wide* I was singing Yes We Can at the top of my lungs in the car yesterday.

I was going around singing How great is our God, after we finished praying, and Mother was looking at me as if to say 'what's got into you!'

Well, last night in the car, I listened to a Christian radio station and sang songs like "God, You are My God". God made me able to really worship instead of just enjoy hearing my own voice (which is a problem I have).

When I went outside after the prayer session I was singing "Our God", etc. I couldn't stop.

I would still like us to have a set date and time to pray for Jay. I wanted to send Jay the time and date of when we would be praying for him so that he could be aware of it. Also, many of us who might have wanted to participate did not know a date was set for today.

*laughs a bit* Air, we didn't know a date was set for today either. It was completely spontaneously God.

I agree, it would be good to have another day set as well.

God laid it on many of our hearts to pray for Jay specifically today, right at that time. It wasn't planned. We'd be happy to still have a planned day.

How is Thursday still shaping up for everyone?

We don't just have to do one or two days; we can keep planning days when we can gather and pray.

Most of the day Thursday works for me.

I know what you mean Aemi! When I entered the Chat room as this was happening I was touched, changed, molded. God worked a wonder in my soul. Such passion, such fire! I sang (for like an hour or more) "Our God is an awesome God". And I am not sure I ever really meant it like I did today. I actually felt His peace! It was amazing. I have felt it before. But this time I think the impact was greater than ever before.

I'm working on Thursday; but seeing as I think you're 5 hours behind me I might make it, as long as it isn't way past my bed time. Don't wait for me, I'll just try to be there.

Wow. What a prayer meeting. I was so sorry I missed it.

Any chance Wednesday would work for anyone? I'm busy on Thursday, except in the evening.

I'm pretty flexible. I don't, currently, know of anything happening Thursday... I really really look forward to praying with you guys again! That was awesome!!

I vote we have Thursday be an official praying on HW day, but I think every day should include prayer meetings like that, as different members are available. And not just about Jay... about Holy Worlds, and just whatever God brings up. (except gossipy stuff--as you know, that is strictly forbidden.)

If you're going to be in chat, be praying. *shrugs* Much better use of your time there than just talking about random stuff...

Carissa, I've been brainstorming with Nemo about daily prayer meetings. We all have different schedules, and I want to include as many people in this as possible.
