So...we never announced the winners for November and December's Photo-of-the-Month challenge :blush: Sorry, life has been crazy hectic lately and it totally slipped my mind. I'll go jump on my judges (one of whom is myself) and see if we can get those announced soon!

And now the sad part, for the time being, I'm indefinitely cancelling the POTM contest. I just don't have the time to keep it together anymore. I will talk to the judges and a few other peoples to see if there's a chance of someone else taking this over. But until further notice there will be no more POTM contest. But still continue to upload stock photos and make photomanipulations :D

I'd be willing to help. *Sniffs* This contest was sometimes the only thing that got me to do photomanips. :P Though I'm not much of a photomanipulator, so I don't know how useful I'd be as judge.

Update!

Since Seer has stepped down from running the POTM contests, I stuck my hand up to take over and now Seer has handed the reins of the contest to me. And since I'm a little unsure of a lot of things, I'm going to need some help! :D

Elly, Elanor, I'd love it if you could help me get organized! :D At the moment, you Elly, Jonathan and Amanda are the photo-of-the-month judges. However Amanda has resigned from judging, so we'll need to find someone else who is willing to judge. At present, we have a photographer, a photomanipulator, and a natural media artist as judges. Since Amanda has left, we are now down a natural media artist judge. Now this isn't vital, however it does make the judging a lot more structured since we have three very different opinions. If anyone who is a natural media artist is interested in becoming a POTM judge, please let me, Elly, or Elanor know!

(If we are going to have a photomanip contest for March, we will need to find a POTM judge by the 21st of February, so we have little time)

Also, if you guys could give me a rundown of what Seer and/or Dieki did to help you out with the judging, please tell me so I can help you with that! :D

Currently Inesdar, the POTM winner and I are the judges for the photomanips, so that won't change unless Inesdar is too busy to do it anymore, which is something I will check with him.

So! If all of you who are involved in judging/running could report here so we can clear up anything that needs to be discussed, that would be great! :D

I am off to bed now, I just quickly read your post, (It's going on for half 12 here, my bed time) but I'll come back tomorrow and re read, and gather some thoughts. :)

Update 2!

Brendan is currently unable to be a judge for the photomanips of the POTM contest, so I will need another person willing to be a judge. I'm hoping for someone with some familiarity with photomanipulating, or at the very least arty. :D If anyone is interested, please let me know! :D

I've sort of dabbled a tad in photomanipulation and could appreciate the work put into an computer-edited image. I could do it. *hesitant handraise*

Okay! We now have a new judge for the photomanips: Noah (TheRatchetOrange) has kindly volunteered to help choose the winning manips at the end of each month. :D So glad to have you aboard, Noah! :D

I'm waiting on two final PM's, and when I receive them, the POTM contest will be up and running completely again. :D
