It is with great excitement that I announce this to you – Holy Worlds is now on Twitter! Our account is here: @holyworlds
This account is for the entire community. Posts about HWF, HWSF, and any other HW project are made here.
What will we be tweeting? We’ll tweet about everything that’s new – announcements, developments, blog posts, members. We’ll have random trivia and quotes from the forums, as well as just general chatter. That’s what Twitter is for, right?
We’ll use this account to interact with our own members, as well as promote HW to the Twitter universe. We can also promote some of our members’ accomplishments. If you’re on Twitter, follow us! RT us and @mention us, and we’ll do the same.
To go along with this new Twitter account, we also made up some hashtags. #holyworlds is our general tag; use #hw if you run out of room. #hwf and #hwsf can be used as applicable, as well as #hwcs. Add these tags to your tweets to help promote Holy Worlds – and make it easier for other HWers to find your tweets!
As a final note – because the account is being managed by multiple people, we will be “signing” our tweets with an abbreviation of our HW username. Currently, Sir Emeth (^SEM) and myself (^PA) are doing the bulk of the tweeting. As other people join the team, they’ll get signatures as well. Eventually we’ll format these signatures into a key that will go in our Twitter background.
If you’re not on Twitter, you’re probably wondering if I’m speaking in a foreign language. But you can still follow us, either via RSS (there’s a link on the Twitter page) or via our new Google Buzz account.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or Sir Emeth. Jay says I am unofficially in charge of this project, as I sorta took over when Twitter was brought to the table.
